I ordered the Da Spicy Plate, and everything on it was so tasty. Every bite was packed with flavor, and you can really tell that a lot of care goes into the food. I definitely recommend ordering ahead online and eating there if you can. The line is always long and the place is usually packed, but rightfully so. The food is that good! Definitely worth the wait and absolutely worth checking out.

Not only does the place feel like you're stepping into Island life but the food is delicious as well! We tried Da "Korean Zombie" which consisted of 1/2" korean short rib, Crispy Korean chicken meat jun, rice, mac salad, kimchi and supposed to come with bean sprouts but came with cucumber salad instead. I wish it came with the bean sprouts alas, the cucumber salad was a good alternative. The Korean short ribs are a must try!! Only wish the mac salad and cucumber salad came in a bigger portion. It came in a small sauce container but I guess times are tough so I'm grateful for whatever was given If you are trying Hawaiian food, in my opinion they must get the mac salad right and this place definitely did a good job! Everything else just paired so well with the sweetness of the teriyaki sauces and crispy chicken meat jun. The flavors just balance the sweet and salty and the tanginess of kimchi. I added their available hot sauce (Red Beards) for an extra kick which was to die for. Their spam musubi was on point which is hard to mess up and is a must to get along side a can of lilikoi passian Hawaiian Sun. Stick a fork in me, I'm done!!! So good!! Can't wait to come back

I had to try the Katsu Kimchi Butter Chicken at Shootz, and honestly, it was absolutely delicious…read more The chicken was flavorful and crispy, and the combination of the katsu, kimchi butter, and everything else on the sandwich worked really well together. One thing that really surprised me was that they actually put their Mac salad directly on the sandwich. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was seriously so good and added a really nice texture and extra layer of flavor. One thing worth mentioning is that the Mac salad does contain tuna. I honestly haven't had Mac salad with tuna before, but you can't really notice the tuna flavor at all. It just seems to add more depth to the overall flavor. That said, definitely keep it in mind if you have a fish or tuna allergy. Overall, the Katsu Kimchi Butter Chicken was a really unique and delicious sandwich, and I'd definitely order it again.

It was delicious and portion size was great, but the service and promo were frustrating. They had a huge sign advertising FREE Ube Beignets for downloading their app. The cashier told me to download it and redeem it in-app. I tried, but the app didn't have clear instructions on how to redeem. When I went back to ask for help, the original cashier brushed me off saying she was on break, and a male server told me they didn't even have any Ube Beignets available??? Umm, wait it's less than an hour past opening time. Being "out" of a front-and-center promo item 30 minutes after opening feels like a bait-and-switch. Take the sign down if you can't honor it. Food is good, but the experience left a bad taste.

I finally had a chance to eat a very late breakfast on a weekday at their restaurant located at The Bluffs shopping center. The interior is about the smallest of any Aloha Stacks I've been to. While there are minimal tables indoors, there are many under a huge covered patio to the side plus a few more tables under umbrellas in front. It was nearly noon and I had no problem finding an indoor table after ordering at the counter. I ordered a plate of regular French toast with side containers of coconut syrup along with a serving of Portuguese sausage and an iced mocha latte. My food and drink were delivered to my table in a few minutes. By the way, all the staff here are so cheerful and helpful! My French toast was done perfectly - 3 pieces cut in half. Although it's not on the menu (I guess it's a secret item), I always ask for coconut syrup when I order French toast or pancakes. It comes very creamy in the containers but once spread, it semi-liquifies into a syrupy consistency and is DELICIOUS! Be sure to ask for it and give it a try. I am a huge fan of their Portuguese sausage. It balanced the sweetness of my French toast and has excellent flavor with a hint of spiciness. The iced mocha was good with a strong chocolate taste, more so than coffee. I've loved every meal I've had at different Aloha Stacks locations and this one is no exception.

They are changing all sorts of dishes and recipes and they're just straight up not as good. I've ordered this place twice since, meals I loved before that were changed up for no apparent reason and they are very mediocre. Sub 4 stars is about right for the quality of dishes from here these days. Sad! Hopefully they go back to the quality recipes they used to serve. At the very least the staff is still friendly so kudos to them for that, but it will be awhile before I order from here again.

Even if someone spent money at your location, the valet is going to charge you extra where there's no signage that says anything about $25? So, finally a relative mentioned this place, mentioned that they'd tried it before, and wanted to invite us for breakfast/brunch, so I jumped on the chance and accepted the invitation. Yes, it's a pretty small place, but coming here, I still reminisce of the days when it used to be a small Chinese restaurant, and I used to be a regular back then. But I'm glad to see this change as I actually love a good breakfast place that's not a long drive away from home. As is pretty usual these days, you simply line up, place your order at the counter, pay, take your number, place it on your table, and they bring your food to your table when ready. There are a number of tables inside, but there's Siau the option to sit outside on the public dining area, which is pretty nice too if the weather's pleasant. Fyi, I love breakfast places, and especially Hawaiian style. So, I went ahead and ordered the chicken omelet with tater tots for myself, a short stack of banana pancakes and the trio waffle... comes with banana, blueberries, and strawberries... to share. Others ordered the kalua pork omelet, avocado omelet with hash browns. Everybody loved their omelets... they were prepared prefecture, very fresh ingredients used, and tasted absolutely delicious.....I loved my tater tots too, but my wife thought they were a bit salty. Anyway, I totally enjoyed my omelet. As for the waffle and pancakes..... they tasted delicious too, but the waffle was not crispy at all... just pillowy soft throughout...I prefer my waffles too have outside and nice and light crisp on the outside and a warm fluffy delicious inside...... just a personal textural preference. My wife really enjoyed the fresh, hot, and fluffy pancakes and remarked that they were some of the best she'd ever eaten... and that she's definitely coming back again for her next craving for delicious pancakes. Overall, we were all very satisfied with our meal and nice friendly service here. So glad to have another good restaurant at the WTC as its been a while since we were impressed by any of the eateries in this shopping center.

I understand it's challenging to run a restaurant in this day and age, but come on! We split poke nachos, taco, tiger pocket, roll, and 4 spam musubi. Pick your own protein for the taco, pocket and roll. Nachos comes with tuna. Everything was great! Wife said nachos were too spicy, but I didn't think so. Heads up just in case you're sensitive. The combo of avocado and spam was an interesting mix, and it had the tasty umami flavor. I'd love to try the other options. I also had two Spam Musubi. I knew this place had to be good since out of all the customers I was the only Haole. I got my food and the box was packed. They have to tape the box shut. The beef ribs were so tender as was the Kalbi. I wish there was more of the Kalbi, it was so good. I'll have to order a separate plate on my next visit. I love chicken, and theirs was delicious. My Musubi was also delicious. Eating here is like getting a plate at a friend's house. The food is that good. I need to explore more of the menu on future visits. Service is great and everyone was really nice.

I'm not sure if we just came on a bad day or what. I'm from Hawaii, so I know what local Hawaiian…read morefood tastes like, since I grew up eating it. And this place was not the traditional Hawaiian food I'm used to eating. I was highly disappointed since I had high expectations from seeing a TikTok social media influencer who came here to eat. His video showed food that looked way different than what we got. The restaurant is very tiny located inside a strip mall that shares a little parking lot with a medical center, nail hair salon, and other businesses. It was very difficult finding a parking spot. The inside is narrow and has about three tables to sit at and there might be a table outside too. Their menu was extensive, and the prices were reasonable with the portion size of food they give you. The customer service was great. The cashier guy was super friendly and was helping people out as quickly as possible. The place was packed and the line was out the door. Let's start with the Kanak Attack. It had 4 baby fried shrimp that was good, but I wished they were bigger pieces. The BBQ chicken was cut into little pieces, so it was dry and overcooked. The Kalbi ribs were two little pieces that had great flavor, but wished I got at least one whole strip. The Portuguese sausages were a disappointment and didn't taste anything like the kind we have in Hawaii. The Joe Shack had the dry pieces of BBQ chicken, chewy steak pieces, and a fatty beef rib. The steak was seasoned well, but was overcooked, so it was chewy. The beef rib had nothing but fat and barely had any meat on it. It was so greasy and gross that my husband couldn't even eat it. I would not recommend the beef rib unless you like eating fat. Another thing that was really bad was the macaroni salad. That's one of the most traditional local Hawaiian food, and if you can't get that right, then you have missed the mark. I would skip this and get double rice instead. They are supposedly famous for their Musubi. The Hawaiians love their Spam, so when you make Spam Musubi, then make sure the portion of rice and Spam is equivalent. My piece of Spam in the Musubi was so thin, that I barely tasted it. The rice and spicy mayo were delicious, but it was way too small. That is not what a Spam Musubi should look like. I would not recommend this unless they changed it, and put a thicker piece of Spam. The Char Sui Pork Fried Rice looked nothing like the photo. Char Sui should not look pink. It definitely was too sweet and was not cooked properly. The rice was too sticky for fried rice. The flavor was off. This dish was a hot mess, and I would not recommend it. Don't be surprised if you use your card to pay, and get an extra charge. There's no sign about an extra charge. They charge you $1.30 if you use your card. Basically, they want you to use cash only. We definitely will not be coming back here again. I was so excited about this place since I wanted some homeland food, but I guess the hunt for best Hawaiian food continues.
