Only to be told after a long wait that they couldn't sell me anything because the cash registers were down. This was only after I'd stood there for several minutes. The women working at the checkout had looked at me once or twice, turned their backs on me to deal with supplies or something, and dealt with other customers including a man who walked in the door after I'd already been waiting for some time, all as if I wasn't standing there with a cartload of stuff, waiting to be served. So I walked out with nothing, having lost the better part of an hour trying to buy bedding. I went around the corner and bought what I needed from Slumberland instead. The service there was friendly and efficient, and the bedding actually cost less than the sale prices at Kohl's. Kohl's management, in this instance your staff should have either put a sign on the door or posted a staff member at the door to turn people away. I saw at least 4 different staff people while shopping. Any one of them could have alerted me to the situation. The woman at the checkout said it had been down all day. They'd had time to come up with a contingency plan. You have lost me as a customer.

In the women's shoe area somebody had dumped a red drink all over a legging display completely ruining it and it had dried so it had been the a while and not cleaned up. In a display area for Christmas sweets people had just dumped trash all over the shelves. Its a good store but the staffers need to take pride in the whole store not just the fun stuff at the front of the store.
