I've shopped here for years but doubt I will ever return. I spent quite a lot of time in the store this morning making selections, then standing in line waiting to pay. Only to be told after a long wait that they couldn't sell me anything because the cash registers were down. This was only after I'd stood there for several minutes. The women working at the checkout had looked at me once or twice, turned their backs on me to deal with supplies or something, and dealt with other customers including a man who walked in the door after I'd already been waiting for some time, all as if I wasn't standing there with a cartload of stuff, waiting to be served. So I walked out with nothing, having lost the better part of an hour trying to buy bedding. I went around the corner and bought what I needed from Slumberland instead. The service there was friendly and efficient, and the bedding actually cost less than the sale prices at Kohl's. Kohl's management, in this instance your staff should have either put a sign on the door or posted a staff member at the door to turn people away. I saw at least 4 different staff people while shopping. Any one of them could have alerted me to the situation. The woman at the checkout said it had been down all day. They'd had time to come up with a contingency plan. You have lost me as a customer. read more

The newer system of checking out here is not proficient. Having check outs and returns at the same place slows things down. There were 3 employees at the checkouts, and the line moved at a slow pace in part due to the returns process. read more

PLZ READ! 1-27-24 4pm Was trying to buy some clearance Fitbits, and was questioned for our reasoning then a woman came over with a scowl on her face, asking us if we were with some guy from Minnesota. We proceeded to tell her no wondering why we were experiencing such rude service and then we mentioned how we wanted to also buy one of the thermostats and she sternly said "NO"as if we were her children and then asked if we could trade one of the Fitbit so then we could get the thermostat and she proceeded to sternly tell us "NO" as if we were children and we started to walk away she in ear range purposefully spoke to her walkie-talkie, letting the rest of the staff know we were in "their database!" And rudely wanted to make sure that we knew we would be getting no points or Kohl's cash for this purchase as if we were doing something wrong, and when we got to the register two other staff members had to observe the transaction and make sure stating out loud that we would not be able to get any points or Kohl's cash and proceeded to look at us like we were children trying to be naughty. Will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel welcomed! And whoever that lady is, I hope you don't treat every single person with the amount of disrespect you treated my boyfriend, and I! The other man who was with us was polite, and we could tell he felt sorry for the service we got saying that someone else came there before, and gave them a hard time which had nothing to do with us. Staff cannot seem to figure out who is coming and going. I've been waiting in line for more than 20 minutes at almost 2 pm on a Tuesday. They have been useless. Unable to tell you where anything is and just ignoring the customers. Literally having side and personal conversations amongst the plethora of staff that are all grossly incompetent. read more

Great, great buys at Kohl's. I just bought about $564.00 worth of Christmas gifts for $150.00, talk about a steal! Also talk about helpful people at the register I could not find my slip for 20% off Lisa walked me thru how to find it on my email which was huge! She had the sweetest smile and was extremely cheerful, even with a huge line of people behind me, really showed the holiday spirit. read more

I like Kohl's and I always find something for anyone I am shopping for there. Yesterday, I tried to use my Kohl's cash for a purchase. Unfortunately, it expired the day before and I was unable to use it. The weather in Michigan has been awful and with the illnesses going around I have tried to stay out of stores but needed something pretty for my daughter's birthday. I could tell the cashier was sorry but she couldn't do anything about it. I ended up purchasing the item at JC Penney because it was on sale and I didn't need to use a coupon or Kohl's "cash" to get the price. Watch the expiration on your Kohl's "cash". Definitely a disappointment. read more

I love their sale prices and their staff is pretty nice. However, I get really irritated when the cashiers are so flipping pushy about the charge card. I know that they are supposed to ask, but if somebody says no, don't harass them! I almost changed my mind about my purchases and walked out because that woman would not stop badgering me about the charge card benefits...at this was not an isolated event. read more

Paying Kohl's online is a hassle. They ask way too many times to click 1 if you want to make a payment and advertise in the meantime. Nobody has time for that. I hung up after having to call back 3 times because it kept taking me to a representative when all I wanted to do was PAY MY BILL AND NOT GET ADDITIONAL FEE FOR IT!! SCREW YOU KOHLS.
