Cool, trendy restaurant with a lot of personality. Food was average, nothing stood out. Fish and chips and pad Thai were flavorless but the nachos were delicious.

Had a delicious pulpo carpaccio and a prawn dish with mango and avocado. Both were tasty. Loved the ambience. They have an eclectic menu ranging from Italian, Japanese, Spanish and American inspired creations. The pizzas looking delicious!

I totally understand service and restaurant culture in Madrid is totally different from the USA. I've been to this restaurant many times before. After my last visit I definitely will not return to this location. I felt as is the staff just did not want to offer me service as I had to wait a Long time for everything. The person serving me was nice but it just wasn't enough. The reason for this post is to address the raw burger that I received. It was rare and cold inside. I asked for medium. Even if it was a little under medium that would have been ok. I will post the photos they will explain it all. The waitor offered to take it back and I let him. Even when it came back it was still not cooked enough. I can deal with mediocre service while in madrid but raw food isn't acceptable. I'll just have to try a different location. Such a shame because this was one of my favorite places to eat in madrid.

Super cute place with a lot of tables which seems hard to find in Madrid, most restaurants are as big as my bedroom meaning make a reservation or you'll never get seated. But any who.. We got a bunch of pizzas which were pretty good, a meat one & margarita. The one thing I couldn't get over was the Onion soup -- it was horrible, flavorless. I don't know what ingredients go into it but it should have some sort of salt or flavor, it tasted like water. And just to make sure I wasn't crazy, I passed it around for some other opinions & everyone agreed. My sister said the Pad Thai was good though.

I was hungry, so half the steak was gone pre-photo.

Very pleasant place to eat- broadly modern European food. Good number of outdoor tables. Excellent ribeye steaks and good pizzas. Expect to pay around €50 for two mains and a drink or two.

In the heart of the beautiful and restored Malasaña neighborhood, this La mucca boasts a great ambiance. The place is a succesion of heterogeneous rooms built around the old housing structure. Wood beams, exposed brick walls, etc... We ordered burgers and pizzas. The pizzas were really good with thin crispy shells. (We ordered the chorizo on and the "Escalibur": zuchini, peppers and eggplant. They were all pretty delicious. On the down side, the place can be very noisy at it has a full bar in the front but thanks to recent anti-smoking laws it's blissfully clear of the lethal atmosphere that used to pervade in many Spanish restaurants.

Great hidden gem to visit. Delicious food and recommendations per the waiter & waitress there. Nice and fast to receive food. I had the Pad Thai and man, it was so good I have no picture to show. Also had this red tea with honey & a yummy carrot cake. Calm peaceful location. Bring a sweater it can get chilly m, but overall good find. Ppp

Lamucca de Pez has an interesting menu featuring a medley of world flavors. Some very Spanish dishes, but they also integrate Mediterranean, Asian, and South American flavors. What ties it all together is attention to detail and gourmet touches that makes this food special (and enables them to attach a pretty price tag). Between two of us we shared the La Pollita pizza and the Ensalada de Pimientos y Queso de Cabra. Both were delicious and they went super well together. Thin crust pizza, yummy salad with lots of toppings and flavors. Portions were on the small side, and prices a tad high in my opinion. Overall, though, a scrumptious dinner in Malasaña.

Was brought there by one of my friend who is a local. First there is a large terrasse where you can enjoy the sun or have a drink in the evening. And then in the inside you find a spacious and cosy restaurant. You have tables, sofa and bar style tables. We took drinks first, service was quick. Then we decided to share 3 plates between the 4 of us. A large salad with avocado, tomatoes, lettuce... Delicious and fresh. Then the vegetarian quésadillas and a vegetarian pizza. Just too good. Everything was super tatsy. the pizza had a thin crust, lot of vegetables and not too heavy. Perfect spot for groups, family and friends to hang out. There was even a Tinder date next to us :D

I came here twice and was given the tip by a local. its tucked away in a lovely plaza and as were were he in November we did not sit outside although the tables are set up and if the sun is shining on them its still very comfortable. The bar area is great and very trendy. We were back for Sunday lunch and i recommend booking as every table was booked. We did get one but had to be gone by a certain time which was OK as we need to be anyway. The food was excellent and the staff are lovely and helpful and there is free WiFi. The first occasion we just had starters and wine and stayed in the bar area but on the second we went all out 3 courses. The vegi platter is huge, but i was craving vegetables after a few days of tapas and lots of carbs. Love it and will be back.

    Great atmosphere

They sat us on a four top first, but then told us we couldn't sit there because it was reserved. They took our drink order, gave us some peanuts and then nothing. We sat for 25 min, I had to waive our server over. They weren't even busy, literally just standing there at the entrance. And then when he asked us do you want to pay and we said no we want to order. He told us to hold up and went inside to bring out a pen and paper. Ummm shouldn't you be prepared already? Then when we were ordering, we ordered the lasagna. And he asked us what kind. Problem is there is only one lasagna dish on the entire menu so why would he ask us what kind. So I pointed it out on the menu. Then we asked for two entrees and he asked if we were sure we wanted two. Which again, weird question. Then a man approached and told us that we wouldn't have room on our table for the two entrees and tapas and moved us to the original table that was supposedly reserved. The lasagna was not good at all, it tasted like one of those cheap tv dinners. When she brought out meals, she knocked over the peanuts and didn't even bother to sweep them off the table. The other patrons that were seated after us were attended to right away and even when they sat down they asked them if they wanted bread which they never offered us. Didn't make us feel great at all. Avoid avoid avoid!! Edit: Not once after eating did they check up on us. We've been waiting about 45 min for the check
