We needed a lamp harp (the brass thing that holds lamp shade) to fix a perfectly good lamp. I'm a well-dressed, mature, well-mannered, senior man. I went into this place and didn't find the area for harps so I asked the salesperson where I could find the lamp harps display. She replied that they had them in back, and asked if that was all that I needed? I told her "yes" and she replied that she was (I'm paraphrasing now) too busy to get me a lamp harp. Wow! Granted, my sale would have been $10-$15 but my return business would have been enormous! Going elsewhere to find a better salesperson.. read more

I don't like to do reviews but I feel that lamps plus in Carlsbad ca was very unresponsive to our problem. The floor lamp we bought a couple of years ago, started flashing on and off. When I brought it in there to show them, they said it is probably the bulb. When I said OK give me a new bulb they said there's no way to change it. they tried to place the blame on the state of California for environmental reasons. My comment was ,so instead of being able to change a bulb you throw the whole lamp away? Apparently, yes! Then they said oh, a lot of the companies are doing this. I said I was never told this and if I had been told I wouldn't have bought it. I talked to three different people, and none of them were sympathetic. I walked over to look at floor lamps and spent 10 minutes looking without anyone helping me. I believe in voting with my wallet, so, lamps plus is off my list forever. read more

I called the Oside Lamps Plus Store and was ecstatic to learn they had the bulbs! They were just down the street and I zoomed right in. The service here is outstanding from Alex, Celeste and Christian, from searching for the product to seemingly knowing who I was right when I walked up to the desk. I don't know why I didn't think to shop here first. Pal and Ana were very patient and helpful both times I shopped at Lamps Plus in Oceanside recently. I purchased a couple new lamps for my living room that I later decided didn't fit like I was expecting them to, so I went in to return them today. They said no problem at all and Pal insisted on carrying everything in from my car then he walked around the entire store with me to help me find what I was looking for when I didn't quite know what I was looking for that would go with a sort of tropical decor. I showed him a picture of my living room and he helped me narrow my search down to 3 different lamps and I picked the one I think will fit the best. Unfortunately they didn't have the lamp I picked in stock, but they ordered one and said I will likely get it tomorrow! I just bought a new fan from Lamps Plus in Oceanside and thought it was time to write a review. I have purchased a few fans and lamps from them over the years. I'm a repeat customer because their customer service is excellent. I usually deal with Pal, the manager, and have also dealt with Jennifer in the past. Both are great! Very service oriented and great with keeping me informed about my order(s). For example, I needed a new bedroom fan. Pal asked if I could wait a week because it would probably going on sale. It did, so for his advice to wait I saved $50! Lamps Plus is definitely my go to place for fans and lighting. I highly recommend them. read more

This place is so unprofessional. I came in looking for pendant lighting. Any and all the questions I had the gentleman could not answer and quite frankly seem like he didn't want to help me at all.
