What a great guy! I called about an expensive desk lamp, with a wonky dimmer switch, and he had me come by in just a few hours. He knew the brand on sight, carefully disassembled it, replaced the dimmer module, and we were back in business pronto. He was fun to chat with too, and reasonably priced. So happy to have found the Lamp Doctor!!! read more

So happy to find Len - I had about 4-5 lamps I had collected that needed refurbishment and he took his time to give me an estimate and the was able to take the lamps day of. After taking in the lamps he ended up calling me to say it would be significantly less because he was able to figure out the lamp needed less than he thought. So honest and so efficient and very affordable. A great guy with a wealth of knowledge. I attached a pic of a Italian mid century wall sconce he restored for my vintage shop decor. read more

Len, the Lamp Doctor was great. I needed the little turney thingy for my lamp and instead of sending me on a wild goose chase to hardware stores, he sold me one for $5 and fortunately he lives close to me so I was able to get it quickly. He was very nice and told me to let him know if it did not work. It worked! He has great taste in lighting too! read more

My lamp had a broken switch. I was referred to Lamp Doctors from the store I purchased the lamp from. He works out of his home and repairs your lamp while you wait. He gave excellent directions to his home and gave me an appointment for the next day. The repair took only 15-20 minutes and I was charged only $30. Definitely recommend. read more

Excellent work! very honest man. I highly recommend the Lamp Doctor for any lamp repairs.

I took a mid century European accent lamp to Len to see if some damaged wiring could be repaired. Not only did he do a masterful job repairing it, he did it right on the spot while I waited And in the end at an incredibly reasonable price. Len has decades of experience and I doubt there's many problems that he can't fix when it comes to lamp lighting. Highly recommended! read more

Len repaired (actually redid all the wiring and installed new parts) 2 table lamps and one floor lamp a couple of weeks ago. All 3 lamps are working beautifully. Len's customer service is great: he called me back within a couple of hours even though he was on vacation out of state; all three lamps were repaired while I waited, and he explained exactly what he was doing, and gave me options about the type of on/off switches he could provide. He also was very informative about the types of light bulbs he recommended. Very glad I found him read more

I have an older floor model lamp that needed repair. I liked the reviews of Lamp Doctors, so called and was able set up an appointment. Len repaired this lamp today and replaced the switch with one that looks even better than the old switch and matches this lamp better, with a victorian look. Len is knowledgeable, pleasant and reasonably priced. He has been in the lighting business for 18 years and I would give him more stars. I very highly recommend the Lamp Doctors, especially Len. read more

Len can fix anything or walk you through the process so you can make your own repairs. He's a lamp genius.

What a pleasure to deal with such a kind and knowledgeable person as the owner, Len. He listened and took painstaking care to rewire, change the glass arms and replace a broken part of my parent's 70 year old crystal chandelier. It was beautiful before, but it's a show piece now. read more

This company restored a very delicate lamp that came crashing down. It was ruined and I was heartbroken as I will never find a set for my bedroom that pleases me as much! "Len" at the LAMP DOCTORS fixed it with great attention to detail! He worked miracles on it! It is now a much sturdier and well made lamp than it origionally was! Did I mention that he picked it up and delivered it and the charge was nominal? ! Thanks, Lamp Doctors! read more
