This review is long overdue, but Yelp deleted my previous draft so this took longer than I wanted…read moreto post. I had a going away gift for a Cub Scout pack member that needed to be done at the last minute. I searched Oahu for engraving shops and came upon Engraving Hawaii. Previously I had passed by it a couple times while walking around the Schofield Exchange, but never looked in before. I walked in and there were two customers in front of me. Nick was helping other customers and told me he would assist me as soon as he could. When it was my turn, I explained what I needed and when I needed it, but Nick explained they had an influx of rush jobs that needed to be completed. He let me know that it was unlikely to be finished by the requested date, and I was ok with it, because I tend to follow the saying, "Poor planning on your part does not necessitate an emergency on mine." That evening, I receive a text message from the shop requesting I proof-read and approve the layout. They got the layout exactly how I requested and I quickly replied it was perfect. I was afraid to think that it might get finished in time, but their quick draft gave me a glimmer of hope that it would be ready in time. The next day I got a message telling me the item was ready. I rushed over to the shop and sure enough it was completed and looked fantastic. Because of Engraving Hawaii, we were able to present the award at the banquet for the departing member! I was so impressed with the friendly and professional service. The team is really customer-focused, and based on what I was hearing from their interactions with the other customers they were going to try everything in their power to get requests just right. Cheers, Nick!

It can be challenging in Hawaii to find a print shop that can handle a last-minute one-off project,…read moreand even harder to find one that delivers truly exceptional custom work. That's exactly why I was so impressed with Blank Canvas Print Shop. I walked in with my T-shirt idea, and Caleb quickly put together a mock-up that exceeded my expectations. Not only was the design exactly what I envisioned, but the entire project was completed with a one-day turnaround as requested. The service was professional, efficient, and the final product was outstanding. I can't thank Caleb, Amanda and the team enough for making it happen. I highly recommend Blank Canvas Print Shop to anyone looking for quality custom printing and exceptional customer service.

My initial experience with Caleb, one of the owners, was positive. He was courteous and…read moreprofessional when I first placed my orders. Unfortunately, that professionalism did not continue once problems began. I spent well over $400 with this business, and there were repeated issues with my orders. First, the sizing was incorrect and had to be corrected. More importantly, I experienced ongoing problems with the quality of the printing. Designs began peeling off the garments despite my following the care and washing instructions exactly as directed. This happened three separate times, requiring me to ask that the items be redone. What I found completely unacceptable was Caleb telling me that my complaints were "becoming a pattern." Yes, there was a pattern--the printing repeatedly failed. A customer should not be made to feel as though they are the problem for reporting the same quality defect when it continues to happen. If a design repeatedly peels off after proper care and washing, that points to an issue with the printing, application, materials, or production process--not automatically to customer misuse. Attempting to turn repeated product failures into a criticism of the customer was extremely unprofessional. Caleb ultimately chose to refer me to other businesses. That is his decision, but after spending more than $400 and dealing with repeated quality problems, I find the way this situation was handled unacceptable. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this company. The print durability was disappointing, but the attitude I received after raising legitimate concerns was even more disappointing. When a business receives repeated complaints about the same issue, the appropriate response is to investigate the quality problem--not accuse the paying customer of being "a pattern."

The store isn't too big, but carry a lot of shirts and other merchandise. The prices are decent and the designs are pretty solid. They sell Hawaiian flags for $5, hats for $20, and shirts ranging from $10 and up. The first floor appears to be where they do their printing with all the machinery located there.

When i went to your shop to proofread and check out our order, it was so beautiful and rich looking. I had chicken skin in a good sense. Thank you for the delivery, which you offered because the order was completed later than anticipated. We received the order the afternoon before the event, but we were not able to use the men's shirts because the design was too big. We decided to use the women's tees for events. In our business, customer satisfaction is number one and we strive to make sure our customers are completely happy. I was not happy as a customer, therefore I reacted strongly. I now have to spend more money to purchase shirts with the correct design size, so I was upset. Since your response to the Yelp request was fast and you printed the shirts, I am adjusting my review to "3" because I was not satisfied with the customer service.

They do things the right way and I know for a fact that, they go above and beyond what is asked of them. A 1-day turn around is insanely hard to find in this business, but they get it done and get it done WELL!! My recommendation is to find out for yourself and choose Elevate print
