The installation was perfect and I believe nobody else in the area would've been able to handle my difficult transitions. This is my first and only review because they really deserve it. We had a good experience with Flooring America in Okemos. We got 4 estimates for what ended up…read morebeing 960 square feet of carpet, and were quite disappointed with the quality of product and service from places like Empire and The Carpet Guys. We also got an estimate from a small business locally. Flooring America was able to beat their price. Our salesperson, Ben, was helpful and responsive whenever I had a question or needed something -- even emailing back on his day off. He explained everything in clear terms, and he gave straightforward answers to questions I had about types of carpet, how different types would stand up over time, etc. He was the only one of the four places to measure with a laser!!! Some of the others just kind of threw their tape measure around and whatever number they got was "close enough." Then they'd scribble down figures in pencil on graph paper. I think the laser is much more accurate. The carpet was ordered and ready for when our schedule would allow for us to have it installed. The installers were polite and efficient. They explained what they were doing, and they consulted me whenever they had a question about which way I would prefer they do something. They did a beautiful job, and I am happy we chose Flooring America. And I am so pleased to have my nasty old carpet out of here!
