Can't say enough good things about Discount Carpet Warehouse. Especially working with Scott Gooding…read morewas a pleasure. I was referred to them by a friend who is also in the industry, and he said they were much better than any big box store. Scott took time to understand that this job was for my cousin who has some challenges and kept working with him to make him part of the project. Costs were exceptionally reasonable and quality of product and installation was great. Thanks Scott and crew.

Wow, they do it all: run the store and install the carpet both! I didn't realize it when I came in…read moreto look, so I was lucky to "catch them at home", so to speak. They get points for being eager: as soon as my carpet came in, they were ready to install. The only downside is that it was a few days into the virus lockdown, so we had to wait a while before we scheduled them. They didn't wear any PPE, which was a little annoying after we asked them to, but not enough to mark them down a whole star. We simply tried our best to stay six feet away, which wasn't too difficult, as they were just doing a bedroom. The best part was their reasonable prices. I went to a competitor and they were charging at least double--and that's without tear-out! I would definitely recommend this business to others.

Tom and his crew built us a totally custom home, were professional, responsive, and now we are in our forever home. My entire family is happy here. Like living in a vacation home. Highly, highly recommended and believe me, my family is "picky". All the horror stories you hear about building, I have none. Only regret is I wish I had picked a different light fixture in one room. We all got everything we wanted including my husband's giant garage with the electric car plug in "just in case"...

I held back per Paul's request just enough to have him come back and finish the job, yet not enough to have someone else fix the installation issues. There is no warranty nor integrity here. I would avoid using him at all costs, and unfortunately he is Rycus Floorings only and #1 guy. I waited quite a while for Heritage to install my shower, which is usually a good sign-but after the damaged tiles needed to be ordered he bailed after weeks of waiting for the new tile to come in. He agreed to pay for the new box of tile, however I am trying to find a tile guy willing to finish and fix someone else's work. Sad part is they were only a day and a half's worth of work from completion and a good review, now it's my headache.

He was also going to paint the frame when he brought the new screen. He said it should arrive by the end of the week. Over the last 6 weeks, I have called and left messages, most of which were ignored. When I finally talked to the salesman after 3 1/2 weeks, he said it would be in the next week and he'd call. When I hadn't heard from him a week after that date, he said he'd check on it and get "right back" to me. Again nothing and again he didn't return my message the next day. Luckily, I hadn't paid anything and have since found a screen online. I don't know if this is now typical of YB&D customer service. They converted my fireplace from wood-burning to gas several years ago and I was beyond pleased with their service. I'm disappointed and bewildered as to why the negative service now.
