I had a dead exterior floodlight circuit that another electrician brushed off in two minutes and told me to replace the fixture. Even after replacing it, it still didn't work. Phillip took the time to actually diagnose the problem. Within minutes of looking around, he spotted a painted-over access cover near the area where I'd had rodent issues. Sure enough, there was a hidden (and improperly installed) connection with loose wires - no junction box at all! He carefully uncovered it, repaired the connections the right way, and restored power using my original floodlight. He was professional, knowledgeable, and fair. He solved a problem others ignored and charged a very reasonable $165. Want to give a shout out to Lambright electric! This is the second time we've used Phillip. The first time, he changed out a faulty fuse in our electrical box. Very reasonable and professional. Today, we had him come out to check out ceiling fan/light kit, as the switch wasn't working. Long story short, the pull switch on the light had been pulled to off. Yes we felt silly. Phillip is great. He and his assistant Wally were able to do everything we wanted - which was nice compared to some of our previous electricians we have had in the past who said we weren't able to do things with smart devices and switches that Phillip and Wally had no trouble with. Even better is that Phillip has very reasonable prices. So not only was he able to do more than other electricians had for us in the past, Phillip did it for less! Phillip also cares about customer service, too. His assistant made a slight mistake with a wire on one of the smart home smoke detectors we had them install - which we also missed noticing at first due to the simple fact that the detector also has a battery backup and technically seemed to be functioning fine until I set up internet and the detector reported itself as not having AC power. Anyway, I called Phillip who helped me troubleshoot it to make sure it wasn't a faulty detector, and once it was determined it wasn't, Phillip came out and fixed it himself early the next business day morning. As a lot of homes in Texas,we have these very high ceilings and reaching a smoke alarm that is 30 ft in the air might prove to be a feat. However,this professional greeted me and wore shoe covers. Phil was able to find and fix the poorly spliced wire that kept my chandelier from working the past year. I had another electrician out before him and he could not find the problem. About seven days ago I developed a significant electrical issue at my home in Frisco. Having some significant electrical experience I was not able to troubleshoot the source of the issue. After spending multiple hours on it I decided to find a quality electrician. After doing my research I found Phillip Lambright. I was impressed by the five star ratings and the fact that Phillip helped people try to solve their problems if he could on the phone or via text. I knew my issue was significant so Phillip was able to come on Monday morning at 9 AM having only contacted him the previous Saturday. I wanted somebody well experienced and a master electrician. His 33 years of experience and master electrician status met my standard. The one thing I'll say about Phillip and Wally (his assistant) is they did not quit! My issue across multiple circuits was a challenge to diagnose with the final word being damaged wiring within a wall. PHILLIP DEVELOPED A SOLUTION! One with another small ceiling fan (42") and the other with a flush mount. (I had no complaint about their quality of work either, which should be noted.)
