    This place is horrible!! bed bugs and Mold all over the mattress! The owner is super rude and did not want to give us a refund because we had already stayed 2 hours, he said we did something to the room!!! We insisted and showed the owner the pics and he had a super bad attitude!! he wanted us to stay the night in another room but no refund.

    I booked Room #308 at the Lambert Inn for 7 nights from October 5th to the 12th for business where I needed 1 week of seclusion to study online courses and take several online quizzes and exams for recertification and licensing. That was a week of hell, and I felt helpless. You see, on the day of check-in, I went to the office window and requested a lower level room but the man behind the glass said "No, you're taking the 3rd floor," and I was shocked because his tone was as if he was fighting with me. So, I politely signed in and went to the room and tried to get settled in and set up for studying. Then I decided that I'd watch something on cable TV before getting started studying. However, the cable TV remote wasn't working so I went to the office and the same man tested the remote and added batteries without uttering one word, which felt weird. When I went back to the room, the cable TV with fresh batteries did not turn on the Directv cable box, so I went back down to the office and the same man said, I'll come check it out tomorrow, but he never actually came the next day or any other day, except on the last day when it was time for me to check out, so cable TV was unavailable to me for my entire week. The worst part is that this hotel room if not the entire hotel is infested with roaches. Roaches were encountered everywhere, on my bed, my pillow, on the nightstands, on top and inside the refrigerator and microwave, on top of the AC/Heater unit, running across the walls and carpet, in the wash-hand basin sink and countertop, around an in the bath-tub and toilet. I also had to flick one off of my left forearm, and while I was studying, two ran across my computer screen, one crawled up the computer power cord, and one on the keyboard. In my one-week stay, I killed a total of [68] roaches, and there were several that got away, so that number could have been higher. I couldn't really sleep well, eat well, or study well because of the roach infestation, but I couldn't even deal with the office man because he was so uncourteous. I felt sick the entire time and the reality is I was stuck there because I couldn't just pick up my things and go pay for another Inn or Hotel without a full refund. There is a huge sign above the office window that reads "No Refunds." I left there not just feeling sick, but with a mild earache that has gotten worse, but I haven't gone to the doctor yet to get to the bottom of my symptoms - it could be that a roach has gotten into my ear. The day I was leaving, I decided to check everything to make sure I wasn't leaving with any roaches, so I opened the room door and started to put my things outside as they were cleared of roaches. Then the same office man showed up and told me "check-out time," not even greeting me with the time of the day. I said to him, "I've killed over 60 roaches here, and I'm just making sure I'm not taking any with me." He said, "Okay, okay," and went back down to the office. I continued to check everything and went down to the office at 11:15 AM; put the keys under the window which he took without uttering a word. I thought that was it with these people, but when I walked over to my car, I found that they put a half-rotting potato on my car near the driver-side windshield wiper. I didn't know what to make of it, so I took a few pictures. Later my sister found something on the internet that in the Indian culture, it's for me to be sympathetic. So basically, I'm supposed to sympathize with them and not leave this review. How about apologizing to me for my hellish experience and giving me a full refund - not an option eh? Well, I decided to report everything to Booking.com who called them on my behalf to request a refund, but they failed to answer the phone for Booking.com, so Booking.com told me to go ahead and leave this review, but it was limiting so I decided to leave and expanded version here. They failed on all fronts, not taking care of their property to rid it of the roach infestation, not taking care of their patrons by being courteous and addressing their needs, and not doing the right thing by issuing me a full refund through Booking.com.

    One of the worst hotels ever. The room smells like dust. The ac smells like dust. The shower pressure is very hard. No deposit and I see why the toilet and showers make noises. The bed is very hard. The lamps don't have covers. The customer service was awful they wouldn't give us extra towels.Also the remote to the TV was covered in sticky stuff and the door is hard to lock and unlock Do Not Come Here it's Awful . I will never be coming back worst night in LA. I'm visiting from the Bay Area I will never be coming back.

    Property is in dire need of a complete renovation and new management. The pictures of the property looked okay on the internet, but in person it was a significant decline from the photos that may have been taken a while ago. Due to a couple of accidents that held up traffic on the freeway, I arrived two hour later than anticipated checking in around 10:00 p.m. on a Sunday evening. Getting out of my car, the first thing I heard was an electric saw buzzing and hammers pounding away, obviously construction was in progress, but at 10:00 p.m. on a Sunday evening? That was more than unusual. I asked the manager if I had to listen to that all night and he said, "No. It will stop at 11:00." Personally, I think construction going on until 11:00 p.m. on a Sunday evening is not acceptable. There were no blankets and it was a chilly night so I slept in my PJ's, socks and the jacket I arrived in for warmth. The wall heater/AC didn't seem to do much other than circulate the air. A paper strip on the toilet indicated it was sanitized, but there were marks on the toilet seat that initially I thought was dirt, but it was a grayish paint or some sort of epoxy I believe to patch chips or scratches on the cover. The shower/bathtub had the same grayish paint or epoxy in many spots. The room did not have a bad smell so I am assuming it was clean. Nonetheless, I did not shower or use that tub. In the bedroom area, peeling paint around the door jam, walls and the lamp shades were damaged; not on the outside of the shade, but inside the shade. Even though the carpet was worn and looked clean, I never took off my socks off to be on the safe side. The only reason I didn't leave was the hotel was located very close to a cemetery where I had to attend for a funeral early in the morning and I am not familiar with that area. I think I got two hours of sleep because a child in the room above me ran around their room for what seemed to be hours. Not a good experience at all.

    Absolutely disgusting. The pictures on expedia looked nice but boy are they diceiving! First of all there is literally no lobby, just a glass window with a hole so you can slide papers back and forth and the guy speaks so soft that you can't even hear him. Secondarily, they make you pay a cash deposit to receive the key to your room. Thirdly, our "non-smoking" room reaked of smoke and the icing on the cake was that even though they advertise that they serve a free breakfast THEY DO NOT. OH, and don't even get me started on the broken fire alarm, TV and hairdryer or the ugly fake flowers and how dirty the property was.

    Shot out to Ashley M for outstanding service!…read more We're usually used to staying at some of the larger Marriott brands, but we decided to stay here for one night (3/15/26-3/16/26) since we just needed a quick getaway close to home and it ended up being such a cute little hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, but what really made our stay stand out was the service. Everyone we encountered was incredibly sweet and gracious, but ASHLEY M. truly went above and beyond. I had originally asked for a pool view but couldn't really see it from our room. Without hesitation, she said, "Give me a moment," and rearranged things to get us a room with a proper pool view. That alone was amazing, but then I realized I had left something behind in the previous room. Ashley immediately reassured me and had someone retrieve it and bring it right over. She handled everything with such kindness, a smile, and genuine care, it really made a difference. When we checked out, I believe the manager's name was Isaac (I didn't catch it for sure), and he was just as pleasant and professional. You could tell the way the place is run reflects strong, gracious leadership. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Clean, welcoming, and filled with kind people who truly care. This stay was far below expected standards in cleanliness & guest care. I would strongly advise against staying here. I endured an extended business stay at this property and from the start, the room was not properly cleaned -- food debris on the floors, a heavily soiled couch with crumbs throughout, and an unsanitary shower head that required replacement. Maintenance issues, including plumbing (foul smelling water) and power concerns, took days to resolve. Housekeeping was inconsistent and often unacceptable. On multiple occasions, floors were not cleaned, sheets were not changed, and visibly stained bedding was placed on the bed. Debris was left behind, including someone else's hair and trash, indicating the room was not properly serviced. Most concerning, I experienced insect activity and developed a significant bite during my stay that is still healing. A colleague on the same floor reported similar issues. This raises serious sanitation and health concerns. Despite multiple reports, concerns were dismissed or inadequately addressed at the management level. Rather than resolving the issues, responses were deflective and unprofessional. I ultimately had to escalate this matter to corporate to receive any acknowledgment. For a Marriott property, this is unacceptable and this establishment is unfit. I would never return to this property.

When she told me I could stay the guy that was actually there told me I had to give him my credit card and leave my credit card with them for three hours. I told him why did I have to do that? I've never had to do that before anywhere, including here, he said I just have to get the information for my boss. I told him is it cool if I hold onto your credit card for three hours, which he responded with no I can't let you have my credit card. So then I said so why should I let you have my credit card? You don't even really Work here apparently and you're trying to hold onto my credit card in three hours. You can waste on my money. He said no I won't do that. I promise. About three hours later he came back to my room gave me back my credit card and kicked me out of the room and told me to go to a different room after I had already put all my stuff down and took a nap and a shower. That was just one of many. I came today called at 9 AM in the morning. Asked when I can check in. They told me come at 11. I've stayed at many places over the years--Marriott, Embassy Suites, even high-end casino resorts back home in San Diego--and I can honestly say this place stands right there with them. Also, the brick stone grill is a shit hole Appetizers were left out for hours with nothing covering them Seven beers on tap. Guess what none of them worked I asked for this I asked for that. The only taps at work were the ones that were free all the rest empty. This was so disappointing
