Easy and seamless check in/out with friendly staff. Plentiful parking. They charge $12.00 per day for parking. My gripe: some mold in the corner of the shower and shower flooring. Yikes! They provided a shower anti-skid mat in the shower which was folded and dried - I just used that and showered w my slippers on. But I really shouldn't have to if the shower was cleaned. Maybe grout stains - not sure but better safe than sorry. The room was clean and the bedding was freshly laundered. They clean the room every other day unless you indicate otherwise.

They were always so sweet and genuinely curious about how our day had gone whenever we returned to the hotel, which made us feel truly cared for. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the lobby had a pleasant, refreshing scent every time we walked through. The mobility accessible shower was a huge plus, especially since my partner is a disabled veteran--it made things much easier and more comfortable for him. And the remote controlled curtains and blinds were such a fun and convenient touch that we absolutely loved. The store on-site was convenient and had a great selection of items. We also thought the self serve "pour your own beer" option was such a cool feature, even though we didn't get a chance to try it. The pool area was decent and relaxing; we just wish there had been a jacuzzi to enjoy. We also hoped to use the grill, but the rain had other plans. The Good: My first several visits were excellent. Mwinji's polite and courteous reception at the front desk, and Michael's service at the Bistro for breakfast. The hotel itself has a few, great pros: instant hot water, non-slamming guest room doors, and free parking. Sophia at the front desk is a class act who is an expert at service recovery following a nightmare room I was placed in during my 3rd stay here. The Ugly: During my 3rd stay, I was placed in Room 307, which suffered from severe cleanliness issues (overwhelming use of concentrated air freshener by housekeeping that invaded even the pillows and blanket - causing me to leave coffee bags in two spots to hopefully absorb the smell) and missing basic amenities (desk chair didn't function, missing bath mat/towels, missing room water). Worse, the AC unit was missing buttons, and it never dropped below 71*F (during an insane heatwave, no less). Since the concentrated freshener smell was so overwhelming, I called the front desk at 4am try to switch rooms - but the rude night auditor just dismissed me. Room 307 is what the industry calls a "last-sell room". If I booked a deeply discounted rate through Priceline or Expedia, I'd expect to be placed here - but I booked direct, under a corporate rate. While Sophia moved me to a better room the next day to right the wrong, the follow-up from leadership was disappointing. Italia - the Director of Operations - personally requested I text her the photos of Room 307's condition, but the number she wrote down on her card and handed over to me - wasn't even hers to begin with. Following that odd exchange, I attempted to confirm my standard high-floor/away-from-elevator preferences via the official Marriott Bonvoy app chat for my 5th consecutive weekend booking this past weekend. The hotel completely ghosted the chat for six hours. I eventually called the property directly the Saturday before my arrival to clear up the silence, and spoke with Dmitri at the front desk. Dmitri admitted that there was not a single line of notes or room preferences saved anywhere on my permanent guest profile. Every single promise from Mwinji or Italia to "remember my room preferences" was false promises. Keep in mind, I never asked for a suite. Just the two queen setup that I booked, "high floor/away from elevator". Small ask for someone who is Platinum Elite with Marriott. Checking in on a Sunday at a business park hotel, with half the parking lot empty - nonetheless. After four back-to-back weekend stays here, its disappointing after being handed a dead-end number, ghosted on the app, and discovering your profile is a blank slate. I've stayed at hotels where guest preferences are locked in from my first stay - and remembered in subsequent stays at the same property, year after year - without my need to remind them. I've since cancelled my remaining stays at this property and rebooked them at a different Marriott in the area.

First off let me say the staff here were great, very friendly and accommodating - never had an issue with the staff. However this time there were more noticeable issues with the rooms: damaged air conditioner (didn't work for part of the trip), damaged or broken tables, dirty underneath beds, a door that felt less than secure, peeling paint, etc. that paired with upkeep issues (unkempt pool, pet relief areas not being picked up). There also seemed to be issues with other rooms, two examples 1) A man staying in one of the lower rooms that was constantly smoking both tobacco and marijuana inside and out of the room (door was often open) and loud late into the night (past midnight). 2) A woman who had cats in her room (they were in the window) she was entering / exiting her room as I walked by and THE ODOR of cat urine was SO STRONG I could smell it just passing her room. I would wonder (and highly doubt) they (Motel 6) could remove those odors for the next guests - Cat urine, tobacco, etc very hard smells to get out. The area surrounding the Motel was decent but did seem to have a lot of transients - We ate at Mr.Teriyaki and got donuts at the shop in the same plaza and enjoyed our time - on a previous stay we ate at the Jack in the Box on the corner (currently under remodel) and had food that was on par for JiB. The motel is also a short drive or walk from another plaza with stores and places to eat (Target, Dollar Tree, etc). Closest "theme park" is Knotts - ALMOST walkable. I would MAYBE consider staying here again but this times experience made me think we might consider staying elsewhere.

My kids enjoyed them so much. The hotel room and amenities met my expectation for a hotel. We did have some issue with the hot water in our bathroom. But I was able to call the front desk, and they were able to send someone to fix it the same day so finally, hot water in the shower! I wanted to talk about how AMAZING the shuttle service is. So they provide a complimentary shuttle service to Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm. My kids actually enjoyed the shuttle service and it worked out really well with timing for us to travel to the amusement parks without worrying about driving/parking. They have a phone number you can text to make/cancel reservations, they do require advanced notice for this. Each time, they do send a confirmation text so I know I will be picked up. The shuttle may run on time or a little bit late or even a little early, but overall, it was a good experience with it. We always arrived to the stop early enough so we can board. The shuttle does allow strollers without issue so that is great. I think the biggest perk of this place is the shuttle service. Also, parking at the hotel is easy. There's plenty of parking and they do not charge for parking if we are a hotel guest. They provide a parking pass to use during our stay. In the evening, the spots closer to the hotel are taken but still plenty of parking. This is a great location in Buena Park, it is very close to Portos as well so that's a great bonus!

All I needed was a room to sleep, take showers and this one provided both for me. Plenty of parking and well lit at night, very quiet neighborhood. The room is very clean and well kept. It has small refrigerator and microwave, small TV that works. The AC works extremely cold. The water pressure is strong and hot water comes out quickly. It does have 2 little pouches of shampoo and 2 small soap. Towels are all sizes. So we do need to bring lotion, conditioner, own hair dryer. No ice machine. Plantation shutters have gaps so light would come through at night, you may need eyes shade to sleep if you need total blackout to sleep. The WiFi works very well. For me, the darkness was fine and the bed is much nicer and more supportive than many other hotels I've been to. Definitely to come back here again. BTW, it's a non smoking hotel.
