I didn't want to leave even 1 star. We never even stepped foot into the place. Through Booking.com we booked a room at Scottish Inns in Fort Worth, Texas, with a King-size bed; my credit card was charged. When we got there, we were told that they didn't have a room with a King-size bed, and we were offered another size. I said that they took the money for a product that they didn't have. That is bait and switch. I cancelled and we went to a Super 8 Motel, booked through Orbitz, which actually had a room that we requested; and we stayed there. Since Scottish Inns broke our agreement and we did not use the room, I asked for a refund credited to the credit card used to pay for the reservation. I have reported this to Booking.com, and have not received a refund. read more

This hotel would be nice if they remodeled, got rid of management, sanitized every square inch, exterminate the rats and roaches, have color tv, drain the pool, ( i think i saw couple of turds at the bottom), get their own towels, ( the ones there say Hilton on them), hire english speaking people, invest in vacuum cleaners, use real paint instead of spray cans, oh, don't use the valet, they'll steal your car. Wall was cracked, the tub and bathroom tiles were were cracked, the fire alarm was coming off the roof. Do yourself the favor and go to a Motel 6 where it's actually clean. Check-in person not very fluent in English or Spanish, not very friendly either. I got another room, had to leave a $5 cash deposit for the room key (um, I don't carry cash, I use ATM card everywhere), and there was also a .50 charge for ice machine! Huge roaches, chipped, shattered tile on bathroom floor, making it uneven & a safety hazard. Stinky comforter, which I threw on the floor...measly sheet to use, AC not very cold...at first glance the room was fine. But the roaches and the bed were deal breakers for me. I really wish Yelp could give 0 stars because this hotel is a nightmare. For starters the people who own the place are two rude ass people who for some reason don't have any social skills. The woman was basically yelling at me that the room was $69.30 and I already said okay and she continued to keep saying it when I had heard her before. My card got declined so I had to go back to the car to get cash and when the woman was returning my card and ID, she threw them to me through the hole. As I was leaving the lobby the man decided he wanted to give me a mug look as if I was his worst enemy or something.... the rooms are trash. The rooms smell like nasty cigarettes. Worst experience in my life! Service: It's shocking how over priced this place is. I payed $100 to stay here one horrific night at this motel; and for what we got is not at all worth not even $20. Because the rooms are horrible, customer service is not at all a priority and overall it felt like a huge waste of money. The guy behind the counter looked like a young man that didn't look like he know what he was doing. no direct communication with me and i had to walk all the way to Walgreens just to pull out money because they keep charging me for random services. I left it outside for a few minutes because they gave me an upstairs room when i asked for a downstairs. my boyfriend caught one of the staff members riding my bike. Imagine seeing a complete stranger violate your property by sitting in the same sit that you place your bottom on? I felt so grossed out i purposely left the bike outside in hopes that someone would ether steal it or burn it (someone did ended up taking it... awesome!). Room: gross, gross, gross and gross. Nothing here looked clean at all. It looked like a dinning area for the homeless. Hygiene: stayed bed sheets, stained carpet, graffiti on everything, bathroom look like a public access restroom. The room basically looks like it came from a horror show. Next door neighbors: while me and my boyfriend tried really hard to find something good in the place when all of a sudden we hear a women being beaten right next door to us. Me and my boyfriend heard the women screaming and we heard her getting beaten and shoved and pretty much everything like if we were there in the room with them. It was the single most terrifying experience in my life. We thought someone had beaten her to death. Scare and crying my boyfriend took me to the bathroom and turned off the light and called the police. The women turned out to be a drug addict that was staying in the motel along with many other drug users. My boyfriend didn't sleep that night and we left right when the sun came up because we were to scare to leave to the room. Horrible internet - intermitent at best!, Dirty room, dirty towels, (looked like they were using them to clean floors); however, the floor was dirty and sticky- so who knows? Nonetheless the towels were dirty. When it came time to check out they pounded on the door incessantly yelling something in a foreign language! Vagrants were constantly milling around. Sheriffs Department showed up due to a disturbance! Obviously they have rented the rooms weekly to low class individuals! When returning the key they refused to give us back our cash deposit that they require when renting the room, Because we were a few minutes late checking out. Who does that? Usually there is a customary grace period of a reasonable time. My wife was so sweet to them and apologetic, but all she received in return was an enormous amount of anger and disrespected. This has been the worst place I have ever been. I requested a non-smoking Room, which I did not get. The person checking me in was unfriendly and did not seemed to be interested in anything but to charge me the entire amount for my reservation time (7 days). I was given the choice of 2 rooms to pick and both of them smelled like an old nasty ashtray. There were burn stains on the night stand edges, as well as the bathtub rim. The bath towel were the size of a wash cloth and the 3 nights out of 7 that I could stand, the room was not cleaned once. I checked in on Friday and checked Tuesday morning. I told the guy at the desk that I can't stay there anymore and I want to check out, he offered me another room, but not a refund of the remaining days. The most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. The management tries to rob you blind if you have a pet and make you pay a cash fee, which we did, and when we asked for a receipt he said that he didn't have any paper to write it on. I produced paper and made him write me a receipt, thankfully because after being in the room we decided that we would NOT! be staying the 2nd and 3rd nights. I went down to the office and told them to cancel my other nights and he argued that we would not be getting a refund. My husband went down and had a chat with him and got our pet cash back and 3/4 of or room rental. This place is so darn disgusting. It was Sooo expensive to stay in a roach infested room. First complaint to them was about the TV not working and this is 3min into opening the door to the room. They came in to fix it and looked at me and my friends like we did something to it. We asked about the phone not having a phone cord and they said we needed to give a deposit for it. Third complaint was they said we would have Wi-Fi and guess what our room didn't have a signal for it. Final complaint was the ROACHES crawling all over our stuff, couldn't even sleep with the fear that I was going to be sharing the bed with them. When we checked out we asked if we can get some type of reimbursement for all the inconvenient moments spent there, they just gave us a bad attitude and pretty much told us to get off the property.
