**Run Run Run**If I could give them a zero I would. I was new to the DC area and i was trying to find a new dentist in the area. A coworker recommended Dr.Michael Lamb's practice for a routine cleaning but when I arrived to the location I was disappointed that the facility was old and the equipment was outdated. I proceeded with my check in process because a co-worker who was new to the area as well said she had gone there a couple times. As I checked in the staff wouldn't even acknowledge me and they were very rude and unwelcoming. When I arrived to the appointment I was eating my lunch because I was starving and pregnant. I checked in fine but then 15 minutes into me eating my food Rita and Nikea at the front desk said there was no eating. I advised them that I was almost done eating at that point and asked if I could finish. They said no so I asked if I could eat outside and they said that was fine. After I finished eating I walked back into the office and waited to be called. Trisha called me for my cleaning and asked if I had just ate. I told her yes and I asked her how did she know and she said the front desk staff informed her. She asked me if I would brush my teeth and I said sure. I thought I was going to brush my teeth in the room I was in because there was sink in there but as I approached the sink she asked me to go to the bathroom. I said ok no problem but I didn't realize the bathroom was out of the office and far down the hall. I brushed my teeth and returned back Trisha. Trisha then walked out the room without saying a word and then Katrina walked in the room. Katrina told me that I had to wait in the waiting room and that I had to wait for Dr.Lamb. I asked her why and she said I just have to wait in the waiting room and said she would not give me an explanation. Now I am irritated and confused so I told her that I would wait here for Dr.Lam since the office staff already had me doing so many things for no reason. She told me that I could not do that because they needed to see other patients. I reminded her that I was a patient waiting for Dr.Lamb and I wasn't leaving because she couldn't give me an explanation and informed her that I didn't even get my teeth cleaned yet. I waited for about 30 minutes or so and kept asking where Dr.Lamb was and she kept telling me he was with other patients. I didn't understand how he was with other patients when I had an appointment with him but realized they were just giving me the run around. The staff took up my appointment time with there unreasonable request because the cleaning would of been finished. Katrina then came in and said Dr. Lamb could also call me, I finally decided to leave because I realized everyone was giving me the run around. She said he should call me in next 30 minutes but of course that never happened. I called the office several times that day to try to inform Dr.Lamb of his staffs behavior but he never called me. I continued to call the office throughout the week and they continued to give me the run around. They even had the audacity to ignore my calls and block me. I knew this because I called from other numbers and they answered the phone every time. I am furious that they wasted my time, caused my blood pressure to rise while I am pregnant, made me waste my gas money, and added unnecessary miles on my car. I am also appalled at the atrocious customer service this office had and I am disappointed that for my first visit Dr.Lamb would allow this behavior to occur at his practice. Dr. Lamb also plays a huge part in this because I am sure someone in his office delivered my messages or told him about the situation but he never called me nor had anyone from his office contact me to discuss my concerns. After weeks of trying to get through to someone of authority I finally got in contact with the supervisor by the name of Ms.Wilkinson. She said that they had sent a letter. I advised her that I never received the letter and asked what the letter had to say. She stated that I had to find a new dentist and I was flabbergasted. I said no one even reached out to me so how is that even possible. She said she would resend the letter but couldn't give me any further information. I told her I have never endured this type of behavior from any establishment and let her know I would be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and my insurance company. I told her I wasn't ever returning anyways but I wanted Dr.Lamb to know what type of behavior was occurring in his establishment. Then to make matters worse I received a bill for my co payment for my dentist appointment that never even occurred. That bill will never be paid and I will never return to this office and I don't recommend that anyone ever go here because it is a waste of your time and money. read more
