This is an excellent site because the area population is growing at an exponential rate, much of it stimulated by San Elizario becoming an incorporated city on its own, no longer a subdivision of a larger El Paso suburb. This excellent market has met my every expectation, except I arrived just after the hot deli had closed. No worries, it was easy for me to find sustenance (original borracho jerky, ca big bag of well-popped popcorn, bananas, and unsalted peanuts + imported El Paso Water Utilities water) which super friendly, professional cashier Vanessa checked me through with; it kept my body nourished through the night. Speaking of which, I was able to find extremely good 5-star camping closeby--matching the 5-star San Eli Supermarket/Supermercado. You know it gets my hearty "Wheel of Approval!"
