He ordered a sandwich with some stale bread and a beef with no hot peppers. So naturally he went back in to complain. They did not replace the sandwich give him a sausage for the trouble and whoever is there also stated that the bread is stakel and that they don't have any more bread. If you knew that the bread was still why would you still serve it to people?!!! It's really disappointing because I see good reviews for this place and then this is what we experience.

The store itself looks like a section for groceries and butcher products with a cooking/grilling section on the side where the food is all made fresh. They have a good variety of options for both meatlovers and health conscious eaters. I ended up ordering the greek burger with fries, the avgolemono, chicken skewer and a nice thick piece of spanikopita. All of it was amazing and the tzatziki is one of my favorites. The food was all freshly made, the service was both friendly and helpful, and overall just a great experience. Will definitely be recommending and returning to try more options on their menu. Very happy to have found such a great greek spot since moving from NY.

Whatever you do stay away from the GF bread. It's probably worst I have had and just crumbles when you pick it up. If you need a gluten free bread honestly just stick with jersey mikes. Their normal bread is much better though I just wish it was less bread and more ingredients and more flavor.

Family owned and like many others have stated, they treat you like family. Immediately upon walking in, I was greeted by a butcher who was more than helpful and kind. My husband and I are on a new health journey so I've often times asked MANY questions and he was patient and helpful with every answer. Even with him knowing I didn't have cash and had to leave and come back. Needed some quality burgers and brats for a friend's grilling birthday bash. Picked up beer brats upon recommendation (and a crowd favorite), Mediterranean turkey burgers (super good and I enjoyed them more than my husband did if I'm to be honest), prime rib burgers (currently vacuum sealed in the freezer), skin on hot dogs (best ever), cheddar and jalapeño burger (another fave!), and maybe a couple others I can't recall. Everything so far- fresh and from what I've frozen, has been delicious. We typically shop at Paulina Market so it's been wonderful to find a shop closer at the same level (in our opinion). It is pricey as some have stated but you're paying for what you get. They have an amazing selection of prepared foods as well. Worth stopping in for! Can't wait to restock.

I checked Yelp and ordered from Hofherr Meat based on the stellar reviews. I often peek into Hofherr Meat when walking into Shred415 so was excited to finally try it! About 2 days before I was telling a friend where i got my turkey and she asked me how i plan to cook it. Cook it?? It literally had not occurred to me that my turkey would be raw. If it's not obvious from this review and ALL my restaurant reviews the kitchen is not where I shine. I called Hofherr to ask if they could cook my turkey and while apparently they do that it was too late to put in the request. Good to know for next time. Wednesday morning I joined the rest of the North Shore to pick up my raw turkey. I ran into a friend while waiting for it who is more of an expert when it comes to making turkeys and she asked them to give me gravy, a turkey bag (apparently easier and lessy messy to cook in a bag) and some directions. The next day I followed their directions along with some help from my bestie chatgpt. I stuck it in the oven and crossed my fingers we wouldn't be going without a turkey this thanksgsiving. We had a little mishap when the thermometer melted into the turkey (oops), but besides that it really wasn't too difficult of a process. And while I had trouble eating a turkey after seeing it raw my family was thrilled that it was perfectly moist and praised my turkey making skills. I did have a few bites and did think it was pretty good- and i dont even like turkey. I would definitely get my turkey from here again, although next time i'll be ordering a cooked turkey out of convenience. But for those of you who like to cook a turkey I recommend them!

There were several goat products on display and the quality/ highish pricing could have been ok for halal, but I really don't know. My main feedback, and hopefully the owner/staff take it constructively, is the store lacks customer appeal upon entering. There is not much on display given their shelf space, and there is a lot of unused and open space to the store. The attendant on duty told me they don't display as much and would rather prepare what's of interest to the customer directly from the open-view butcher's stand in the rear of store. As things stand, they could get away with a smaller footprint store for sure. Anyway, just some food for thought, and good luck!
