Great independently owned books store! Ask the owner or staff for recommendations and they will be happy to help!

Huge store with all types of used and new books. I only had time to look in the children's section…read morewhich was huge and decently organized by categories such as (sensory/cause and effect, holidays, popular authors, language, potty training, family). You could spend a good chunk of time browsing through the bins and shelves. It is great that they have a train table in the kids area so they kids can play while you browse the books. I was searching for Lunar New Year books, but couldn't find any. They had a bin for the big holidays like Christmas, Halloween, Easter and a general holiday bin for smaller holidays. The employees were nice and can system search by author/title, but they couldn't do a search by general topic/genre.

The Used Book Superstore in Burlington is my personal money pit -- and honestly, I'm fine with it…read more I've never managed to leave with fewer than ten books, and at this point, I don't even pretend I will. The selection feels endless. Every genre, every niche, and then, just when you think you've seen it all, there's a wall of Blu-rays, DVDs, video games, board games, and random bits of memorabilia you didn't know you wanted until they're already in your basket. The prices are almost insulting to other stores. Seriously, I've paid more for a cup of coffee than I have for some of the books here. You'd almost feel guilty... except you don't, because you're too busy carrying out a stack taller than your torso. The staff is excellent -- actually helpful, not the fake "let me know if you need anything" kind. They've tracked down what I came in looking for, and then somehow convinced me to walk out with three more titles I didn't even know existed. My shelves at home are groaning under the weight of their recommendations, but sure, suggest me another series. Why not. I've been a regular for about a year now, and as long as I live in Massachusetts, this will be one of the few places I actually look forward to throwing money at. You never know what you'll find here, which is exactly why I keep coming back.

When my friend said she wanted to go to this book store on our short trip to Boston, I was lowkey…read moreside eyeing her. But man oh man, I'm glad she made this one of our stops!! Walking up, there's an outdoor section with books for sale that is aesthetically pleasing. We didn't go through the books but I saw sales as low as $5 a book. This book store is one of a kind! There's 3 floors. The stairs to the second floor are beautiful. The top floor has an impressive collection of rare books. We spent 30 minutes just looking through all the titles and oooing and ahhhing at how awesome it would be to own them! This is a book lovers dream and honestly just stop by to see how cool it is!

Brattle! I was so excited to visit this bookshop as a tourist. I made sure it was one of the places…read moreI stopped at while in town. There were so many books, everywhere in the store and outside the store. I didn't find anything outside. I don't think it was anything written in the last 20 years outside. All old or hella old books. Inside, there were old books also but a few newer books. There were so many sections to browse. I also was able to find and purchase a book that was on my TBR. The people at the register were nice and made sure they were ringing everyone up and moving the line along. The prices for the books were ok. I bought a book because I didn't have it and I was here but I'm sure I could have gotten it cheaper at the Goodwill but it's about the experience. I definitely enjoyed the bookshop and the experience.
