My husband and I have been using Lakeview Landscaping for over a year now and have had issues from day one. Like most landscaping companies, We were paying them year round, on a set monthly bill. Then We started receiving bills with a late fee and they kept adding an additional late fee each month even though we were on a "year round" plan. After that issue finally got resolved, my father had heard a loud bang on the house, while they were mowing our lawn. My father went outside to let them know and the guys just shrugged their shoulders and left. After my husband looked the house over, he noticed a hole in the siding and window frame the size of a large rock. It was clear that a rock had got sucked into the lawnmower and then shot out and hit the house. After confronting the owner, he argued that it wasn't his guys. He then continued to call my husband a deadbeat. It's hard to believe that this person calls himself a business owner. In most recent events, the landscapers came by to do their spring cleanup and ended up ripping out a ribbon of lights that was on our lawn. I am currently fighting ovarian cancer and my husband had made, out of rope lights, the Symbol for ovarian cancer. We were surprised that spring cleaning was done at the beginning of March, while we have open arguments against them, and even more surprised that these gentlemen felt that it was ok to remove these lights without contacting us first. You would think that everyone knows what a cancer ribbon looks like. They literally rolled it up in a ball and hung the lights in the tree. My heart literally dropped when I saw this. It has been one headache after another, since we started to use this company and I am happy to say that we are finally done with them. We have found a much better company at a much more reasonable price and couldn't be happier. read more
