The office and entire staff are nice and inviting and knew who I was immediately upon arrival even though it was my first time. I have severe dental anxiety and without even telling her Dr. Accardo put me at ease. I kept waiting for the pain that never happened....even the shots were painless and considering that my root canal was towards the front, anyone knows the shots in the palate hurt the most. Not here! Just a slight pinch and that was it! I'm 53 and I can honestly say that I have never had this type of experience. She even followed up with a text on the weekend to make sure I was doing ok. If you have issues with Dr. Accardo or anyone on the staff...rest assured..it is you..not them. If I could give them 1000 stars I would. Hopefully I won't need another root canal but if I do I will definitely go here! Tell a friend to tell a friend!

I was in the office for exactly 45 minutes!? What?! They are THE BEST. THE BEST! Asked for their super soft toothbrushes and the lady gave me THREE! I was given a bill for $700+ and was told (rudely) that my insurance wouldn't cover the procedure. I contacted my insurer directly and my actual bill amounted to $50. This was only one of many unpleasant interactions with the office. Their manner in dealing with patients over insurance payments, appointments, etc. is so unhelpful and the information provided is full of mistakes. In addition, my new dentist's front office staff mentioned they have had contentious exchanges over obtaining patient records. I understand someone having a bad day, but this is an ongoing problem in their office. I want to believe the managing dentist is not aware of how some of the front office staff treat patients and . If they were aware, I would think they would provide their personnel with training in customer relations. I will not be back.

First I was impressed about a return I got from Gaynell to start my journey getting to see Dr …read more Alongi for a procedure called apicoectomy, basically an infected tip of a root canal to remove infection but my tooth was a crowned tooth, so imagine. Dr Alongi and all his staff was so nice. Dr. Alongi and staff explained every single step of this procedure which made me feel very very comfortable and satisfied. I was just amazed of Dr Alongi talent and skill performing this surgery, I tell you very little pain for me afterwards, just swelling . If you ever need this type of dental work done related to endodontics services , I would recommend NorthLake Endodontics and Microsurgery 100% percent. Dr Alongi knows what he is doing and very knowledgeable about his field. Thank you Northlake!!

I have never been treated any better than at Northlake Endodontics under the direction of Dr. Lauren Vedros. She takes her time to explain all the financial options and possible procedures, so you're informed throughout the entire process. She never tries to rush you out of the chair for the next patient. It's reassuring to know a dentist that puts the patient first. No hidden fees or add-ons. Her entire staff goes overboard in helping you from the receptionist to the dental assistant. Dr Vedros runs a 'first class' dental office. Definitely top shelf without the hassle of other dental clinics. Mark W. Bonner

I was referred here for urgent retreatment of a failed root canal. Before the appointment, my…read morecondition worsened and I ended up in the ER with facial cellulitis, requiring IV antibiotics and a CT scan. By the time I arrived at this office, I was still swollen, still infected, and still on antibiotics. I brought full documentation, imaging, and expected to receive care or at least a clear, urgent plan of treatment. Instead, I was charged $185 for a "consultation" (without being told in advance it was consult-only), was told no treatment could be done that day, and that the earliest they could see me was July 29 -- more than two weeks later. When I asked if someone else in the practice could see me sooner, I was told that would require paying for another consultation. When I asked what I was supposed to do with a still-swollen face and active infection, I was casually told, "You should be okay on antibiotics." I left feeling dismissed, overcharged, and worse than when I walked in. I've since found another endodontist who is taking my insurance and will perform the necessary retreatment immediately. This office showed zero urgency or compassion, despite clear documentation of a medical emergency. I would strongly caution others about trusting this practice for any time-sensitive or infection-related care. Patients deserve transparency, respect, and actual care -- not just billing.

But, it has been 2 weeks now, and it's apparent damage to my gums from the dental dam occurred, and I'm actually in more pain. To top that off, my insurance was maxed because when I called and asked about my insurance, they said it was accepted, but failed to inform me that only the Gulfport location is considered in network, and not Slidell. Therefore, my work ended up costing twice as much as it would have had I seen him in Gulfport, as well as maxing out my dental plan for the year! Front desk is nice, but I wish they would have informed me of the out of network before the procedure, but I guess my bad for not being more specific when I asked if they took my insurance, but why else would someone ask that question. So, now I get to find out how to get rid of the pain yet again, along with doing it on my own since their staff failed to properly inform me. I believe it's extremely unethical to not be provided a pre-treatment estimate, which would have alerted me to out-of-network status. Additionally, I was not given after-care instructions, as the endodontist stated the front desk would provide. Worst experience with front desk staff I've ever experienced. I will NEVER come here again!
