Referred to Dr. Regine Dyer by my dentist for extreme pain related to cold hitting my teeth. My…read moredentist thought it was one tooth, when in fact it was 2 or 3 of the other teeth situated around the tooth in question. Over the course of 6 months, I have met with Dr. Dyer three times, and each time I am impressed with the professional yet personal interactions I have had with her and her staff. Everyone is friendly, the front staff is efficient in check in, and the technicians and assistants can carry on a conversation in between procedures. (I believe it's called "able to talk to a wall," but that sounds derogatory; they are able to relate to people is a better description.) Dr. Dyer is no nonsense but believes in educating her patients. I always leave knowing more than I did before and feeling like all of my options have been placed before me. I have not once felt as if I am being pressured into root canals or procedures, and I am kept in the loop on the status and care of my teeth - not just the "problem teeth." Dr. Dyer works by referral only. It is worth the time to get a referral to see her. Being treated like a human being and not just a source of income is priceless.

I have severe dental anxiety and without even telling her Dr. Accardo put me at ease. I kept waiting for the pain that never happened....even the shots were painless and considering that my root canal was towards the front, anyone knows the shots in the palate hurt the most. Not here! Just a slight pinch and that was it! I'm 53 and I can honestly say that I have never had this type of experience. She even followed up with a text on the weekend to make sure I was doing ok. If you have issues with Dr. Accardo or anyone on the staff...rest assured..it is you..not them. If I could give them 1000 stars I would. Posting here because the review I put on google was deleted…read more I arrived in Sept 29, 2026 and was having no issues until they did the x-ray. The bite device was way too big for my mouth. I told the technician I wasn't able to do it and requested a smaller bite device. I was advised they had nothing smaller and said something about discomfort. I replied that it had nothing to do with discomfort and everything to do with my gag reflex and not wanting to vomit all over her. I had already noted these issues in the paperwork. I had already told the technician about the anxiety over the gag reflex. I can deal with some discomfort. I can not deal with gagging. Brushing my teeth can make me throw up. The technician went to get the doctor, who was absolutely lovely. I asked the doctor about the pediatric bite device and was told they use this one for pediatrics as well. I replied, "Ah, I think I'm going to have to go somewhere else then." I wasn't being snarky or aggressive in any way. It was more of a, "I'm realizing this isn't the place for me," kind of way. The technician asked, "Didn't you come here a few years ago and get xrays? Yes. Yes I did. Just because I was able to force myself to do something 4 years ago doesn't mean I can do that now. I advised them both that I wouldn't be able to do it. The doctor left and I assumed she was telling the front desk what I needed to check out. Suddenly another woman who didn't bother to introduce herself, walked in and started putting my chair down without saying a word to me. Mind you, this is after I had already advised both the doctor and technician that I wouldn't be able to do it. I thought I was waiting for them to clear me to go check out. So I asked her what she's doing and she said trying to make me "more comfortable " so she could try something else. I told her, "I didn't ask you to do that." And she argued with me. I told her, "You didn't introduce yourself and you moved the chair without warning me." Then I said, "What do you mean try something else? I was already advised you had nothing else to offer me." She said, "This isn't the place for you." I already knew that! Like, what? So I got up to leave, went to the front desk and asked if I needed to do anything to check out. This woman waved me away like she was swatting at a flying insect and said, "You can go." I spoke up again and told her she was being rude. I explainedagain why what she did wasn't OK. She said, "Well, I'm sorry," in a very sarcastic manner and I called her rude again. She then very sarcastically told me to have a great day. I told her to have the day she deserves. And she replied that her day is going to be great with me gone. ********* I disclosed my issues up front and ended up being treated extremely poorly by who I can only assume to be the office manager. They have no instruments to accommodate smaller paletes. Thankfully, I was able to get an emergency appointment with Dr. Morgan from All Smiles today and was taken care of brilliantly by her entire team. The difference in treatment was beyond shocking.

So...when they told me that I probably had to get a former root canal checked out last year, those fears bubbled back up. When I was younger I had a rushed root canal by a dentist long forgotten (what am I saying, he haunts my dreams). It was supposed to be a routine cavity removal...Alas, it was not. Nearly 20 years later, an X ray at my current dentist confirmed that this root canal would have to be re-root-canaled or I could lose my tooth. Dun dun dun! I'm not going to bore you with all the details of the nearly 8 months of initial visits, follow-ups, and re-checks. Dr. Ardalan and his staff are incredibly nice and have great chair-side manner. They were upfront about costs with my insurance and they followed up after my appointment with suggestions on what to take for the pain. While my only suggestion would be headphones during the serious drilling sessions (lawd, that's really the worst part is the sound), one of the assistants sang to me, and I wanted to remember her name to mention her. Lucky me, there is a writeup about this soulful siren on their site. So thank you, Cerissa, for making me feel as chill as possible. This process is not pretty, nor is it fun. But after dealing with a wonky tooth and not knowing what was wrong, I appreciate this team and Dr. Ardalan for fixing me up.

I was referred here for urgent retreatment of a failed root canal. Before the appointment, my…read morecondition worsened and I ended up in the ER with facial cellulitis, requiring IV antibiotics and a CT scan. By the time I arrived at this office, I was still swollen, still infected, and still on antibiotics. I brought full documentation, imaging, and expected to receive care or at least a clear, urgent plan of treatment. Instead, I was charged $185 for a "consultation" (without being told in advance it was consult-only), was told no treatment could be done that day, and that the earliest they could see me was July 29 -- more than two weeks later. When I asked if someone else in the practice could see me sooner, I was told that would require paying for another consultation. When I asked what I was supposed to do with a still-swollen face and active infection, I was casually told, "You should be okay on antibiotics." I left feeling dismissed, overcharged, and worse than when I walked in. I've since found another endodontist who is taking my insurance and will perform the necessary retreatment immediately. This office showed zero urgency or compassion, despite clear documentation of a medical emergency. I would strongly caution others about trusting this practice for any time-sensitive or infection-related care. Patients deserve transparency, respect, and actual care -- not just billing.

Well, after initial x-rays, Catherine came in and told me very sweetly that I had three roots on this tooth, and they were all three very, very long." BUT...can I tell you this: throughout the entire procedure, I had NO PAIN WHATSOEVER! In fact, I was so relaxed that, at one point, I fell asleep in the chair. Catherine was great. She is an amazing woman, an amazing endodontist. In the one long visit, I could see her gentle confidence, her deep faith, her grace toward her employees, and the loving respect she has for her husband and family. Except that I feel like I'm driving off the ends of the earth...or just into the wilds of the westbank, the office is fine. It's in a slightly run down early 80s era medical office building near the old Meadowcrest Hospital (now Ochsner Westbank - who knew). But the inside of their suite is all high tech equipment and basic but clean furnishings. I know I'm a nerd but I love seeing my instant xrays on their big computer screens which instantly demonstrate the changes they have made to my tooth. And I love how fast they are. Seriously from numb to done was just about an hour; my regular dentist would have taken 4 hours to do this at her shop. That's why it pays to go to the experts.
