Very friendly staff. We were kindly greeted at the reception desk. Then it wasn't long till I was called back. The dental hygienist was also very kind and thorough at cleaning my teeth. Then Dr Roby came in to do his check and he was also very kind. Very happy with my dentist decision!

Dr. Kent Roby is the best dentist! I went a few days earlier to Canatella for a routine teeth cleaning. I was told that a filling I had gotten when I was much younger was failing (that was giving me ZERO problems) and that they wanted to create a custom replacement for over $1,200.00. They sent a free x-ray coupon that I brought, I guess they had to make that x-ray money back somehow. After telling them I'd need to think about it and paying a copay close to a $70 (though I have delta dental) I left feeling quite ripped off. I called a coworker for a referral and she told me about Dr. Roby. I called and was able to set an appointment with Dr. Roby the same week. I showed up apprehensive, as most people do when dealing with the dentist. This quickly subsided when I started talking to his staff. I told them what had happened with my previous dental experience and what they wanted to do. Dr. Roby took a look into my mouth and said what they wanted to do seemed to be completely cosmetic. I did have a small issue that needed to be fixed, but it would be relatively quick. Twenty minutes later I walked out of Dr. Roby's office quite impressed, happy, and with a numb mouth. Best off, my copay dropped to $25! The icing on the cake came a few weeks later when I felt, what I though was, sensitivity on tooth he worked on during my previous visit . They scheduled me for an appointment and I came in for another visit. Dr. Roby checked the tooth and it was actually the tooth in front of the one previously worked on. He then added some desensitizing gel to the tooth and did a little work to remove the sensitivity. When I was going to pay my copay, he yelled no charge!. He did this even though it was a different tooth! Dr. Kent Roby is a great dentist who makes his patients comfortable and at ease in a place most people wouldn't be familiar with those words. His staff are super friendly and very helpful. I will refer anyone who ask me to Dr. Roby!

I took my 1 year old here for his first cleaning and they took us both and took care of us. I highly recommend Dr. Williams. They do not sugarcoat information and they actually take the time to explain what's going on and the importance of your dollar going where it needs to.

I went to Dr.Stennis practice for a routine cleaning but they mentioned that I needed a deep cleaning. So they billed my insurance 2K and I paid an additional $200+ copay. They told me my follow up visits would not require another copay. That was untrue. I returned a month later and they asked me for an additional $150+ copay. I told them I wanted my records and I went to another dentist who checked my trays. She said my tartar build up was light and that only 3 quadrant of my mouth may have needed the deep cleaning. Dr.Stennis office seems to up-charge quite a bit. Louisiana Dental Center charged me $28 copay for my perio maintenance. That was not the case for this practice. This practice just seems to want you for the money. Avoid.

This business was highly recommended for patients with special needs. My severely mentally disabled…read morebrother uses this office because of how hard it is to locate a dentist that accepts Medicaid and Medicare In this area. The wait time every time has been hours despite having an appointment. Today his State appointed staff was denied access to him during his visit, even after being advised of the state authorization and requirement for his presence due to my brother's volatile mood disorder from stress and his TBI disability. He went in for a simple cleaning, which should only have taken and hour or two. His appointment was at 10 am, he arrive just before 9:30 am. The office manager stated to Billy's staff he changed his appointment to 11 because the dentist hadn't gotten there yet. At 11, he was sent to a room alone, without his staff. They gave him a protein shake without prior approval or clarification of any impact it might have on him, due to allergy or dietary restrictions. When I called to get information, the office staff refused to take my information or a message for the dentist to contact me. They were rude, unprofessional, and outright disrespectful to me. On multiple occasions, I asked Edwin why was he talking to me this way when I was not being combative, or rude. The reception staff in this office continued to be this way to my brother's staff and deny him access to my brother. I was advised by Edwin, the office took it upon themselves to do a root canal, and crown after the cleaning of my brother's teeth. This decision was made without consulting with me, his power of attorney, or his state-appointed staff, they actively denied my brother access too. That same decision caused him to miss his lunch at 1:30 which enables him to take his prescribed medications, which aqqre to be taken at 3 pm. I was told if I had questions instead of calling I should have been there with him instead of his state-appointed staff. I arrived at the location at 4 pm. At 4:30 pm, my mentally disabled brother was still actively being worked on, which is 5.5 hrs after he was sat down in the chair for initially what was a cleaning. After speaking with the dentist, and giving the dental staff his actual dietary restrictions, his allergies (which resulted in a different prescription being issued, and the first one destroyed in front of us. we were actually then able to discuss the absurd time frame, and her office staff (specifically Edwin- the office manager, and the unknown receptionist). I was assured that this would not happen again. I have recordings of how unprofessional, and ignorant of the law for the infirmed this offices staff are. Edwin - The Office Manager- stated "Hippa prevents parents or state caretakers from accompanying patients to the back." I don't recommend going to this business if Edwin is still in charge of how this office is operated. His lack of concern for the comfort, health, and protection of the patients seen, is alarming at best. The DENTIST Dr. Tracy Crear, was very friendly, but did nothing to explain, nor was she overly concerned with the 6 hrs they had a disabled patient in their chair with his mouth open for so long, the way her staff had behaved, or the fact that the Police had to be called to get any kind of accountability to secure the safety of this disabled person. She was not concerned with the lack of breaks for food needed because apparently, a shake was enough for a pre-diabetic. Despite my brother bringing his medication with him for them to document, which they didn't even look at it until I pointed out that his meds had changed since the last visit and they needed to be sure any of the prescriptions they gave wouldn't adversely react with his daily meds, and still he was denied access to even that. To say this was a disastrous dental visit because of poor communication by office staff is an epic understatement. The dentist wasn't even aware of half of the issues she had because she was too physically busy to even consider the additional care that should be given to the mentally disabled's physical needs. I think this Dentist simply relied on poor office staff and they failed her. She has a good attitude, tons of years of dental experience, and seems to want to do what's right. Her office manager and receptionists however are in severe need of legal, and customer service training.

Worst dentist experience, preys on poor folks and makes them wait for 2 hours plus to be seen…read more Receptionist were rude when I asked why its taking so long. Then they spam text me about their cancellation fees after I had already said I won't be back and not to call me about follow ups anymore. Please avoid this place, especially if you have a job that requires you to come back to work after dental appointments. This place is unprofessional and not worth the headaches of waiting forever to be seen, being over charged for mediocre work and then getting spammed with follow up requests.
