It's taken me ages to get the courage to go back to any dentist. But today I went back to Dr.Campo & he'll be my dentist forever. He's thorough, explained everything to me, gentle as could be & knows what he's doing. I trust him completely. And as for his STAFF... he's lucky to have every single one working for him. Sophia, Katherine & Amanda were so incredibly helpful & it's clear they love working together. So friendly, lots of fun to talk to & that makes me know I'm in the best of hands there. Miss Katherine is Dr.Campo's assistant. She did a scan & X-Rays & asked me as she was doing them if I was ok. Now that may not be important to you but to me it meant a lot. So,Miss Katherine,,, thank you! Thank you to everyone there. No trauma anymore thanks to y'all. I'll be back soon!!

They don't try to nickel and dime you by suggesting unnecessary services. Instead, they keep a watch on things that may eventually become an issue. The woman upfront said my daughter had to be honest about how long it's been. And that if she wanted to be seen, she would have to pay for her x-rays out of pocket. I wasn't asked about x-rays over the phone. And it wasn't like my daughter was lying about anything. Her insurance pays for x-rays yearly, and we didn't know that. My daughter said she's thinking about staying with her old dentist, because she doesn't like being accused of lying.

I went in for a filling and during the procedure as the dentist was talking to the hygienist he…read moreburnt my lip with the laser. I jerked my head back and they went silent so he clearly noticed. It hurt a bit but I was numbed and didn't think much of it. When I got in the car I saw it turned into a noticeable blister and was getting more painful. I decided to politely ask what I could do to speed up the healing process and instead of giving me real advice the dentist implied that it was a cold sore! At this point I'm frustrated because the dentist is denying responsibility and because I now have to go into my customer facing job with a painful blister on my lip. He eventually admits to it and admits noticing it during the procedure, but assures me it won't leave a burn mark (it did) and that I wouldn't be charged for the previous dental cleaning (I was). I have been a long time patient and this comes after dealing with some strange scheduling and billing practices as of late. I would avoid at all costs!

The rest of the practice staff (I didn't catch all their names) were also all very caring and kind, doing their utmost to explain everything as clearly as possible and guide me through the process. I wholeheartedly recommend The Garden Dentist, Dr. Hayley Line, and everyone working there to anyone looking for a good, reliable dentist in New Orleans. Thank you, Garden Dentist. The front desk staff was friendly, professional, and efficient -- scheduling was simple, and I never felt rushed or like "just another patient." The office itself is spotless, modern, and very well organized. You can tell they take pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. That alone goes a long way in a dental setting. As for the actual dental care -- outstanding. My dentist took the time to explain everything clearly before starting any work. I really appreciated that nothing felt rushed or pressured. They walked me through my options, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and made sure I understood what was happening and why. That level of communication builds trust, and it made a big difference for me. During the procedure, they were gentle, attentive, and constantly checking to make sure I was comfortable. I've had dental visits in the past that left me anxious, but this was completely different. It was genuinely one of the most comfortable dental experiences I've had. What really stands out is the professionalism and integrity of the practice. I never felt upsold or pushed into unnecessary treatments. Everything recommended made sense and was explained logically. If you're looking for a dentist who is skilled, honest, patient-focused, and runs a well-managed office, I highly recommend this practice. It's rare to find healthcare providers who combine expertise with genuine care -- and this team absolutely does that. Five stars without hesitation.

The crown was not sized for me. Dentist in Texas (I had to leave the state for care) said it was a high bite that could have easily been fixed. However months of GNO Dental refusing to fix their mistake caused the damage to continue and required immediate surgical removal of the tooth. And treatment for a serious infection. Not to mention all the pain I went through. All because i didn't go to high school here. I couldn't believe they asked me this. It's a test to decide if they want to help you or hurt you. So hateful! I was shocked that they left me waiting over an hour past my appointment time to accommodate other "local" patients arriving after me. I now wish that had been all they did. Unfortunately their hate went beyond that to doing careless work with no concern for my health. I can't stress enough that anyone that moved here and doesn't pass the "high school test" should stay away. They clearly don't care about patients from "elsewhere".
