Now, let me just say that this place is great! Dr. Tripp has a very modernized experience in store for his patients. You walk in and check-in on an IPad which takes about 10 seconds to do. I waited less than 5 minutes to be taken to the back to start my appointment. I was completely caught off guard when the chair started massaging my back as I was serviced...Yes, you read correctly...Dental care meets massage parlor! He also has digital TV in the treatment rooms to help you feel at home. From the check-in to check-out, I felt comfortable and welcome. The staff is genuine and all-around nice. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and smiling. They truly seem to enjoy what they do here and it shows. One of the most impressive perks about this place is the hours of business. It is very accommodating for the working folks that get off at 5pm; when most other dentists are closing, Dr. Tripp' office is open for business until 7pm, where it gets its name from. Dr. Tripp is very thorough and knowledgable. He explained everything in great detail and showed me pictures on an iPad that showed the procedures that I would possibly need in the future. I came today for a cleaning and new patient exam... His cleaning skills are on point! He even cleaned under the gum line, which some dentists neglect to do. Overall, I love this place. I will be back for a root canal in a few weeks and will update about that experience as well.

From the very first phone call to the intake and exam, Dr. Tripp and his entire staff were patient, kind, and reassuring. They never made me feel embarrassed about how long it had been, which meant more than they probably realize. The office itself is beautiful and comfortable, which helped calm my nerves right away. Dr. Tripp took time to explain my treatment plan clearly, in plain English, without talking down to me. I left feeling informed, respected, and actually okay about coming back, which is huge for someone like me. If you're someone who's been putting off the dentist out of fear, this is the place to go. They truly care, and it shows.

I am fortunate not to have had many issues in this arena, but Dr Boudreaux and his fantastic staff have always taken great care of me. An anecdote: back in the 1990's, I was flying to Europe when a painful abcess in my gums evinced itself. While a big fan of Euro-style socialized medicine, I was understandably leery of their less than glamorous track record in the field of dentistry, so I waited to address the situation until I returned to our brighter-smiled shores. Dr Boudreaux took a look, said he would take care of it and 20 minutes later said "your root canal is done". All my life, "root canal" was an analog for agony, but I didn't feel a thing nor even know I was getting one. I don't know if there is a business or individual I recommend more heartily than Lakeview Dental Center and Dr. Boudreaux.

I explained to her about the sensitivity, and how I have other fillings from other dentist & it never fell, this isn't on me so why would I have to pay again. Sent to her as a referral for extreme sensitivity to everything for a tooth. Dr Dyer examined all the teeth in the area and ultimately found the tooth the dentist thought was the problem was not. X-rays showed a previously sloppy root canal, but nothing that had to be fixed. I left her office with a tube of very strong sensitivity toothpaste and told to use it every day and sleep in it. The goal: control the sensitivity to avoid a root canal. Two follow up visits and continued use of the toothpaste has helped. She advised I have a bite issue which has caused microscopic cracks in the enamel of my teeth causing the sensitivity, and if I really wanted the bite fixed, I could see a prosthodontist. Wow, who knew? My other option is veneers, but she did not push this. And to totally round out this review: On a couple of occasions a hygienist was doing something else for Dr Dyer, but she still proceeded to do the exam without assistance. She's time sensitive and I like it! The staff is very friendly and efficient. Rarely if ever have a waited past my appointment time. The reception area has plenty of comfortable seating and light.
