*queues dramatic music*…read more I hadn't been to the dentist in years -- too embarrassed to admit just how many here, but I absolutely did not want to go. So much so, that after the initial consultation and recommendation for a deep clean, I told my husband I wanted to look elsewhere, felt like the team was trying to up-sell us or something. The staff here not only followed up with us, but made sure our insurance would cover the deep clean before we even had to ask about that. Still apprehensive, I went through with the first side of the deep clean and can't say enough about what a wonderful experience I had. I'm even looking forward to the second side and regular cleanings! This is the place to go no matter your dental issue. This krewe will be happy to help and make sure you're smiling before you leave!

Dr. Morgan is massively competent, knowledgeable about all the most up-to-date techniques and technology. She gave me the best tip ever to mitigate my strong gag reflex that has worked like a charm. That tidbit earned her my eternal gratitude. The wonderful people aren't the only great thing about Metairie Dental Centre. Since the facility's renovation several years ago, the waiting room is spacious and comfortable, with complimentary coffee and calming décor. The exam rooms are also more spacious and have TVs attached to the ceiling for patients to watch during their procedures. Everything looks so nice, like the reveal from an HGTV show. The piéce de resistance is the charming powder room. It features a glorious mural of a moody swamp scene painted by the practice owner Dr. Murphy's high school-age daughter.
