Despite my embarrassing and lengthy avoidance of dental care, all saff exhibited nothing but kindness and understanding toward me. During each procedure, the team explained what they were doing, managing my expectations extremely well. They work well together as colleagues in a nurturing environment are able to do. They were very considerate of any pain, checking in frequently to ensure everything went as comfortably as possible. Dr. Morgan is massively competent, knowledgeable about all the most up-to-date techniques and technology. She gave me the best tip ever to mitigate my strong gag reflex that has worked like a charm. That tidbit earned her my eternal gratitude. The wonderful people aren't the only great thing about Metairie Dental Centre. Since the facility's renovation several years ago, the waiting room is spacious and comfortable, with complimentary coffee and calming décor. The exam rooms are also more spacious and have TVs attached to the ceiling for patients to watch during their procedures. Everything looks so nice, like the reveal from an HGTV show. The piéce de resistance is the charming powder room. It features a glorious mural of a moody swamp scene painted by the practice owner Dr. Murphy's high school-age daughter. It's a magical place to relieve oneself. Like I said, there are so many reasons to recommend Metairie Dental Centre. These are but a few. Go discover the rest for yourself.

Well last night I flossed like I always do and the filling came out. Now that side of my mouth hurts and I tell that to the receptionist and she said he won't be available til Monday. I ask will it be covered and she said since they have to do it over I would have to pay again. I explained to her about the sensitivity, and how I have other fillings from other dentist & it never fell, this isn't on me so why would I have to pay again. She cut me off saying she can't help me & she has to ask the doctor. I asked her , her name and she hung up on me. I called again and she answered and hung up.

Brown Family Orthodontics should be avoided. We enjoyed our time there at first. Our orthodontist…read morethen left for some reason, and we ended up with the original Dr. Brown. He hid a terrible job and caused issues twice for my son where brackets broke off. One time he even accidentally swallowed it. We had never had any issues before this. My son kept telling Dr. Brown that he had not put the brackets on correctly, but he ignored him, which led to us having to deal with the broken brackets. My son told us he hated going to the new orthodontist and that he wanted to find a different orthodontist. At this point, we decided to transfer services to a different orthodontist. As a final example of sterling customer service, they decided to not refund us the correct amount of money because he was a few months over their original treatment timeline. Maybe if they didn't lose orthodontists and have substandard replacements, we would have been on schedule. So, overall, if you want to have money stolen from you and get broken brackets, then please go to Brown Orthodontics.

I admire Dr. Scaffidi for his warm, professional demeanor as well as his years of experience perfecting the smiles of the young and old(er) alike. His staff is filled with positive, hard workers and they really seem to enjoy what they do and care about their patients. My daughter definitely needed braces and I heard good things about Dr. Scaffidi. We scheduled the initial visit and was so impressed by everything that I started thinking about my former braces experience and how much my own teeth had moved. Long story shorter, my daughter is in the last visits of her braces. While I have already had my own (second set) of braces removed. :) This time I had clear brackets (people didn't always notice my braces), my teeth are looking amazing and I am not dealing with jaw pain - maybe because my bite has changed? The retainer is only worn at night and acts almost like a night guard and will show if I am grinding my teeth while I sleep.
