If you have a child with special needs, you're better off home schooling your child, and then sending them here. I the special-needs classroom aids have no training they watch a video and that's it in The training has nothing to do with dealing with special needs children. They are not properly trained lifting student who are wheelchair bound, changing diapers, handling special needs children emotions sensory needs. You have to check your Child after school every day to make sure that none of these staff members have put bruises or scratches on your child. your child will get 10 minutes of English and 10 minutes of math, and the rest of the day is a free-for-all. Are the special-needs class, but as a parent, you have to give a month notice to be able to sit in the classroom with your child . The principal Kelly Gilbert is an idiot any problems that occur she tries to sweep under the rug. She will not hold her aids accountable for doing anything wrong. She'll make you as a parent feel like you're crazy she needs to be fired or needs to be re-trained, and not be a principal. Gen Ed is just as bad. These poor kids are being taught things, and when you ask them what they've learned at school, they tell you they don't know, and the playground babysitters are bullies and make the kids walk laps or sit down during their recess and lunch because they are kids and they are loud and they mess around and play around after sitting in class for hours.

Disruptive students aren't being held accountable for their actions and are allow back in class to continue harassing students AND teachers. God forbid your student try to defend themselves; they will demonize the victim. The principal high turnover rate is cause for concern and paints a picture as to how trash this "school" is. Why can't Lemon Crest retain a principal? Protect your child/ren by NOT enrolling them there!!!

We started with daycare services a couple days a week with the bonus of socialization for our little one. We continued attendance at the school for Early Admissions Kindergarten, Kindergarten and currently now have continued for elementary grades. Our daughter has flourished in the school's Montessori setting. All teachers have been warm and cheerful. They work extremely hard to create exciting and academic appropriate lessons for all levels of learning. Communication is excellent and I can easily access teachers for questions. The Montessori learning approach meets learners where they are and builds upon their strengths. Students are able to move at a learning pace that is flexible and not lock step. . . meaning students can advance into new learning content standards when ready. Students are not held back and can excel. The director Ms. George is one of the best teachers I have ever met. Her heart is big and she is dedicated to the success of the school and the learning of all students!! I cannot recommend this school enough!

Nor did she tell us. Parents found out when the state removed the teacher from the classroom, in person. Sandra, "Sandy," hid this on purpose, then had a yard sale to cover the fines. Not disclosing what the sale was actually for. This school is cheap in cost and integrity. I would not advise any child to go here. The abuser of my child was seen on that campus less than a week ago. She's not supposed to be there.
