I the special-needs classroom aids have no training they watch a video and that's it in The training has nothing to do with dealing with special needs children. They are not properly trained lifting student who are wheelchair bound, changing diapers, handling special needs children emotions sensory needs. You have to check your Child after school every day to make sure that none of these staff members have put bruises or scratches on your child. your child will get 10 minutes of English and 10 minutes of math, and the rest of the day is a free-for-all. Are the special-needs class, but as a parent, you have to give a month notice to be able to sit in the classroom with your child . The principal Kelly Gilbert is an idiot any problems that occur she tries to sweep under the rug. She will not hold her aids accountable for doing anything wrong. She'll make you as a parent feel like you're crazy she needs to be fired or needs to be re-trained, and not be a principal. Gen Ed is just as bad. These poor kids are being taught things, and when you ask them what they've learned at school, they tell you they don't know, and the playground babysitters are bullies and make the kids walk laps or sit down during their recess and lunch because they are kids and they are loud and they mess around and play around after sitting in class for hours.

Presently, both my kids attend here, and are not only loving the language program, but thriving!! I now have a 2nd and 5th grader! They are both reading, writing and speaking in Mandarin like its their second language!! The cultural enrichment has also been wonderful. Multiple performances at the school campus and around the community. My son learned how to play the Chinese yoyo, do kung-fu, and experience native chinese foods during cultural holiday celebrations.
