Coin machine takes $1s, $5s, and $10s. *All staff seem to be friendly and are consistently smiling. That was a pleasant surprise to me. *TVs are nice, large flat screens. One has a Spanish channel, one currently is set to the SyFy Channel. Volume levels are excellent! Couldn't be better. *Washing machines and dryers appear well maintained. Very easy to figure out and use. Very speedy. *Detergent can be purchased, though I'm not sure of the prices. Considering the value of this place thus far, I'd be very surprised if the price were even moderately unreasonable. *Vending machines on site - well maintained. *Folding tables (x4) at the front of the store. One has almost been constantly used by employees to fold laundry for customers. The other three have remained open for at least the past 2 hours. *Standard metal laundry push-carts on site. One of the owners encouraged me to put my laundry in it as soon as I walked in the door. Very friendly. *Free WiFi (look for the pw at the desk/window after you walk in. Really impressed. Why anyone would go to this dump is beyond me. The people that work there are about 110 years old, they move like sloths on Ambien, and the one Korean woman that works there is absolutely the rudest woman I've ever encountered. The last straw is when they closed early one night, essentially holding my damn bed comforter hostage for the night. When I confronted the "nice little Korean lady" about closing time the next day, it went sideways real fast. Needless to say. I won't be giving these rude bastards another dime of my money. Additionally, the dryers don't dry, and the place is always in disarray the few times I've visited. In conclusion, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, unless getting cursed out in Korean is your particular fetish. read more

This is for the laundry by the pound/drop off service...Our washer broke just before the weekend and we couldn't get anyone out to look at it until the following Monday. My wife and I took 3 bags (the equivalent of 5 loads) to Lakeside Friday night and it was ready Tuesday evening. Everything was folded waaaay better than anyone in my house can do it and the pants and button down shirts were given to me on hangars...all for $38. If I didn't need laundry as an excuse to stay home and watch football on Sundays, I'd have a hard time not doing this every week! read more

When the washer died a while back, I visited here a few times. They were right on my way to work, so I left an hour early. Staff was always wonderfully friendly, even in the early hours of the morning, meeting me at the door with a wheeled cart. I'd use two machines at a time, catch up on my podcasts, drink my coffee, and then head to work with one chore crossed off my list. Now my mom lives in a senior residence nearby and the competition for the laundry facilities there is like "Lord of the Flies". I think I'm gonna start bringing her laundry here. I upgraded from a Queen to King. My baby did a blowout on my covers so I had to wash them ASAP! The staff inside the wash was super friendly and helpful! I have never been to a laundromat and this one was the closest laundromat with the best reviews. The staff were very helpful. Plus, theres wi-fi. Using the huge washing machine cost $5.75. Dryer i'm not sure yet... my clothes are still washing at the moment. Clean facility as well. Sitting in the corner with my laptop and listening to my music. My mom had to have some winter blankets washed and our washer/dryer were too small. I found this laundromat after a yelp search and they really deserve their rating. As soon as we pulled up to the curbside, a woman (Rita) came out with a cart for the blankets and helped my mom to 3 washers. My mom told her it was her first visit and Rita took care of everything! She set up each washer and after the cycles were complete, she came by to help us with the dryers. She helped my mom fold the blankets and place them into cases ($2/case), which my mom purchased for easy storing. It was so clean and the people who work there are very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back here in the future! read more

This is the worst laundromat I have ever been to! Their prices are Ridiculously higher than other laundromats in the area within a 15 minute drive. The staff speak little to NO English and the people in the laundromat are rude, nasty and so territorial you would think that they own the washing machines and dryers that they were using. Also someone stole my clothes out of my washing machine right as it stopped when I went to get more quarters for the dryer and when I ran to the service window and started complaining about it, miraculously my clothes appeared in the machine again! This place is filled with all types of uncivilized people! In addition, I was yelled at and cussed out by an irate customer whom I had never met, never spoken to and never seen before simply because I was using five washers all in one row at the same time. Not to mention, the staff did an attitude, one two switch when they realized I was going to wash my own clothes and Not use their wash & fold laundry service, which I noted was very unsanitary. The staff doing the wash & fold service used the same carts that the dirty clothes were hauled in with, to put clean clothes in and even dropped clean clothes on the floor and did not rewash them and even folded the clothes without gloves on! And oh how awful the parking lot is! It is so small and crowded you have to hope that your car door doesn't get all dinged and smashed up while you are washing your clothes! I will never ever go to this laundromat ever again and for anyone Else's sake or safety I wouldn't suggest that they do either. read more

A year ago I vowed not to go back to this establishment after a drying machine that should have been labeled "out of order torn almost every article of clothes I had put in. I had rips and holes in all of my garments. I should have known something was wrong when I came back from my car to see one of the workers closing up my machine. But I ask him if everything was alright and he replied yes, so I took it as that. When I got home and proceeded to fold my clothes I noticed rips and tears on all garments including pillow cases. When I went back I was treated like a fly told that all the machines are in order but if I need to speAk with anyone to come back when the manager was around. I called the manager sent pictures and filled out a complaint form. I was not called back once. When I finally did talk to the manger while I caught him there one day as he was doing maintenance he told me there was nothing he could do for me and threaten to call the police if I didn't leave. Me being a back female, I was highly offended because I choose to invest into this business for my laundry service. I talk with good etiquettes and never have been told that I come across aggressive or violent so I'm just not sure why before offering a simple apology I was confronted with the option of calling law enforcement. I left after he said that and til this day I regret not taking further action after I lost a whole basket full of garments and was shown not even a simple sign of empathy but just treated like a criminal. Never again but I thought I should share in case they have ever treated anyone else in this manner. read more

They did an amazing job with my blankets! It was only $14 per comforter (regular comforters- king size). They folded them and put them into individual comforter bags and they were able to get every stain out. When I arrived, they came out with a cart and helped me carry everything in. This was the fastest, most effective drop-off service I have ever used and I will definitely be back. read more

I have been using this establishment for a couple of years. At some point the owner needs to spend some of the money he is making to make improvements. In the last couple of months I have had white t-shirts stained, used machines that were out of order and had to waste an additional 45 minutes waiting for the clothes to finally dry after restarting in a different machine. Today was no different. I put six t-sheets in a dryer for 30 minutes and guess what - when the machine stopped the shirts were as wet as they were when I in put them in the machine. It's a shame that I'll have to go to the other side of town to do laundry when this place is just up the street. Again the owner has to put money in the place if he wants to keep his regular customers. I think if I go there again instead of giving the owner the opportunity to call the police I'll call and ask them to meet me there! read more

I m too lazy to do my own laundry, so I always use wash and fold service. The difference in price is not all that great. Big load costs under 6 dol, plus probably you would need to spend something on drying. The wash and fold is just 10 dol. Maybe some customers find it expensive, but this is not an issue with me. A neighbor told me she discontinued using Lakeside because their wash n fold is dirty and on top of everything they RE-USE dirty bags. I could not believe it. I thought these plastic bags they must order wholesale and probably get them around 10 cents a piece if not less. Why would they risk the reputation of their business trying to save money on such a tiny expense? Nevertheless I started reading yelp reviews and came across negative info about wash n fold service from another customer. So I decided to make an experiment. I made a hole in my bag close to the bottom and put a dirty laundry there. This was their bag which i received from them the previous time. Then i dropped it off and the next day came to pick up my CLEAN laundry. Guess what folks? I received it in that same bag with the same hole in it. So to save 10 cents they put MY CLEAN LAUNDRY in the DIRTY bag after charging me 10 dollars! Wow! The business is owned by Chinese. This reminds me what happened in another Chinese owned biz - in a East Dumpling House where Chinese waitress dropped half a tray of dumplings on the floor while walking thru the empty lobby to the sister joint and then picked up these dumplings from the floor and put them back on the tray together w the good ones, then proceeded to serve the customers. My husband and I are terrible at maintaining a laundry schedule. We ended up with 3 giant bags of laundry to do, and I really didn't want to spend the weekend washing and (especially) folding/hanging clothes. This place was great. I actually just picked up my bundle (dropped off Saturday late morning, picked up Monday evening). Everything that could possibly be hung is on a hanger and everything else is folded better than I could have done myself. 37 lbs of laundry cost me $37... I consider the money spent well worth it, and I plan on coming back every time our dirty clothes get out of hand. read more
