Cedar Cover Resort on White Lake is the home of the Likeside Grill, it has been totally revamped after a fire last year. totally changed the decor and it looks fantastic, the question was the food going to be as good as the decor. the food has been hit or miss over the years pending on the chef.....shocker.... we went for lunch and tried a cross section of the menu (the fries aren't homemade booo), we ordered a mexican burger with a salad, and chicken nuggets with a hoison sauce and seasame seeds, my friends ordered a chicken salad sandwich on a homebaked roll, and another had a burger with the fries. everything tasted really good, only 2 weeks ago they opened so i think the chef is getting his legs under him. the mexican burger had a hand pressed patty (a must) with a salsa on top with cheese (needed more heat and maybe some avacado) the side salad was fantastic the chicken nuggets were perfect the chicken sandwich was a breast and HUGE, and although the bun looked giant it was super light and flaky, the burger was classic.....need homemade fries though. read more

We frequently enjoy a meal at The Lakeside Grill while we are seasonal guests . Our meals are always very good only issue is the service at times , but generally yummy food . read more
