He did an amazing job keeping everything organized and flowing smoothly, which allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment without worrying about timing or transitions. That alone meant so much to us! The atmosphere he created was incredible. The dance floor was never empty, and the energy stayed high all night long. He knew exactly what to play and when to play it it felt like he understood our vibe perfectly while also keeping our guests entertained and engaged. I also really appreciated how attentive and easy he was to work with. He listened to what we wanted, executed it beautifully, and still added his own touch to make everything feel elevated and fun. If you're a couple getting married or are looking for someone who will take stress off your shoulders and create an unforgettable experience for you and your guests, I can't recommend him enough. First off, congratulations on pulling of the event with the venue change, format change, etc,…read moreso-on, so-forth. Second of all, I'm happy that money was raised for Susan G. Komen, it's definitely a great cause. From an attendee point-of-view, I believe the show should have been pretty successful. With the beer flowing, drunken stumblings, volume of cars, etc the show should not have been a bad time for attendees, spectators, passers by, etc. There were rumblings about the "reserved" parking solely based on Air Ride and the reason a fee was charged on top of registration, etc. The Show N Shine format, although more informal, does lead to some more "chaos" as it's less "structured" compared to a show with classed parking. The volume of the cars v. the lack of parking did also raise some concerns as well as issues. From a vendor/business point-of-view (and I can only speak for myself), it left a bit to be desired. This is not a personal dig on you or your staff. Thank you for making accommodations to include us in your show. These are just observations and reactions based on 8 hours in the parking lot. Organization was not too bad, registration, setup, etc went smoothly. Vendor row seemed detached from the rest of the show. If there was a PA or DJ (as mentioned in the introductory package for shout-outs, etc) making announcements, promoting vendors/products, etc, it could not be heard. Divorcing Vendor Row from the registration booth and "premier" vendors, and having all the activities across the parking lot drew everyone away from vendor row. 2011's format, layout and space was definitely better, in our opinion. We had such a beautiful wedding at Miller's Landing and are so grateful to the entire team. The…read morevenue is absolutely gorgeous, and from the beginning, the planning process was smooth and enjoyable. Communication with Kellan was excellent throughout the process, and John and Terri were also wonderful to work with--always kind, attentive, and helpful. We also loved the venue's recommended vendors, who all helped make our day so special. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the end of the evening felt much more stressful than expected. After celebrating all day, we had to help pack, load, and remove all of our personal décor that same night. We had understood the décor would be packed and ready for us to load, but instead several of our family members and guests ended up helping pack everything before we could leave. Unfortunately, some of our personal décor items were also damaged during the packing process, which was disappointing since many of them were sentimental. One suggestion I have for future weddings would be to allow couples to pick up their packed décor early the following morning. On the morning of our wedding, there was already a venue tour and another couple's rehearsal taking place, and the staff handled both so seamlessly that we barely noticed. Since the venue is already in use the next morning, offering a short pickup window for the previous night's couple could make the end of the wedding day much less stressful without disrupting operations. Overall, none of this takes away from how beautiful our wedding day was or how much we appreciated the Miller's Landing team. We are incredibly thankful for everything they did to help make our day so memorable and would absolutely recommend the venue to couples looking for a stunning place to get married.

Family owned--Kellan, Terri, and everyone in the staff were so unbelievably transparent, friendly, helpful, and amazing to work with. The communication is on point and everything was seamless since their packages include basically everything! Even the small amount of things not included in package pricing, they gave recommendations that were great! The property is so beautiful and so well maintained even when we toured it when it was raining and sleet coming down! The ceremony site is a dream, which flows right into the cocktail area, and then reception/dinner in the beautiful, rustic barn and everything flows perfectly. It's small enough to where people don't wander off and disappear or get too separated, but big enough to provide spaces and pockets for people to hang out in. Fox in the Woods Catering was absolutely delicious and the venue tasting was great--we had such a hard time deciding what to choose because it was all so good. The bridal suite did get a little warm on our 80 degree wedding day, but they have portable air conditioners that helped. We loved the table and mirrors so my bridesmaids not getting hair and makeup done could do their own there. The groom suite is a great spot for the guys and every space is so well put together and comfortable. Our day of coordinator included with the venue, Ashly, was amazing in creating our day of timeline, setting up decor and making sure our vision came to life. Family owned and operated was the way to go. We felt so special and didn't have a single thing to worry about and we had the most perfect wedding day. We are on cloud nine and highly recommend anyone wanting a seamless wedding and less stress of planning, please book here. You will not regret it!

I've sat on this review for 7 months. I really didn't want to write it. We got a Black Friday deal…read morein 2017 for our July 2018 wedding that was supposed to include DJ/MC, photo booth, up lighting, cake light, and GOBO. We added ceremony services as well. And then, our DJ went dark. We finally got in touch with Richard in late February and he told us they were busy with other family business ventures, apologizing for the delay. ....ok..... On Feb. 26, I reached out to start settling details for the GOBO and photo booth templates. On 4/16 we emailed our final decisions for both. We reached out on 6/3 to set up a time to meet and discuss details. That meeting (6/5) was cancelled the day of because Richard had pink eye. We attempted to reschedule that day and got no response. I reached out again on 6/7 and got a response on 6/8 saying he had lost all contacts and texts from his phone. ....ok... We finally met on 6/11. I confirmed with Richard all the songs (I provided a CD with the versions I wanted), as well as a day-of schedule. We confirmed AGAIN the photo booth and GOBO logos we chose. On 7/12 (mind you, the wedding is 7/22), I called and left a voicemail concerned that I had yet to receive a proof for the GOBO or photo booth logo. I got a text back saying they should be ready by the end of the day. Telling me again that he's been "busy with family issues." On 7/15 we confirmed AGAIN the GOBO logo, font, AND correct spelling of my name. On 7/20. TWO DAYS prior to my wedding, at 8:49 PM, I *finally*get the proof. And my name is spelled wrong. Now, *SURPRISE, SURPRISE* it's too late to get it corrected. I'm very angry, but I don't have time for anger. I'm texting Richard at our REHEARSAL DINNER with family as he asks for a decision of a refund of $100 or an extra hour of photo booth time to make up for it. On 7/21, we just agree to have an extra hour of photo booth time. On the day of the ceremony, 7/22, I notice that the song that's supposed to be played during our unity ceremony is not being played at all. *sigh* The photo booth is supposed to take place during cocktail hour as my husband and I are taking our pictures. Per our site coordinator, my day of coordinator, and several guests (including my parents), there was no notification or announcement that the photo booth was available for people to use. Therefore, we have maybe 20 pictures of people using the photo booth. The actual music during the reception. was great. But there were too many holes between the services we paid for and what we received. Of all the vendors we used, I recommended the same photographer, seamstress, and florist to several individuals I knew who were getting married soon. Two are using the same photographer, and a cousin who is getting married next weekend has opted for EVERY vendor I recommended. I could not, and will not, recommend Dance All Night DJ to anyone else. I felt stuck because we paid up front in November and could not afford to lose that money and find another DJ. I don't have a nice way to say this... I don't care about your other business ventures. Although unfortunate, the "family issues" plagued us and made coordination next to impossible.
