Frank was such an awesome DJ to work with! He was our DJ at our wedding at San Moritz Lodge in Crestline, CA on October 28, 2022. From the moment we first reached out to Frank up until our wedding day, he was such a joy and breeze to work with. He was super friendly, and made us feel comfortable in our choice to go with him as our DJ. He even drove down the mountain to meet us at our home to talk about our wedding and music plans with us. Because we weren't sure how things were going to work in our wedding, he talked us through his usual game plan, when music plays, what kinds of music we should think about, and different playlists that we should build for him to refer to. This was super helpful, and made our music decision making process so much easier. We created specific playlists for cocktail, dinner, and dancing hours and Frank stayed true to our playlists! Granted, we made special requests, but he was able to honor them, and still play other music that was in line with what we wanted. The best part -- he actually played entire songs. I've been to weddings before where the DJ will cut the song short halfway through, which ruins everyone's dancing groove. However, Frank didn't do that. He played songs in full, and made sure everyone was having a good time. I kid you not, the dance floor was always packed once it opened up for dancing. Frank knew exactly which dance songs to play to make sure everyone felt comfortable and had a good time dancing. He's also a great MC, and made sure to make our guests feel welcome. Throughout the night, he'd come and check with us for important updates regarding toasts, song requests (towards the end), and assured us he'd make sure things would go smoothly with the music. We also booked his photobooth, which our guests absolutely loved!!!! It was a hit, and we received a lot of compliments. He's got a lot of different props to choose from, and you're welcome to bring your own props, as long as you mark which ones are yours so that they don't get mixed up with his. His team member that runs the photobooth was also excellent! He was lively and energetic, which made taking pictures at the photobooth 10x more fun. Our guests gave us so much compliments on the photobooth and Frank's team that was running it. If you are looking for a photobooth on top of DJ services, you should definitely book it through Frank. Overall, we were so happy with Frank's services as our DJ. We had absolutely zero complaints. If you are looking for a DJ in the Crestline/Lake Arrowhead area, definitely go with Frank. Frank work with our organization for our annual Rim of the World Historical Society Holiday Event. He did a wonderful job making the evening a great success. The theme was "Relive the Legend of the Club San Moritz" focusing on 1959. He worked with us to schedule just the right music to match the theme. He played cocktail hour and dinner music, then cut loose with rock and roll for dancing. He did a great job judging the crowd and knowing when to change it up, or pick a slow dance tune when we needed a little rest. He was very easy to work with and responsive to our needs. I'm not sure where to begin with how impressed I am with Frank. He arrived extra early to the venue to set up and even offered to help with miscellaneous tasks. He is extremely knowledgable about the formalities that weddings often have and was helpful enough to share insight and suggest ideas to make our wedding even better and run smoother. His presence added a fun element to everything he did all while making sure everything goes according to plan. He provided music for our ceremony as well as reception and everything ran flawlessly. He had a microphone ready for our officiant and had all music requests prepared prior to arriving on wedding day. During the reception he was able to read the mood of guests and really got people up and dancing with both slow and fast songs. He catered music to all our our guests, young and old. Frank went table to table to release guests to our buffet and was quiet and efficient in the background leaving my wife and I to enjoy our time without any added stress. He was open to appropriate requests for songs from family and had an extensive library of music. He got through all of our events and conducts himself very well under any stress. He is friendly and easy to talk to which really makes him feel like a friend. He brought everything he needed and even has backups in case anything were to go wrong. His dance lights were an amazing addition to our dance floor. Frank stuck with us despite a postponed wedding and venue change and was so understanding and compassionate. He even travelled for us. My wife and I recently got married at San Moritz Lodge in Crestline and we chose Frank as the DJ for our big day, which happened to be on a Friday. Frank went above and beyond our expectations as a DJ as I hope I'll be able to highlight below. Frank initially showed up early Thursday morning at the Lodge for our rehearsal of the wedding. We confirmed all of our songs for the wedding ceremony as well as the cocktail hour and reception. Additionally, Frank made several recommendations for wedding games that he could use to keep the party going during our reception, which we gladly welcomed. Later that night, Frank met us at Rim Bowling where we were hosting a rehearsal dinner/get-together for all of our guests who were already in town, so that they could relax, socialize, and generally have fun. Frank volunteered to DJ during our rehearsal dinner at the bowling alley and, due to his relationship with the owners of the bowling alley, was able to play music in both the downstairs bowling area as well as in the upstairs party room. His intimate knowledge of the sound system at the bowling alley ensured that our upstairs guests were not drowned out by music, so that they could converse with one another, while our guests downstairs were able to party and otherwise enjoy themselves. Additionally, when the bowling alley shut down, Frank was able to direct us to a local bar to continue the festivities. During the actual wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, Frank was wonderful and acted as a skilled Master of Ceremonies. Frank never asked anything of us, and we were never concerned with the pace of the event, as Frank ensured we all were taken care of. At one point, Frank even got on to the dance floor and began break dancing himself, much to the delight of our guests. Though he never asked, my wife and I ensured that Frank was able to receive dinner and offered him wedding cake as well, and though he is too polite to ever say anything, I highly encourage future wedding couples to consider feeding those who are helping to make your day/night special. In the end, my wife and I were thrilled with our choice of Frank. Frank has a level of maturity and professionalism that far exceed his age and should my wife and I have another venue requiring a DJ in the SoCal area, and if Frank is willing to travel, we'd be more than happy to hire him again as our DJ. Thank you again Frank for everything you did over those two days for all of our friends and family. You truly made the event a memorable and special day for everyone! read more
