Happy to have found Creative Dj. Found them through Google and read reviews but like all experiences their had their highs and lows. Lows: we had Leo as a DJ and had a few bumps. We had a miscommunication with what songs needed to be played during certain times, Our last name when being introduce was mispronounced, some people in our wedding party weren't announced when they had just been given the names. But just make sure when your planning your time line online to be very clear and go over everything for your event but overall Leo was sweet Highs:Chris and Susan were great communicators. They called, texted, or emailed to answer questions I had or any extra information they needed. Photo booth was super great and on point! My guest loved all their photos and the props! They got there earlier than schedule to set up and be ready on time. Very professional and friendly. Frank was amazing and helped my guests with whatever they needed and gave their pictures on time within few seconds. The quality of pictures were amazing. when i called the first time, it took them only 3-4 minutes to set my account and i got an email promptly to sign the contract and then sent me a confirmation email confirming everything. I purchased a groupon for Creative Dj's photo booth for my wedding back in November 2013. They were awesome, they showed up on time, even let me purchase an extra half hour because everybody was having so much fun. They made picture strips that matched my wedding theme perfectly! What I was most surprised by, they made copies for everybody who was in the pictures so nobody had to fight over who got to keep the photos. But after learning about their DJ+Photo Booth package deal, I figured it'd be nice to have a peace of mind to have a DJ as well (originally intended to go full DIY DJ for my wedding, which probably would've been highly stressful). Every time I contacted Chris with a question he got back to me right away and was so helpful. I haven't experienced such good customer service in a really long time. They were the easiest and most professional people to deal with. We had so much fun taking pictures on my wedding night and have so many memories that we get to keep forever. As a yelper, I feel I gave a fair review of this vendor (3 out of 5). As a business owner myself, I value reviews to improve my business and I welcome it. Obviously Chris does not. As some yelpers know, when you get a response from the business regarding ones review, you get an alert that a comment was left. Well, since the june event, I have gotten 3 alerts at different days since my post which means he has changed his comments THREE times..the latest being today. Seriously??? Sadly, each time the comments were more and more trivial and angry in nature. To say a new tablecloth "smelled like it came from a stale linen closet of a grade B fish restaurant" is pretty childish. This issue as Chris saw it should not be an issue if he bought all equipment, including tablecovers vs telling customers "if they want it to look nice." And no, DJ table was not already covered. A tablecloth had to be removed from a floor table to be used on stage where the DJ table was. I think what needs to be addressed for Creative's future potential customers is not trivial things like tablecloths, but why Chris allowed his child to run around and play hide and seek all over the venue would be more appropriate. In my review, comment was "heavy set" was used to describe Chris. Nowhere in my review does it mention weight was an issue as he had asked. Yes, it was decided not to use his photobooth for reasons I don't think is fair to discuss. In Chris'initial comments which has since been changed, he stated, "who would hire photo booths and not use them?" You inferred that the team was stupid. Instead of ridiculing a customer, a business should take the high road as they still got paid for the booths even when not used. Creative/Chris was also given a tip. Why? Again..they were not bad! I think what was most disturbing about Chris' most recent response/comments is that he shared the name of the customer and generalized his bad feelings. This again lacks professionalism on his part. That is like me working with Mr. Jones and then lashing out at him to my client base. So again, for those who are reading this and considering using Creative, please read my initial review. He isn't the best, but he wasn't bad either (3/5). His wife who he bought along for photobooth was very nice. We felt bad for not using her as we know she did alot of the behind the scenes to prep. Why I have decided to change my rating is because of the multiple times he has changed his response/comments...most of which are very different from the previous ones and he continues his onslaught. . The event was in June. This is only 1 review. Move on. I think if one reads it, one can see why I changed my review. I let my initial and followup review speak for itself :) When you own a business, accept criticism and learn from it to make your business better. I am a big advocate of small businesses. Not everyone is going to "love" your work. No matter how many years one has been doing it, doesn't mean there is nothing to improve on. Something Chris may want to think about. I found Creative DJs through a deal on Living Social. They were offering 2 hours for $200. My wife and I didn't want to spend any additional money for a photo booth at our wedding but since it was so cheap we decided go with them. My expectations were pretty low because of such a low price but as I began checking out their website and seeing what they offer, I began to think they could be legit. The package included any background (even green screen), a scrap book, photo strips for everyone in the picture (and a copy for us), props, custom footer and a 4GB USB stick containing a collection of all the pictures. Chris and Susan were very easy to work with and very reasonable. The footer design only took a few emails with our custom graphic and after finalizing that we didn't contact them again until we saw them at our wedding. They arrived on time and the set up just in time for cocktail hour. I have to admit Chris is very honest. After two hours he came by and told me that the photo booth was only used 26 times. He could have packed up and left but instead he told me he felt like he was ripping me off and offered to stay for 2 additional hours at no cost. What a deal! There nothing like dealing with honest and generous vendors. I would highly recommend Creative DJs Photo Booth not only for the great deal but also because of the quality. All my guests were very happy with the pictures and the props he has are hilarious. I've seen some pretty cheesy photo booths at multiple wedding conventions but these guys offer a lot with good quality. read more

I was lucky enough to find these guys. At first it started out as a groupon hunt for photo booths. Weddings are expensive enough as it is but I didn't want to skimp on the fun for our guests so I thought to look on Groupon. Then like any good yelper I checked them out and was blown away by all of the fantastic reviews. I called them up just before booking the groupon, which I had been eyeballing for a while, and they have stipulations on dates when you can use them. I just wanted to find out more information but Chris gave me that and so much more! He gave me the complete rundown of how things would go AND he also gave me the groupon price without having to go through all the groupon hurdles! (I expect it's because groupon takes a chunk of the sale) Chris (the owner) was super nice and made everything so easy. For those who have ever planned a wedding knows how crazy hectic it can be and the last thing you want to do is have to keep tabs on vendors and Creative DJs was so professional and so easy to work with. I would highly recommend this company for a photo booth rental. Both Chris and Susan were very responsive and helpful. Chris arrived over an hour early to get all set up so that our guests of honor could see the photo booth when they arrived to their surprise party. Their props were awesome and they had a very large selection to choose from. Unfortunately, there was a mix up with the venue manager and just after they were all set up, they were asked to move the booth. However the day of the event they had the props inside of a plastic box that all guests had to grab out of and the props were old and dingy. On top of that we paid for the scrap book service to be managed and the book and supplies was left on the table by itself. All the guests wrote and pasted wherever they wanted. We were told this service included someone to assist paste so there would be enough pages and guests wouldn't waste an entire page on one photo strip. Overall: need good contrition props, be organized and at least ask for a table of you can't supply and assist in scrapbook if we pay extra for it. read more

Never again. What a terrible experience on my 21st birthday. He arrived 30 minutes early and was configuring the machine, while he claimed his system "crashed". He worked on it for another hour and could not get it working. Didn't call for back up, or get another machine/booth, and told us he had to leave and there was nothing he could do anymore. As part of a business, you should know beforehand to try the machine before you even come to the household just to make sure everything works. No idea what happened. Needless to say I was extremely livid to find out there would be NO photobooth at all for my 21st birthday. read more

This is a review for Chris, the DJ and owner of Creative DJs. We reached out to Chris and his wife back in March/April of 2020 and immediately paid the full amount because we really wanted to book them for our wedding that was planned to take place October 2020. For every bride reading this, I was planning my wedding from a different state. Can you imagine the stress of traveling state to state in a limited time frame to book a venue, flowers, cake, photographer/videographer?! I met with every single vendor except for Chris. He was always easy to reach on his cell and email. After speaking to him on the phone, I knew he was the perfect fit for us. Everything that I had questions about, he gave me his expertise. Not only am I super picky about lighting, the music, the photo booth, etc., I'm also not the easiest person to talk to because I have the attitude of "it's my way or I'm going somewhere else." Chris listened and told me that anything that I envisioned, he would bring to life. Unfortunately, our venue cancelled our wedding as a result of Covid. Chris and his wife returned our money in full and told us they understood the struggles every family was going through as a result of Covid. My best friends also planned a wedding around the same time frame and could not receive a penny back from their vendors. I was so fortunate to have met good people who really went out of their way to do the right thing even though Chris' business struggled through Covid.
