Jonathan was super cool in the beginning and told us he will not be going on vacation for awhile so he will be there for us no matter what and would be the MC at our wedding. This place was the first DJ we checked out and the last. We paid in full up front and got a discount and we were happy! Fast forward to a few weeks before the wedding (we booked him 10 months beforehand) and haven't heard anything from him. We wanted to follow up with him and let him know our music for our first dance and blah blah. Called him, sent him emails. Nothing. It was absolutely ridiculous. FINALLY, a week or so before the wedding we get in touch with someone else and says I can meet you to go over everything. We ask what happened to Jonathan and he tells us he had a family emergency. Okay. For 3 weeks? Hmmmm. Okay. So we meet up with this other dude and go over everything and he gives us his number and we are good to go. And he then tells us he will be the MC for our wedding now, not Jonathan. Ha. Okay. So, 2 days before the wedding, he calls us up (I wish I remember his name) and says we can't do the gobo for you. Our machine is broken. We are pretty bummed since we did pay for it but we said okay we would like a discount. I guess the package we got INCLUDED the gobo at no charge. Yeah right. Okay. Whatever. Fast forward to the day of the wedding and everything turned out perfectly! Our DJ was right on with the music, played the music we wanted and everyone at our wedding loved him (except for a few people that he kicked off the dance floor when it was the anniversary dance). All in all, the music and entertainment was great. Jonathan on the other hand was an absolute salesman sleazeball. He drove out all the way to Hemet to meet us the first time which we thought was awesome. He was super cool first meeting and then he dropped off the face of the planet. Horrible with communication and most likely is a liar (I highly doubt he had a family emergency...he was probably at another wedding). Which was fine if he just told us the truth and communicated with us. I wanted to give this place a two but I've been to a few other weddings since then and the other DJ's were not nearly as good as ours so I had to bump them up 1 star.

Our stand out memory with Ed was asking him to run the show for my wife's 40th birthday party! He completely understood the assignment. From the easy playlist & song submission platform we got linked with in advance, to his early arrival & set up, the LIGHTING!, fog machine, light bars, the works - Ed is dialed and has thought of everything. Mic came out right on time for the toast and candle blow out for my wife. Song after song he nailed the desired vibe, and kept the dance floor full with all the hits my wife was hoping to hear. I've sat on this review for 7 months. I really didn't want to write it. We got a Black Friday deal…read morein 2017 for our July 2018 wedding that was supposed to include DJ/MC, photo booth, up lighting, cake light, and GOBO. We added ceremony services as well. And then, our DJ went dark. We finally got in touch with Richard in late February and he told us they were busy with other family business ventures, apologizing for the delay. ....ok..... On Feb. 26, I reached out to start settling details for the GOBO and photo booth templates. On 4/16 we emailed our final decisions for both. We reached out on 6/3 to set up a time to meet and discuss details. That meeting (6/5) was cancelled the day of because Richard had pink eye. We attempted to reschedule that day and got no response. I reached out again on 6/7 and got a response on 6/8 saying he had lost all contacts and texts from his phone. ....ok... We finally met on 6/11. I confirmed with Richard all the songs (I provided a CD with the versions I wanted), as well as a day-of schedule. We confirmed AGAIN the photo booth and GOBO logos we chose. On 7/12 (mind you, the wedding is 7/22), I called and left a voicemail concerned that I had yet to receive a proof for the GOBO or photo booth logo. I got a text back saying they should be ready by the end of the day. Telling me again that he's been "busy with family issues." On 7/15 we confirmed AGAIN the GOBO logo, font, AND correct spelling of my name. On 7/20. TWO DAYS prior to my wedding, at 8:49 PM, I *finally*get the proof. And my name is spelled wrong. Now, *SURPRISE, SURPRISE* it's too late to get it corrected. I'm very angry, but I don't have time for anger. I'm texting Richard at our REHEARSAL DINNER with family as he asks for a decision of a refund of $100 or an extra hour of photo booth time to make up for it. On 7/21, we just agree to have an extra hour of photo booth time. On the day of the ceremony, 7/22, I notice that the song that's supposed to be played during our unity ceremony is not being played at all. *sigh* The photo booth is supposed to take place during cocktail hour as my husband and I are taking our pictures. Per our site coordinator, my day of coordinator, and several guests (including my parents), there was no notification or announcement that the photo booth was available for people to use. Therefore, we have maybe 20 pictures of people using the photo booth. The actual music during the reception. was great. But there were too many holes between the services we paid for and what we received. Of all the vendors we used, I recommended the same photographer, seamstress, and florist to several individuals I knew who were getting married soon. Two are using the same photographer, and a cousin who is getting married next weekend has opted for EVERY vendor I recommended. I could not, and will not, recommend Dance All Night DJ to anyone else. I felt stuck because we paid up front in November and could not afford to lose that money and find another DJ. I don't have a nice way to say this... I don't care about your other business ventures. Although unfortunate, the "family issues" plagued us and made coordination next to impossible.
