It was announced that they had her (la quinceañera's) playlist yet by the end of the night la quinceañera was upset because he (the DJ) strayed away from the music she requested. My sister requested the music be changed to what she wanted multiple times, EVEN receiving attitude and snarky comments from the DJ, describing him to be CONDESCENDING AT HER QUINCEAÑERA! Along side this we had multiple guests, including BOTH my parents, requesting the music be changed back to Cumbias and other dancing/latin music, yet the DJ still played old school 80s music ignoring our requests playing whatever he wanted. Again, Jessica and the kids did an amazing job, keeping the energy up, keeping everything organized at the photo booth . ALTHOUGH the day is SUPPOSED to focus on my sister, LA QUINCEAÑERA, the DJ GAVE ATTITUDE to the birthday girl, ignored her request even saying what he was doing is better. We even had multiple guests come to us complaining as well. Summary, Jessica and her kids did and amazing job. The Husband, THE DJ, is the one who put a stain on my sisters big day, giving attitude and stating his old school mix was better than the dancing Cumbias/latin music she wanted for her BIRTHDAY! In addition, He ignored and brushed off my parents (the ones paying) and other guests that helped put the event together. To add to this, two years ago for my other sister's college graduation party, we had the same DJ, only The DJ, and he did the same thing going off script ignoring the requested playlist, playing old-school music. This wasn't as big of deal because he didn't show any from of disrespect, because no one went to request music, but again, he ignored her playlist and played his old school mix. After two times going to ANY BEAT ENTERTAINMENT we regret to inform our experience have has been a rough one.

While most DJs just hit play on a playlist, and some even tend to just repeat a lot of songs, Rick is the opposite. He feels the crowd. He will play any mix of music you want, but he will also play off the vibe of the guests to keep the party going. What makes Rick even better than the majority of the DJs out there, is the fact that he is an outgoing and funny guy. As an MC he keep keep the crowd going, and as a professional singer he will even incorporate whatever songs you want him to sing. Hands down he has ruined me for other DJs. When I go to other parties I just get disappointed now because other DJs just don't make me want to dance. You really don't know what you're missing until you've had the best.

We are very glad we didn't just jump at any vendor. In our research we found the prices for Lighting and DJ combos to be all over the place for pretty much the same service. We met with Ammon and instantly had a personal connection to him and liked what he and his company had to offer. He was more than willing to work with our budget, while still caring about how the venue would like and sound like. We were able to find a happy medium cost-wise and Ammon did his best to throw in even more than was promised because he cared about how the end product looked and sounded like. On the wedding day, both my, now wife, loved how everything looked and sounded. We had two rooms in our venue and we discussed having the main dining room feel "warmer." So Ammon suggested some nice soft pink uplighting along the walls while the other room was more of party room where where the colors were more of a deep purple. In regards to the music, Ammon offered a lot of great suggestions for specific music for different moments of the wedding which was very helpful. Once the dance floor opened, he did a great job of keeping the energy and the party going. He even ended up running the music longer because people kept dancing...a lot of the credit goes to him on that! The last dance of the night was the same song as our first dance....which was a very nice tough. Again, great experience and highly recommended.

When I first started looking for a DJ it was hard to find someone that clicked with me and my personality. I wanted a really non-traditional wedding and I was looking for someone who was going to understand what it was that I was looking for. I mean my fiance and I were getting married at a baseball stadium in Lake Elsinore for crying out loud! When I first contacted Manny he seemed to immediately get what I was trying to do for our wedding. I loved how he was just as hyped up and excited as I was for the event. He never once said "no that's not a good idea", or "that is not something that I do" Manny was super accommodating to the situations that came up through the process. He sent over the worksheet for the wedding day and I must say that it helped me get organized for the big day. I was able to really customize and break down what we wanted to do from ceremony to reception. Manny was so generous to agree to do both the ceremony and the reception since he has more than one system available to use. This really relieved some stress from me because I was freaking out about moving seamlessly from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. Right up until the night before the wedding he let me make changes and add last minute songs to the must play list. The day of the wedding was a breeze! We came, we got married, and we partied! I can say that we were totally ahead of schedule because Manny was fantastic at getting things going and making sure that we were all lined up and ready to go! We had a great night dancing the night away to the point where me and my husband didn't even leave when we were supposed to! I HIGHLY recommend Manny for your event! He gave me more than I could imagine for the pricing that he charged me. His wife is also super awesome and fun to talk to in between songs.
