My family and I have been renting jet skis around the globe for years, and not once did anyone perform a post-use inspection. I have no problem with them performing a post-use inspection, but if you are going to do that, you need to also do a pre-use inspection in front of us. We were on the lake, away from debris and the shore, yet she said the jet ski sucked up something and was damaged. We were charged an additional fee for parts and labor for repairs. The thing is, if you didn't perform a pre-use inspection in front of the customer, how do we know this isn't previous damage? Do they do this to all unsuspecting customers? Who knows. Lesson learned for next time.

The staff will unload your car on their quad squad and put it all on the boat for you. Paula and Carrie in the office are amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure you are set. Ryan will answer any questions you have and will make sure you have everything you need before you head out on your adventure. House boating is alot of work. From packing to set up to take down but let me tell you its all worth it to spend time on this beautiful lake! We have made the best memories out here. Having boating experience is a huge plus when driving these massive things. I would recommend asking as many questions if you have never done this before. Make sure you are comfortable driving it and setting it up. Its not up to the staff to do this for you. We already booked for next yr and look forward to this vacation every yr. We said, No thank you, we will just rent it. Took the stupid thing out for a total of 6 hours and the light started blinking, the next thing you know it's only running 5 miles per hour. We managed to ride it back to the rental company before they closed and swap it out! They had no problems swapping it out...obviously they knew it had issues! They told us...oh it might be the pump, I'll have my husband look at it, maybe you picked up rocks??? Or maybe NOT! This isn't our first time...we're out on the lake every Labor Day! A week and a half later my credit card it charged over $800 for the repair! I've got no description of work preformed or service done. When my sister called to see what the deal was, she was like oh ya, I picked up the parts today and my husbands going to fix it...save you guys some money ! Really!!!! Then I called and she was unwilling to speak to me and HUNG UP ON ME!!!! I guess I'll see you in small claims court! Not only that...bad yelp reviews are going to cost you a lot more! But our experience from the beginning to end was extraordinary. And in the beginning, we also called him like 100 times because we kept getting lost but he was patient and directed us back. Gave us advice to pick up snacks for the calm parts of the river - which we were thankful for 2 hours in to the 3 hour rental. Gave us safety guidelines that were also worth knowing about the river- we definitely would of panicked as there are several bends and just keep in mind the first 3 bridges come fast and then the last two take quite some time as we did sign up for the 6 hour tour. He was patient with me when I struggled with a few skills and helped me stay calm until I could succeed. He is very thorough and made sure I felt confident and we had fun in the process. I've been coming to Antlers Resort & Marina since I was a kid (I'm 40 now). It had been probably 25…read moreyears since I had last been there. My family always got the same site (A-51) so for nostalgia I had to book that site as well. I could have sworn when I was a kid there were wooden bear boxes, but they no longer exist (odd because I remember seeing a bear as a kid, and the grounds crew guy also mentioned bears coming through the camp ground) but that was no problem for us since we have a truck camper and keep all items locked inside. Our fire pit was a little run down, it was an old square brick type, and the bricks were crumbling off.. a little bit of mortar and a few replacement bricks and it would be perfect though. The pool area was just as I remembered from being a kid. The snack bar was great (yay for huge ice creams). The bathroom on the tent side of the grounds could definitely use some attention, one stall door has issues closing, the shower leaks into the toilet area during high usage, and one of the toilet paper dispensers won't remain secured on the wall. We had a good over all experience. The kids (6&9) loved playing in the pool and at the playground all day. We definitely plan to come back. Hopefully a few maintenance fixes for the bathroom areas happen, but all in all it was awesome to relive some of my childhood with my own kids.

Best campgrounds we've stayed at…read more Used the tent sites, & all of their tent sites were nice. Nearby restrooms 3 bathroom stalls & 3 shower stalls. There's even a laundry room. Fire pits were good too. The tent sites were SPACIOUS too I mean for my party of 6, we had 3 large tents with space & 2 trucks parked out of the way. Our site even had 2 benches. The shade provided by the trees was great, because as hot as it was, when we were present at our site we enjoyed relaxing underneath the shade. Front office staff were all very nice Saydra, Ricky & Whitney. All friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. There's also a campground store & grill. Grill food was fresh & bomb. Store part was great they carried a variety of things; ice, sunblock, water toys, camp lights, wagon, & so much more. They even have cute souvenir clothing, shirts, tanks, long sleeves, sweaters, hoodies, sun hats, sunglasses. The deck has great benches with umbrellas for shade with a great view of the lake. There's corn hole just have to ask for the bean bags. Mondays there's bingo. There's a pool 5ft. deep you have to leave a $20 deposit for the key at the front desk. Wood is cheaper here than at the Chevron. Campgrounds FAVE was the frosty (ice cream) Every morning when I went to use the bathroom, I witnessed staff cleaning the restrooms. So HUGE thank you to them for that. They even empty the trash bins throughout the day, through out the day you can catch someone on the golf cart roaming the campgrounds to make sure everything & everyone is good. There was always hot water, & cold water when needed. In the middle of the campgrounds there's a FUN playground with swings for the kids. There's even a basketball court & volleyball court too. This campgrounds is located in a great area too. Walking distance to the Antlers Marina(dock), short drive to a bunch of great swimming spots. A bit pricier than a few spots that we've stayed at but this campgrounds is WORTH IT! Definitely going to return, alsooooo upon checking out when I was at the office to double check if I needed to do anything else there was a long line in front of me of campers planning on returning too, booking their dates for 2024!!
