Great customer and nice cozy room!! This is the sec time I'm visiting, we love it so much and will coming back at summer time again

Downstairs in the 2 bedroom house- kitchen and bathroom (with shower stall) on the left

A fantastic get away on the shore of Lake Harmony- we stayed in the 2 bed room/2 bathroom house next to the motel and it was fantastic for a small family (would also be good for two couples)- all the amenities of home right on the lake! Owners are super responsive- you won't mind that there isn't a formal "front desk"- check in and check out was super easy- this is our second year in a row and we will be back for many more!

I stayed here with my boyfriend during the early week of November. I believe it was the 13th to 15th. I booked our stay the month before and was able to secure a deal; $172 for our stay! Rob was helpful with getting us all set. At first we were a bit freaked out because no one was there when we arrived. But we realized we were there during off season which made a lot of sense. I didn't get to meet Rob or any staff. Although, it was weird to not have someone there physically I have to say Rob made up for it by always promptly answering us through text. No matter what time I texted he answered right away. He gave us suggestions on restaurants near by and things we can do. Thanks lots Rob, Nicky's was great! The restaurants were very close to the location. The activities; ziplining, horseback riding and hiking were all about a 20 to 30 min drive. There's a beautiful lake there as well, I will be sharing those pictures soon. All and all my boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay! The room was clean, warm and cozy. Rob was amazing with assisting us from afar and the people nearby were friendly. I would definitely come back and suggest this location to friends. My boyfriend and I look forward to checking it out when their water sports are open.

Lake harmony inn was amazing, wonderful owners, plus location and atmosphere was perfect. The owners are great people who are so helpful. The onsite watersports are so fun, kayaking around the lake is extremely peaceful. dog friendly from the inn to local restaurants. Definitely will be back !!!!

Best motel in the Poconos. We got here at 5:00 pm after driving ten hours. We looked around and immediately felt relaxed. They could not do anything better. The room was quiet and comfortable. The green area from room to Lake Harmony was perfect for our little dog to roam. Sitting by the lake divine. Never had to think about anything but how happy we felt

Stayed here Tuesday-Thursday with my fiancé. Rob was more than accommodating. He was constantly available through texting and provided great recommendations. Our room was pristinely clean when we arrived. It's in a nice, quiet area, which was great for a relaxing getaway. Within 10 minutes from Jack Frost Big Boulder. $172 for two nights (doesn't get better than that!). Many great restaurants within walking distance. We even wanted to stay another night!! I would highly recommend staying at Lake Harmony Inn. We were certainly not disappointed!!

Hi Yelpers. I stayed at the Best Western in Blakeslee P.A. 107 Parkside Ave. My experience was…read moregood. The people at the front desk were welcoming and polite. The lobby area is quaint. They have a pool, but I didn't get a chance to try it. You have a small area to eat a free continental breakfast. Your choices would be pancakes, eggs, sausages, toast, potatoes, orange juice, apple juice. You can purchase snacks and other drinks, but they're a bit pricey compared to getting it at the local store. Sorry if you're expecting a continental dinner, you're on your own with that. That's not covered. I had to do UberEats. The hallway to the room was clean and quiet. The room was small but perfect for me or a couple. The room came with a microwave, refrigerator, iron with an iron board. My room had a comfortable bed along with a pull out sofa couch, cushy chair with desk and sizable LG television. There is a connecting door to the room next to mine. Make sure you keep it locked. Otherwise you may have some uninvited guests...haha. You can control the room temperature which is by the window. The only problem with the television is the signal to the tv was weak causing the programs to pause every few seconds. Fyi, you get free wifi. Make sure you ask for the code. Parking, of course is available. Overall, I recommend this Best Western if you're ever up in Blakeslee P.A. and if you're planning a mini stay like me. I included a couple of outdoor pics of beautiful P.A. during my drive along with the hotel pics. Enjoy!

We stayed in a giant little villa with a full kitchen & dining area- full bathroom- one bedroom & a large fold out couch in the living room. It was more than big enough for 3 of us plus our dog! They're pet friendly which is refreshing!! Now this place is set up like a little village with the center being the front desk- inside the main area- they also have a ton of little extras such as a large movie theatre, gym/fitness center, game room, business/computer room & more. Everything is very nice, well taken care of & appears brand new. They also have the large indoor pool that connects to this building & behind it a full sized playground. My son LOVED staying here! He's a smart 6 year old & he thoroughly enjoyed the pool, playground, game & rec room! Our little villa was walking distance to the main building- being about a 6 or so minute walk or about 2 blocks! Very easy to find & go in & out. The staff was also really nice friendly and accommodating. I didn't hear or see too many other guests during our stay- which was pretty nice as well. We had the entire indoor pool to ourselves for a good 3-4 hours which is amazing! Overall I was MORE than happy with this place. I would absolutely return. Everything was CLEAN, in working order, & relatively new- which is nice! One of my biggest pet peeves is paying to stay at a hotel & then seeing their amenities are anything but & the microwave, mini fridge & tv are older then the ones in my home- that's disappointing. But didn't have that here- everything was nice and new! Woohoo!

Overall, I can say we had a fun week. I think people focus more on what they didn't like then…read morerealizing all the great things so they tend to not write about the good things. Check in wasn't bad. only a few people in line in front of me. a lot behind me and they only have two people at the desk. I feel they need to add a third person when busy but every time I walked by, there were only two people. They were supposed to leave a linen exchange form either in my check in packet or on the kitchen counter (we are timeshare). did not do either so I called housekeeping. left message. no one called me back. the next day I called for over an hour before someone would answer the phone and they said "I'll see what I can do". um ok. well they must not have been able to handle that because I had to go to check in to get it later that night when they still did not give it to me. luckily no one was in line at check-in. would not be happy to waste my time in line for something they should have already provided called the next morning for the linen exchange and they did it within the hour. so that was great. The room was great. very homey and spacious. don't understand why, if you offer a full kitchen with amenities, you would give me a 2qt, a 3qt and a spaghetti pot, but no frying pan??? doesn't make sense, had plenty of dishes and silverware. no other issues with kitchen. everything was great. but had to cook my kids pancakes and eggs in the spaghetti pot. not ideal, but made it work. also, why would you have a kitchen table with four chairs but only two placemats. there were four of us staying and only two of us had placemats. weird. pull out couch wasn't the worse one I ever slept on. bed was somewhat comfortable. but I have never slept anywhere that was as good as my own bed at home. so I get it. fireplace does not work. but since it was summer and I was staying here with my kids, not on a romantic holiday, I did not care. I did let them know when I checked out so the next person doesn't have an issue several outside lights on balcony for many of the rooms did not work. do they ever walk behind the buildings at night to check any of that? guess now. plus several rooms were missing screens off the windows. we had four windows and could only open 2 of them (did not want bugs in so did not open the ones without screens). found several screens near the vending machine just sitting in a row. hmmm, when did they plan to put them back up? maintenance like this I think could have been better. they sat there all week. bedroom was good size. so was bathroom. shower was small and no water pressure. plus it looked a little nasty like it needs a really good cleaning. the bathtub was in great shape. overall, we did like the room when I called to confirm a week before our stay, I thought I had an upgrade. they confirmed a two bedroom, even though I booked a one bedroom. I was excited, but disappointed to find out it still turned out to be a one bedroom when I checked in. why did they tell me that then??? we had fun playing miniature golf twice (course is a little run down and needs some TLC). playground was ok. wish it was bigger. beach was awesome. very nice. the indoor pool at the lodge was quieter when we went, but my son pulled out a big nasty hairball. gross. the area around the pool is cement and falling apart. could they epoxy seal it to make it look better? the pool was fine other than that the indoor pool at the towne center was big. always busy when we went. no one is ever "on duty" there. Kids ignore the "no one under 18 in the hot tub" sign. where were the parents? kids were standing on the top ledge of hot tub and jumping into the 3 foot part of indoor pool. omg, someone could get hurt! no parents, no staff to intervene. a little gross around the pool. might be nice if they run a mop throughout the day. I mean, this is a resort and people want to be happy and enjoy themselves, and not be grossed out. they have an indoor waterpark here, but we did not go since it was just me and my two special needs kids. I needed another adult. that's ok though we did not eat out here so I cannot comment on dining and food. we bought food at grocery store and ate in our room. mostly due to having two kids with a disability. just easier for me. did get takeout one time. off site. went to woody's country restaurant. I did notice that in the split rock binder in the room, there was false advertising for woody's country restaurant. see my yelp review for them. manager at restaurant was argumentative and would not honor the 20% off that the ad in the binder says I can get as a guest at split rock. not going into it all here, just see that review if you are interested. the activities were great. lots to do. definitely a family place. don't really consider this for a romantic getaway. too many kids and families. try another resort for this. all in all, for a family week away, we had a good time

Among the staff, Griffin at the front counter was a pleasure to work with. CONS: they charge you extra to use the common amenities (pool, gym, arcade, etc) and then extra on top of that for the water park. The electronic room key also failed and the carpet in our room wasn't clean. The line for check in took a solid 20 minutes. Longer than any other place I've been to. We also found a few bugs in our room OVERALL: not sure if I would come back here. The staff and the amount of amenities was amazing, but the cleanliness and the prices are very questionable

I've written over 23 Yelp and 50 Google reviews and have over 10,000 views of my reviews on Google…read moreand 15 helpfuls in Yelp. I have never given a business less than 4 stars until now. This review is being given a year after the visit due to my experiences with this company. Save your money and go to the Kartrite *NY* instead, a direct competitor of this company, who I rated 5 stars 3 years ago. My review of the Kartrite detailed that we had an awesome family getaway -- super friendly staff, a full schedule of kids' activities, scavenger hunts, and even the indoor/outdoor hot springs. It's organized, clean, and actually delivers on what it advertises. Split Rock was the complete opposite when we stayed in May 2025, while I was 8 months pregnant, as a babymoon and celebration for my first born before finally becoming a sister. From the moment we arrived, things were disorganized and poorly managed. We waited over 2 hours total just to check in in line in the lobby, and were given notice we would hear when our room was ready (a common practice advertised for families who want to use the water park before they check into their room), however no communication about when our room would be ready ever came so we waited again for an hour in the same line later on. The waterpark was only partially functional, with multiple attractions out of order, dirty bathrooms, and limited food options available. We "upgraded" to a Willowbrook suite specifically for the hot tub in the room -- which didn't have any working jets OR hot water. The room lacked basic essentials like soap, extra toilet paper, and even a trash can in the kitchen. One of the two AC units didn't function in the room. We later found out (on day TWO) that the property was under a boil water advisory, after we had already been drinking the water for our entire stay, WHILE I was 8 months pregnant. Dining was just as disappointing -- a $25 all you can eat Memorial Day "BBQ" that was actually one plate only, which included an undercooked hamburger, and resulted in my family getting sick the next day. Activities were inconsistent too -- advertised movies were changed without notice, and the WiFi didn't work when we tried to salvage the evening in the bedroom with a movie instead. The final straw: no hot water on our last morning. I chose not to make a scene during our stay because the front desk staff were clearly overwhelmed and dealing with many similar complaints. This is not a staff issue -- it is a systemic failure of this business. What makes this truly shameful is what happened in the months after when I tried to professionally handle the situation, without even asking for a refund which I really should have given the horrific standards not meeting appropriate living conditions. Following our stay, I sent a detailed and fair account of our experience similar but longer than this review. The Manager whose name I will redact at this time responded and offered a complimentary one-night stay "for two" (despite our two-night stay and the extent of issues). I responded promptly, reasonably asking about options for our family of four and a comparable experience. Then... nothing. I followed up multiple times over the course of an entire year with no response. As the certificate approached expiration, I reached out again simply trying to book something as the email requested I do when I was ready to try again. Still no response. At this point, it's not just about a bad stay, it's about a complete lack of accountability and follow-through. I hope this behavior in the year after is due to something more than lack of care. I no longer trust that I would have a safe visit for my family if they did offer me to stay. Now, I would only request a refund. I gave Split Rock every opportunity to make this right before posting publicly. Waiting a full year with no response is unacceptable. This was supposed to be a special final trip as a family of three. Instead, it was stressful, disappointing, and frankly unbelievable. I never thought I'd write a review like this -- but this experience earned it. Rooms: 1/5 | Service: 1/5 | Location: 2/5

Yes, the hotel is slightly older, but contrary to the other reviews, it wasn't as horrible as others have said--maybe it was because we had lowered expectations going in, but in fact we were pleasantly surprised. THIS IS NOT A 5-STAR HOTEL PEOPLE, SO GET OVER IT. It is a decent hotel, one of the least expensive in town, and definitely worth what we paid. PROS: The breakfast: more than just "grab and go." It was scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal/milk, bagels, toast, yogurt, juices, tea, coffee and more. It was buffet style and the staff were on top of refilling food and cleaning tables promptly. The pool: clean, clear, WARM! Very chlorinated-expect red eyes. The rooms: clean, comfortable, pretty much like any other middle of the road hotel. WiFi is free and worked better than cell service in this mountainous area. Tv was new, fridge and hairdryer were standard. Pretty quiet as well. The staff: awesome. The price: terrific. THE CONS: It was a little nerve wracking going up and down the hill to the hotel in the snow (December). They plow, but I'm not sure they salted the road, it seemed icy. We made it fine even though we were in a Ford Fusion and a small light Honda Fit. Yes, the key cards reset and locked us out even though we were booked for 2 days. Guy behind us in line in the lobby was having the same problem. I would suggest to the management, that since they clearly know this is a problem, just tell people when they check in that they could have a problem with this and apologize ahead of time and say that you are working in the problem. The rooms: as stated, clean, but a weird white grainy powder on the top of the bedspread. It was sort of like when you use too much powdered laundry soap and it doesn't rinse out all the way--or maybe the maids sprinkled carpet powder before they left and it overshot onto the bed--I have no idea. It was not IN the bed sheets, so we just shook it off the top and got over it. Then when we unfolded the sofa bed and just re-folded it back up, we noticed that a french fry fell out and there were also a few crumbs on top of the outer blanket in the sofa bed. Again, inside the sheets were clean. Minor, but annoying. Plumbing: toilets were a little slow. One shower (we had adjoining rooms) would not shut off completely and ran a medium stream all night. We felt horrible about all the wasted water, but it was really late and kids were asleep, so we didn't call the desk. :( Structure: I would suspect they have been trying to update and remodel. Room seemed newly painted, but certainly not a perfect paint job (paint on lamps, blotches here and there of dark paint we at first thought was blood, an unpainted water spot above the shower, etc). One old tiny elevator working (and one broken)-- IT REALLY WAS NOT A BIG ISSUE OR PROBLEM. Room heaters were a bit inefficient and inconsistent, but not terrible. Some of the the double-pane windows have become unsealed, so foggy and difficult to see outside. OVERALL: pretty decent for the low cost. No, it is maybe not like a sandals resort, but come on people, look at the room price. Never once saw a bug. Staff was great and extremely accommodating. They seem to be really trying to get the place looking better. It wasn't the Ritz, but it wasn't a roach motel either. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN.
