It was incredibly fast. The proof of service they provided was not the one I sent them to fill out. It was one that the process created correcting two mistakes I had made. All this for $75 in Manhattan where you can't get lunch for $75. I am very pleased. I usually check Yelp reviews before I do business with anyone but I didn't do it with ABC. If I had I would not have used them. I have never seen so many negative reviews for a business on Yelp. If ABC wants to avoid future bad reviews they need to advertise their services as "satisfaction guaranteed or your money back". Then tell their independent contractor process servers that if a negative review is left on YELP due to negligence on their part they are history. ABC can respond to this review and let Yelp members know if they have made any policy changes.

While they were ultimately successful in serving the individual after three attempts, the service was **not completed properly**, because the proof of service they provided was not acceptable to the court in the state where my case was filed. When I hired ABC Legal, I specifically provided them with the **proof of service form that the court required them to complete and sign**. Despite being given clear instructions and the correct document, they chose to complete and submit **their own proof of service form**, which the court would not accept. I contacted ABC Legal **approximately two weeks before my court date** and repeatedly explained that I needed the specific form I had provided to be completed and signed. I followed up again and again, making it clear that I needed the document **before 5:00 PM the day before court** so that I would have enough time to upload it to the court's website. Instead of addressing the issue promptly, I was given the runaround for two weeks. Then, despite my warning about the deadline, ABC Legal sent me the paperwork at approximately **9:00 PM the night before my court date**. Because the required proof of service was not properly completed and provided in the format required by the court, **my case was adjourned for another 60 days**. I now have to deal with having this person served again and wait another two months because ABC Legal failed to follow a very simple instruction that was provided to them from the beginning. I understand that serving someone can take multiple attempts, and I appreciate that they eventually completed the physical service. However, **serving the person is only part of the job when the court requires specific documentation to prove that service was properly completed.** If the customer provides the exact court-required form and specifically asks you to complete it, there should be no reason to substitute your own form without confirming that it will be accepted by the court. The frustrating part is that I gave ABC Legal **two full weeks to correct this issue before my court date**. I repeatedly explained the deadline and even warned them the day before court that I needed the signed document before 5:00 PM. Sending it at 9:00 PM that night was not helpful and left me with no realistic opportunity to resolve the issue before court. If you cannot follow the customer's instructions and provide the documentation required by the court, then what exactly am I paying $121 for? The service was only completed halfway. My case has now been delayed 60 additional days, and I have to spend more time and potentially more money correcting a problem that could have easily been avoided if ABC Legal had simply followed the instructions and completed the form I provided. My advice to anyone considering ABC Legal: make sure you verify exactly what proof of service your court requires and do not assume ABC Legal's standard paperwork will be accepted. If they cannot follow a simple instruction when you provide them with the exact form required, you may end up paying for a service that creates additional problems and delays your case. I would not use ABC Legal again based on this experience.
