I ordered the beef shawarma and really enjoyed it. I thought the meat was seasoned well and the portion was great for it being a wrap. I loved the cleanliness inside and friendly owner/staff. He also has 'tea' bags inside which are actually dates and he can tell you the story behind that process how he gets it imported. As for the the food, delicious and would definitely come back. I think we could always use more great quality Mediterranean restaurants in our area. Thank you!

Got the gyro plate and loved it. Gyro was cooked just how I like it, basmati rice was fluffy and perfect, garlic sauce was excellent, and the hummus with olive oil was spot on. Salad was fresh too. Tahini was a bit runny, but it pairs well with the garlic sauce. Will order again!

My first time trying Laith's and I'm beyond impressed. I was greeted by the Owner who was super friendly, explaining the menu, along with some of his recommendations. Which led me to order the Chicken Shawarma Plate. I didn't even need to try the food to know it was good because two customers were leaving as I was walking in and they thanked him for the meal. The community the owner and this restaurant is amassing is inspiring. To no surprise the food turned out to be really good too. I loved the seasoning on the chicken shawarma paired with the sauces that come with it: hot sauce, garlic sauce, and I believe a yogurt sauce. The babaganoush was loaded with a generous amount of olive oil which brought out the eggplant. The cucumber salad was delicious. Nice and light and balanced with the feta cheese on top. From a small menu dedicated to consistency to everything being made to order, Laith's really is a standout Mediterranean spot.

I've frequented Laith's a few times now and can confidently say their food is consistently amazing each time. With it being located in a strip mall along Carson St, people will overlook it but do yourself a favor and swing by. This spot is such a hidden gem and there are seldom Mediterranean spots in Carson, and I am grateful this place exists. I love getting the Beef Shawarma Wrap with hot sauce and garlic sauce, the meat is cooked to perfection and the flavors are on point (plus the servings are very generous!) The chicken option is great as well! The staff are very hospitable and you feel very taken care of here. Please come by and support this great small business.

Absolutely amazing and consistent Mediterranean food. Owner Laith pays attention to detail and consistency of food for each customer. I've been here twice and loved it each time. Laith's is located in the Carson Bonita Plaza and is very easy to park in. The storefront has inside seating but is also a good grab and go spot. What sets them apart from others is their food is number one really flavorful, they don't use a meat rotisserie cooker, it's freshly made to order the meats. They also have Date shakes which are very healthy and shake that most businesses don't serve. I'm a big beef guy so I got their beef shawarma plate the first time I went and a beef shawarma wrap the second time. The flavors in the wrap were mindblowing. The pita is very very good along with their hummus. Their hummus hands down is one of the best and I'm not just saying that! Laith also recommended the Falafel which I've never really enjoyed before. Here at Laith's it was great, very crispy on the outside and soft in the inside and it wasn't greasy at all. We finished the meal with their sweet Baklava, so good. Need to try their chicken and date shakes the next time I stop by.

While looking for something to eat, we hopped on Yelp for good Mediterranean food and this place popped up -- Laith's Mediterranean. It's a small establishment with just a few tables and, at the moment, no wait staff. The owners, a husband and wife team, were very friendly. They are the chefs and also take care of the customers, which gave the place a very welcoming, personal feel. The vibe is more fast-casual. You can order on a tablet or place your order directly with the owner. The menu isn't very extensive, but everything we tried was really good. I ordered the chicken and beef shawarma, falafel, basmati rice, and an assortment of sauces. The portions were generous, and the food was flavorful and satisfying. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely come back again.

Got the Cucumber Salad and the Chicken Shawarma Wrap (hold the pickles). Everything was delicious. Fresh ingredients in the salad. The mild acidic dressing helped balance the richness from the feta cheese. The pita was nice and soft. The meat was seasoned well. Putting it all together (with the lettuce, tomatoes and garlic sauce) makes for a tasty bite. Also, it was a good-sized wrap. The hot sauce does have some lingering heat. Service was super friendly. No issues on parking.

We were in Carson and decided to look for a Mediterranean food spot. We lucked up and found Laith's just a mile away. When we walked in we were greeted by one of the really nice owners, he walked us through the menu and made recommendations. We decided on the shawarma chicken and beef combo plate with rice, cucumber salad and hummus. There's a seating area with tables and chairs. We wanted to enjoy the food while it was hot so we sat there; the food was fresh, delicious and the portion was huge! I typically can only tolerate a spoonful of hummus but Laith's house made hummus was creamy and flavorful, I couldn't help but to dip my pita in it. The chicken was my favorite but I'm bias because I'm not much of a beef person. The falafels were good as well. I was bummed that we only ate one each and I accidentally threw away the rest of them. They have garlic butter, spicy saucy and tzatziki which were all good. There's plenty of parking in the lot and you can get your order to go as well. I will be back for sure.

My wife went in to try it out and was amazed at how good the chicken Shawarma was. She brought home half for me to try and, WOW! We went back a couple of days later for more! Went here for the first time today and I gotta say this place is so underrated. Usually you come to a coffee shop and it's either the drinks are good but the food isn't, or the food is good but the drinks are okay. This place really does specialize in both. The owner is so incredibly kind. I mean so incredibly kind. He's so passionate about what he does and you can see it. The ambiance is nice and clean and has a little market upfront. I now found my new place for Mediterranean food! The falafels are the best you'll ever have. So moist and fresh.. it's his mom's recipe! Had the Mix Grill Combo Plate with Tabouleh Salad, Basmati Rice, Cucumber Salad, Garlic Sauce, Tahini Sauce, Hummus, and Pita. Came here for lunch and the food didn't disappoint. The owner was very nice. Eventhough he was busy he smiled, took the order, and said it would take 10 minutes. But the food was ready quicker than 10 mins. The Chicken Shawarma plate i had was hot and delicious. It seemed like the restaurant was run by two people, but the vibe in there was chill and relaxing. Small place that shares the storefront with another business. There are 3 tables: 2 small duos and one big for 6-8 small people. We got: Gyro plate with rice, hummus, baba ganoush: 9/10, good portion, rice was not too oily like borjstar (though theirs is still very good), gyro sliced thin and had good flavor, hummus good, baba ganoush nice and deep flavor and pita was good. Beef shawarma plate with rice, hummus, baba ganoush: 9/10 same as above. Compared to borjstar in Gardena, the beef shawarma was more heavily seasoned. Total was around 38 bucks and my friend and I ate til we were full and each had a half to quarter plate to bring home. We ain't huge tho, just a couple of 150-160# Asian dudes. They do charge 3% fee for using card but meh I figure they get back the 3% cash back most people's cards are giving em so no harm no foul. I'd say a good option to borjstar but this place also sells some special coffees, smoothies, and health shots (drinks). I was contemplating a coffee or smoothie but was already rocking a drink when I came in. Owner or employee was hella nice and came out to give us more pita and sauces on the house just because he figured we had too little pita for both the hummus and baba ganoush. I wouldn't expect it next time but it was a kind gesture. read more

Great coffee, great food, great service. The owner was sweet and very proud of the quality of his food. I ordered a Cardamom Latte which he informed me he only uses date syrup as a sweetener, and kindly asked my preferred level of sweetness. He also warned there is texture to the coffee due to roasted date seed, but I enjoyed it, it's very subtle. It worked wonders as my afternoon pick-me-up. read more

I recommend grabbing lunch or dinner at Laith's Cafe (Mediterranean). It's in the strip mall by the Starbucks across the street. Super casual place. I'm not much for writing reviews but this food is phenomenal with generous portions. The owner, Laith and his wife, are the friendliest people. They also roast their own date seeds and brew real coffee and date coffee. read more

My go-to spot for Mediterranean food in Carson. The food is on-point and underrated. Almost tempted to gatekeep, but this place deserves to be recognized for its great flavors and quality. History

Established in 2024.

We opened our first location in January 2024 with a simple goal: to serve fresh, authentic Mediterranean food to our community. We started small — inside a local market with a small kitchen, just 2 tables and 8 seats. Most of our orders were to-go, but our customers’ incredible support and loyalty helped us grow faster than we ever imagined. In addition to our traditional Mediterranean dishes, we’re proud to offer our popular healthy date shakes, made with quality ingredients and full of flavor. Thanks to the amazing support from our community, we moved into our own nearby location in January 2026. Now, with 24 seats and a space we can truly call our own, we’re excited to offer a more comfortable dine-in experience while continuing to serve the same great food and friendly service you’ve come to love. We’re grateful for everyone who has supported us from the beginning and look forward to welcoming new faces to our growing family.

My name is Laith, and my journey into food started in 2015 when I began importing date seed coffee from Jordan to the United States. Sharing this unique drink with people made me realize how much I enjoy bringing happiness to others through good food and drinks. Seeing how much people appreciated the flavors inspired me to turn that passion into something bigger. Through my experience importing from Jordan, I built relationships with trusted suppliers and learned how to source authentic ingredients from the Middle East. That journey eventually led me to start Laith’s Mediterranean, where I share authentic Middle Eastern flavors with the community. The best part for me is still seeing people enjoy the food and hearing how much they love it.
