Dr. found an infected wisdom tooth which had been missed by my previous dentist. Recommendation for a deep cleaning. That was done in two visits by Keri, who is a real pro. I no longer have an infection. This is the best dental experience I've ever had. Other than a nice rib eye and some corn on the cob.

The dentist themselves were great, but the woman in the office that handles billing is the problem…read more We have double dental insurance, and she informed us that they won't file the secondary insurance that we have to pay out-of-pocket then they can help us file it and when they get paid, they will pay us. In Scottsdale and Phoenix and everywhere else I've lived. I've never had a dental office or doctor refuse to just file the secondary insurance and make you pay what Wen insurance covers only... My dentist in Scottsdale NEVER did that. She made my life harder. It was more work for her, so she didn't want to do it. So I went in and talked to her face-to-face and she said it's something they experimenting with and not to worry about it they would file it for my husband. I told her that paying out-of-pocket isn't ideal when you have double insurance. I mean 30 days later you get paid. But she said they would work it out this time and when my husband came in, she went behind my back and charged him. Not what we talked about!! And I personally don't like being lied to my face. So then they filed the secondary insurance and I had to wait 30 days and monitor it. Just one more thing I have to keep up with... That I shouldn't have to... Once I saw that it was paid, I waited 10 more days without hearing anything from them so I sent an email and told them that I saw that thet had been paid and I would come by and pick up the payment. Again, more work for me to monitor and now ask when they're going to pay me? She said 7 to 10 days... Well, 10 days of nothing. I mean, she demanded payment from my husband before they would treat him, so why should they sit on my money? So they replied to the email and said it would be 7 to 10 days. And I responded back. I would come pick it up that day. They could just cut me a check. It had already been 7 to 10 days, and after all they made my husband pay the day he went in. And they created all this extra work and stress for me... She doesn't want to do her job. And she doesn't want to make it easier on the customer. She even told me it was harder for her... So then I assume that she tells the dentist that I am a problem and they send me a letter saying they're going to discontinue us as customers. Well, good riddance. If the doctor doesn't want to hear the other side of the story and wants to hear this mouthy woman in the office. Go for it. So this really isn't a surprise. But it is quite disappointing. I mean how freaking hard is it to just file the secondary insurance? But they'd rather lose customers. So just sharing our story. Good luck if you go here. Because she's not very friendly and she doesn't want to do her job. But the dentist themselves were great, but apparently are listening to one side of the story from a lazy office person who doesn't want to help the customer. Goodbye. I'm sure I'll find another dentist office that will gladly do their job and not make life hard harder on me.

Worst Dental Visit I've ever Had - Wasted time, unnecessary dental work, and terrible service…read more I booked an appointment here since it had a high Google review and was conveniently located next to my house and within my insurance. I had previously called and confirmed billing, insurance, and that I would be getting a cleaning at the same appointment. However, all changed upon arriving at the office for my basic cleaning and checkup. I had a terrible experience from start to finish. I was told that I had too much inflammation in my gums for a basic cleaning, so I would have to come back to have that scheduled in a separate visit for a premium cost (detailed cleaning). Additionally, I was told that I needed multiple crowns and had 5 cavities. Instantly I knew something wasn't right, as I've only ever had two cavities in my entire life. The dentist was defensive, rude, and insulted me by claiming I had bad dental health and didn't do good home care for my dental health. In total, I was told I needed to make 5 dental appointments, totaling $3000+ out of pocket, $8000+ total... Rather than trust that opinion, I trusted my gut and I waited 6 months for my insurance to allow me to go have a dental check elsewhere. I was told by a reputable dentist that I only had two new cavities, required no crowns, and didn't have much gum inflammation, thus they did the basic cleaning that same day; In total I only had $700 for my entire treatment out of pocket. The teeth that dentist of vail said needed crowns, were not even cavities according to this other dentist. So go to Dentists of Vail if you want to waste thousands of dollars on dental work you don't need, while being insulted and lied to by staff, or go somewhere else, literally anywhere else would be better... Go to Dentists of Vail if you want to have: -Unnecessary dental work -Waste thousands of dollars -Be gaslighted and insulted by staff -Waste your time by waiting months for another dentist to give you a honest treatment under your benefits

I sent this message to one of the owners (no response after more than 48 hours):…read more "I walk into the office five minutes late. My chihuahua got underfoot and made me spill something and I couldn't just leave it. I hustle out of my house, only a few minutes away, and when I get inside the door, I'm waiting behind two people in front of me that we're being helped and I noticed my phone ringing. It's on silent, but I can see it is from your business. I don't answer because I'm standing there waiting to get waited on. The two ladies at the front desk, both got up and walked away after they helped the people in front of me. No doubt there was a reason for it, but by the time they came back, it was now past 10:40. Anyway, the voicemail tells me I'm too late to be helped today because you need to accommodate other appointments. Ridiculous. I've waited more than five minutes at this office on many occasions and I didn't complain that I had other things to do and could you please hurry up. Then the person helping me at the front desk, apparently goes and talks to Heather. She comes back and says that when Heather called I was not standing in the office yet (she can see through walls, apparently). To suggest that I was not standing inside the office while I was looking at my phone with the message coming through is calling me a liar and reasonably insulting. I've never had a customer service business be this unforgiving and unreasonable in my lifetime. Your business has accommodated me when I've had crazy issues come up before so I was not expecting this level of rudeness and lack of professionalism. Very disappointed. "
