Dr. Barney has been my dentist and all 3 of my kids wound go also. My children are grown now and have moved out of State, they literally will schedule an appointment for cleaning when they come home to visit. - that says a Lot! Dr. Barney, & now Dr Hall have never tried to get me to do procedures just to "make money" for them. They are honest and friendly and I would never go to anyone else!! 5

I no longer have an infection. This is the best dental experience I've ever had. Other than a nice rib eye and some corn on the cob.

The dentist themselves were great, but the woman in the office that handles billing is the problem…read more We have double dental insurance, and she informed us that they won't file the secondary insurance that we have to pay out-of-pocket then they can help us file it and when they get paid, they will pay us. In Scottsdale and Phoenix and everywhere else I've lived. I've never had a dental office or doctor refuse to just file the secondary insurance and make you pay what Wen insurance covers only... My dentist in Scottsdale NEVER did that. She made my life harder. It was more work for her, so she didn't want to do it. So I went in and talked to her face-to-face and she said it's something they experimenting with and not to worry about it they would file it for my husband. I told her that paying out-of-pocket isn't ideal when you have double insurance. I mean 30 days later you get paid. But she said they would work it out this time and when my husband came in, she went behind my back and charged him. Not what we talked about!! And I personally don't like being lied to my face. So then they filed the secondary insurance and I had to wait 30 days and monitor it. Just one more thing I have to keep up with... That I shouldn't have to... Once I saw that it was paid, I waited 10 more days without hearing anything from them so I sent an email and told them that I saw that thet had been paid and I would come by and pick up the payment. Again, more work for me to monitor and now ask when they're going to pay me? She said 7 to 10 days... Well, 10 days of nothing. I mean, she demanded payment from my husband before they would treat him, so why should they sit on my money? So they replied to the email and said it would be 7 to 10 days. And I responded back. I would come pick it up that day. They could just cut me a check. It had already been 7 to 10 days, and after all they made my husband pay the day he went in. And they created all this extra work and stress for me... She doesn't want to do her job. And she doesn't want to make it easier on the customer. She even told me it was harder for her... So then I assume that she tells the dentist that I am a problem and they send me a letter saying they're going to discontinue us as customers. Well, good riddance. If the doctor doesn't want to hear the other side of the story and wants to hear this mouthy woman in the office. Go for it. So this really isn't a surprise. But it is quite disappointing. I mean how freaking hard is it to just file the secondary insurance? But they'd rather lose customers. So just sharing our story. Good luck if you go here. Because she's not very friendly and she doesn't want to do her job. But the dentist themselves were great, but apparently are listening to one side of the story from a lazy office person who doesn't want to help the customer. Goodbye. I had a disappointing experience trying to schedule a consultation with this orthodontic office…read more When I called, Stephanie told me she was unable to verify my insurance eligibility or benefits at that time but assured me she would call me back on June 30 with an update and help schedule my consultation in July. It is now the following day, and I have still not received any call or follow-up. I understand that delays can happen, a simple update would have been appreciated, and unfortunately, this lack of follow-through has left a poor first impression of the office.

This place is an absolute scam. The prices are astronomical, they recommend the most expensive…read moreprocedures and damage teeth and gums. They find "cavities" so they need to charge more (yes, even on three-year-olds) - please get a second opinion, especially on your children's teeth. Then, they will send you a random bill YEARS after the fact with no information on it and expect you to pay after you've already paid thousands for the "care" that did more damage than you started with. The receptionists are very nice, though.

After taking x-rays and consulting with Dr. Bollard, they determined I needed another deep cleaning. So they didn't even do my biannual cleaning since they wanted me to schedule the deep cleaning at a cost to me of $780. I will not be going back.
