Food: extremely flavorful and delicious. The spice levels did not disappoint. I wish I could have tried everything on the menu. Cocktails: okay, would be more fun if they were more unique. Ambiance: this place was packed even when we had our reservation at 21:30. Would definitely recommend a reservation, not sure how long the wait would have been.

Dishoom pays homage to the food of Bombay, and I was thrilled that they serve such a large and extensive breakfast menu! The restaurant is huge and beautiful - with lots of art deco touches! The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The restaurant just had great vibes - even the smell of the place (incense mixing with their delicious food) was great. I had their Kejriwal (two fried eggs on chilli cheese toast - "a modern favourite of the Willingdon Club in Tardeo, reputedly named for the member who kept asking for the dish, since he was not allowed eggs at home"), which was delicious. My husband had their bacon & egg naan roll with a side of masala beans, which he loved (he's even been trying to recreate the beans at home since we got back from London). With a large menu of other options and tons of beverage options (from alcoholic brunch options to chai to iced coffee), they have everything you could want for a great breakfast. We had a great breakfast at this Kensington location of Dishoom. I'd happily return to one of their other locations and have any meal - breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

All of them enjoyed the food dishes I ordered, only things I would improve are the prices have increased significantly and especially adding on the 10% eat-in charge, so for four of us the bill was just under 70 pounds. The crispy bhajia portion was a lot smaller than I had expected it to be. Next time I visit the mandir will try the cafe next to it and see how the snacks are.

This restaurant was clean with good service. My mother in law had the buffet which was a whole smorgasboard of diff types of food for only £12.99. Hubby ordered the paneer masala with rice and i had the aubergine curry with chili naan. All of the dishes were good but the aubergine curry was amazing and different than mos tother dishes I've had. There wasnt too much oil and it felt nutritious. I will absolutely be back when I visit the temple for a reasonably priced delicious meal ---for three people with non-alcoholic drinks it came to £33 -- a deal! Outside the restaurant is a sweets takeaway area, i was finally able to get some of the sweets i crave!!!
