    Loco moco yummy

Never a wait- seat yourself. We ate there twice during our stay. I tried the loco moco and my husband had the poke salad first time. 2nd visit I tried the cheeseburger and my husband had the fish and chips. Fish was a little dry but overall we enjoyed it. Good service as well. Very quick.

I had the fish tacos, worst tacos I've ever had my entire life, the tortillas were stale and cold, the fish portion barely 2 small pieces that were super dry and chewy, there was no avocado in the tacos as listed on the menu. $24 for only two small tacos was a joke. If the prices are that high I'd expect better quality and taste.

nasty dishes and overpriced menu *DONT CONE HERE*

dont come here its overpriced just for them to NOT WASH THEIR DISHES!! pls go somewhere else

The Lagoon Grill is worth the price of admission, which is free by the way! While enjoying burgers and tacos here at Lagoon Grill, Dolphin Quest is steps away. The entire time we enjoyed drinks and bites, we watched the Dolphins swimming, jumping and performing fun Dolphin tricks. The kids absolutely loved this lunch outing. What a cool if not unintended experience. This open air restaurant is a great experience. Not only great lunch menu but being surrounded by the lagoons with water activities and then the lagoon encapsulating the Dolphins. The waitstaff is wonderful and this place is bustling with happiness. Win win

Fish and chips Small pieces of fish. But tasty.

As a part of the Waikoloa village, this place is one of the few choices available to Hilton's guests for lunch. Similar to other places in the village, it is very overpriced. That's the main negative point. The view is beautiful. You see the ocean while you dine. The service is timely and friendly. We ordered Poke salad, Fish and chips, and chicken katsu sandwich. The food was good. Well prepared and tasty. The portion size is small. Overall, a good place for a lunch if you don't mind paying too much.

Food is good, nothing amazing; service is great - super quick and super friendly staff. Main drawback is the price Pictured - asian chicken salad and tuna melt

Service is super fast! Ordered food and the turnaround time was amazing. Had the kimchi burger that was super juicy. Everyone in my group was happy. If you use the hgv experiences card, it is only ONE complimentary drink per card. The fish tacos were really pretty. The burger (medium cooked) was juicy and the bun was a kind of sweet bread! Paired very well with the kimchi. My group preferred the regular fries over the sweet potato fries.

I'm not one to go to poolside bars and restaurants as the food is overpriced and average. However, Lagoon Grill was definitely worth every penny spent and super tasty. I went here with a friend and can say we finished our plates and left with a full stomach. The portions are generous and the staff are friendly. The only downside is that the food is a little pricey but you have to think it's at a hotel. I'm still impressed at how good the food was and will definitely be back if I'm at the Hilton.

Elpidio may need a nudge to be fun, but he was enjoyable. Scotty is a joy. Nice to be out of the sun and refreshed. Yes prices are crazy. Yes you chose resort life. Leave the resort if you wanted more reasonable. Fish tacos did the trick - not the best on the island.

The food was horrible. We ordered the calamari/ coconut shrimp. It was the worst I've had. A knotted ball of food

The chicken was tender and flavorful with a nice grilled taste, and the steak was surprisingly juicy and well seasoned. The portions were generous, and the rice and mac salad made it a filling meal. The staff was also friendly and welcoming. They were patient while we were deciding what to order and made us feel comfortable. Outside the food court, there's a beautiful pond with lots of big colorful koi fish and some clean tables where you can sit and eat. The food court isn't huge, but it has several restaurants, restrooms, and an ATM. Overall, a nice and convenient place to stop for a meal while exploring the Big Island.

Shaoling H was the cashier. Ordered our first meal of the day late afternoon, so I was starving…read more Lunch was decently priced, but ended up being subpar with dry rice and not the best looking mac salad. The food was not consistent with the L&L brand. The saving grace was the plentiful pieces of chicken katsu that came with the plate lunch. What was most upsetting was the customer service. I noticed their soda fountain dispenser also had water, so when I asked for a water cup mid-meal, Shaoling said the cups are small and looked at my table. Seeing I had a refillable bottle, she said to use that. I said the water wasn't for me but for someone else from my party, and I ordered and paid for the food for my table. She continued to refuse saying they didn't make a purchase, so they can't have a cup for water. What kind of human would deny a paying customer something so basic as a single small water cup on a hot and humid day? If she said I'd have to pay a few cents for the cup, that would've been reasonable. There was no reasoning with Shaoling. What a dehumanizing experience! I was appalled and totally regret ordering from here. This interaction happened mid-meal and I lost my appetite. Eating the rest for later would've reminded me of this experience. Food should be comforting, not remind you of a stressful situation. I had no qualms tossing the rest of this subpar meal. Shaoling (or management if this is how they train their servers) didn't seem to realize that saving a few cents on a small cup would cost them in the long run. I never plan to return, and if you're reading this, do yourself a favor, and find another spot to eat.
