We were recommended this restaurant by our local host. We are vegetarian and were excited by a page in the menu dedicated to vegetarian dishes. The venue is tucked away, with nice alfresco area. We were served promptly and our starter of bruschetta arrived shortly thereafter. It was lovely and fresh.
Things started to slide from here. It was a bit of a wait to our next dishes. We had the saffron gnocchi which was more cheese and saffron could not be tasted, a side of vegetables which was a plate of wilted spinach, and the ravioli which was nice. Bread was not served (seemingly except to locals) despite caperto being charged.
It then took 20 minutes to pay our bill, having received it. We finally had to go to the counter to pay ("sorry, I forgot").
Hopefully this was a once-off, and others have a better experience. read more
