Went back the 2nd night because it was so good, got the chicken parm sandwich and it was 1) humongous and 2) very tasty. About to go down again tonight for round 3. If you're staying at the Hilton, you can't beat this. (Getting the wings again - so good).

I did have to instruct him that the first step in a proper martini was to ice the glass. But he readily accepted the suggestions. There is a short but adequate wine selection. The alcohol selection needs to be expanded, but they have Oban which is a plus. I've been subjected to many worse hotel bars/restaurants.

Hostess was friendly as well as our server. We had the waffle fry nachos to start, then I had the grilled turkey tips (they were wonderful!) and my husband had the truffle Mac and cheese with pulled pork. - he did say the pork was a little dry, but asked for some bbq sauce and he said that helped. Restaurant and bathrooms were nice and clean and I loved the simple decor. If you're in the area I would definitely give the Oak barrel Tavern a try!

Although the food wasn't bad, there were errors that cannot be overlooked…read more Our reservation was for 8:30 on a Saturday. We were seated on time, which was nice. Our waiter was good. Unfortunately that's were the positives end. The restaurant in unbearably loud. They start you off with bread and unseasoned oil which is weird, no parmesean, chili flakes, oregano? Nothing, just olive oil. We started with calamari, which was mostly tenticles, I don't mind this, but my wife only likes the rings. My wife ordered the surf and turf, I ordered the FraDiavlo. The food came out in decent time. Which can be added to the good column. Upon delivery the first thing we noticed is that the chef cut the steak in half. This caused the juices to run out leaving it dry, the surf was 3 shrimp, which seemed like they are precooked and used for either cocktail or this dish as they were chewy. My guess is they are precooked, chilled and brushed with oil and herbs before broiling to warm them up. The FraDiavlo lacked any hint of chili pepper and I had to request chili flakes just to make it edible. It consisted of 2 scallops, 4 shrimp and 2 chick lobster pincher claws. In summary, under seasoned, over cooked food in a place where you can't hear yourself think. Plans on spending upwards of $200 if you want wine or dessert. We won't be returning as there are far better restaurants in the area.

Visited Via Italian Table for a company dinner, and it was a great choice for a group setting…read more The location is easy to spot! Sits at an angle on the street and is well lit from outside. Once inside, the lighting shifts to a nicely dimmed atmosphere that still feels comfortable and easy to navigate. We had a separate area for our group, and it was spacious enough to move around and mingle without feeling cramped, which I really appreciated. We had a three-course, set menu, and I started with the chicken soup. It was light and comforting, a great way to warm up the palate, especially since it was cold out that night. For my entrée, I chose the chicken parmesan. The chicken itself was crispy and not overly breaded, which I liked. I did wish there was a bit more sauce on the pasta, but overall it was still a solid dish. Dessert was cheesecake, which was nicely moist and topped with fresh berries. Our dinner also included complimentary drinks, and the service throughout the evening was very good. The staff was attentive and answered questions easily which was great for this larger dinner. Overall, Via Italian Table is a great option for company dinners or group events, but I'd also stop back in on my own even if just for a light drink at the bar.

This was a strange Christmas this year, and I didn't feel like cooking for the family…read more Fortunately, I ordered the Holiday Dinner for four to go from Skybokx - it's new this year. I ordered the pork loin that came with everything that you need for the total meal. And wow! I'm normally skeptical about meats that are pre-cooked and prepared mashed potatoes as they can sometimes be too salty. But this did not disappoint - it was NOT too salty and just perfectly seasoned. After 2 days of leftovers, the pork was still incredibly moist. And, the mashed potatoes were unbelievable, and stuffing was really a creative and tasty recipe. And this portion for four - easily could have served 8 with a few more vegetables and rolls added by me. My family was thrilled - and I would definitely do this again! Thank you!

So while in Marlborough I stopped by and thought how bad can it be..? I was like 10 min away and got a burger (tried to) get one for my companion that was medium rare. Was told that they can't give takeout orders as that temperature cause they continue to cook in the container.....the container is the burger wrapped in foil in a paper box..never heard that from ANY restaurant so they must have unique patties..-anyway..got that burger and it was a hockey puck and for $25 come on at least give it the temp I request instead of a culinary abomination for the price. First off the patties (as others complained re: the beef ones) are so tiny and thin and I usually don't like the toppings on the new one but this burger was so small and sad and lacking ANY toppings so I ate it cause it was basically a tuna steak on a soggy bun with like 10 shaved carrot slaw pieces. Ugh. I will not be returning the prices are oof for what you get. My meal should have been like $14 max. It was $21. I wish I took a picture because it was so sad you would have to see it to believe it.
