Very nice hall. The sound is awesome. I will be going again. My nephew is playing in the orchestra.

Pros: Came here for The Naked Magicians and had a blast; was able to find free parking fairly…read moreeasily (lots of parking lots/garages nearby that were inexpensive--$10 for the evening); smaller, intimate venue; pretty much every seat is a good seat with a good view the way the venue is set up; friendly customer service--both in person and over the phone; checked in quickly; would definitely recommend/return Cons: Kind of an older theater; does not have a parking garage if its own; built on a hill, which can be challenging for some; limited food options (snacks and alcohol, but no real entrees); I believe no food/drink allowed in theater

Attended my first event there, Carol King & James Taylor musical show. Very interesting venue, it…read morewas built in 1918 and the design reflects the affluence of the time after WW1. It's a former movie theater in its time. The molding in the auditorium is fascinating. The venue seats 750, the show was sold out last night. The auditorium is white and yellow, These colors give it a sterile feeling. Whenever I go to a venue I always note the number of emergency exits. The auditorium had two on each side of the stage. This venue is located on a steep hill in downtown Tacoma, the entrance to the venue has not been altered to today's standards so it's two double doors with a several steps up from the sidewalk. When the show was over all 750 of us funneled out of the theater via the double door entrance. I was stunned, had there been a fire trampling would occur, the small lobby we funneled thru there was a set of emergency exit doors. I truly felt my safety was at risk as we were all trying to exit via a set of two doors. I was trying to understand why the two doors in the auditorium were not open as an option to exit. The show was great I just really question the exit strategy.

So.........restaurant business is hard! We love this place but the food is I feel barely hanging on…read moreand it is more of a community comfort food place. Which there is nothing wrong with that. The service is ways excellent here!!!! The vibe of this place is amazing. The jambalaya and cornbread is so mouth watering it would make you not share it with your one family. But here is the tea!!! I can see where some of the food needs improvement but most restaurants these days are in the same situation. There are items I would not order again but others I love and a person must pick and choose their own individual items based on their preferences. I appreciate the restaurant being in busy and please get your food rating back to Great! Because Fair had me a bit side ways. Has always thank you all for your support and please continue to stay safe and healthy out there! See you at my next bite :0)

We had an amazing server - Jenny. Such great hospitality!!!!.It was obvious this place has a lot of…read moreregulars and the entire staff was loving on everyone like we're all family. I ordered PAC SOUTH omelette. No green onions, chose hash browns instead of toast and had side biscuit and gravy. Unfortunately the hash browns were really crackly dry. Maybe I should've had the red potatoes instead. The Omelette was surprisingly good. The sweetness of the pork with the bbq sauce was fascinating and tasty. If I had it again I'd ask to add a squirt of bbq inside or ask for more sauce on top. Hubby ordered the Shrimp and Grits. They were great and better than most places we've had them out. Hubby crumbled his side of bacon on top. They were Creamy, savory, cheesy and served piping hot. Jenny said sometimes people ask to add andouille sausage or catfish on top. Last - OMG that was a THICK biscuit! It was super dense. The gravy was delicious. But the biscuit takes up most the room on the plate. So my gravy to biscuit ratio was off. I still took half my omelet and half my biscuit in a to go box. Left the hash browns. They have BIG portions. Amazing atmosphere and service. If you come in from the front door there is a small counter seating area as well as booths and tables. Beyond that main room there is more space in the back. Keeping this place on the list for sure!!!
