This joint tries hard to make it difficult for customers. And they succeed. Wanted to order a pizza and some slices. No phone number, online only. OK... but online ordering does not allow for half/half orders. So, I drive 20 minutes to order in person. Turns out they don't allow half/half orders because it is 'too difficult'. ??? Every other pizza joint in the country has figured this out - but not this place. So precious. So stupid. At the end of the day, the best Ladybug could do for me to feed three people three slices of pizza... was to order three whole pizzas at $32 a pop ($96 total plus tax and tip). The guy working at the counter said this with a straight face. Sorry, but the two $8.59 pizzas I bought at the grocery store one block over worked just fine. Get real. Get a phone number. I really liked this pizza. It's a quick stop For lunch. They sell by the slice or whole pizza. The crust is wood fired thin and crispy...so good! Slices are large and 1 is filling. The tomato sauce is nice and mild and does not overpower the other ingredients. No ambiance here..you stand in line and order and they bring out on a paper plate. As a local we've been multiple times., Pros: Attentive & careing owner Pizza is very good Salad is very good (basic) Can sit outside with dogs Cons (I believe with the business being so new and possible lack of staff these could change) No split pizzas. Makes it difficult to order for small groups. No changes are able to be made either. This is hard for vegetarians and people with allergies. Came in 20/25 mins to close one night. Only 1 slice of cheese and 2 veggie slices left, no fresh pizzas and a line out the door. We left it for the kids behind us and left and didn't eat. Previous time we went in I got a slice and it wasn't warmed up, so not very enjoyable. Cold pizza. As Orcas has a limited supply of restaurants it's hard to say if things will change on the cons side of things: They seem to be busy and doing well. We will continue to eat here but would enjoy it more frequently with a few changes and consistency and availability. read more

Prefacing this by stating there are issues with staffing because of a lack of affordable housing on the islands. With that stated, here's how my visit went. Score breakdown. -1 for lack of kosher service. -1 for lack of compassion when reminded of kosher's importance +1 for a diversity of slices, even if many were not kosher +1 for payment options, including credit cards and contactless. +1 for accuracy of order Background. During a normal weekend day, we visited during the traditional dinner time (e.g. between 5 - 7 pm). Our goal was simple. To recover a couple slices of veggie pizza. Note, I was well aware they also served up cheese, pepperoni, meat and vegetable combination, and veggie pizzas. But it didn't bother me this wasn't a truly vegan pizzeria. I'd like to point out the restaurant was half, if not 2/3 empty, and there was only one other person in front of us ordering slices. So, not that busy. The overall look and feel of the place feels goes and is inviting to families of different sizes and denominations. In a queue, I ordered a couple of vegan slices and my friend ordered a couple of pepperoni slices. As I looked at the register, I saw someone scoop up two vegan slices and put them on a tray before putting two pepperoni slices on the same tray. In the middle of paying, I let someone know they shouldn't put vegan on the same tray as pepperoni. Dumbfounded, the employee holding the tray put them in the small oven to reheat. No one at this point asked if I preferred them reheated separately. After this, I told my friend, who ordered the pepperoni slices, they could have mine. I didn't eat anything there. I'd like to point out, during this exchange, no one apologized or even inquired why I made a point to mention the kosher importance. Instead, they responded with a sense of confusion. I'd like to point out, I didn't escalate things to a manager. Because if I have to go to that level, then the business has already lost me. Also, no one apologized afterwards. If you are like me, who has chosen a lifestyle that excludes meat, then you probably should skip this place for a quick slice. If you couldn't care less, then you'll fit right in. I'm gonna skip this place on the next trip. read more

All I wanted was a nice lil cranky drank with my broskies, and what do I find?!? A "marked up" price for 6 simpleton beers that I wanted to enjoy with my friends. Never in my life have I spent more on a mere six pack of beer, PREPOSTEROUS!! WHAT!?!! 40 bones for 6 ciders, are you off you're rocker? I couldn't find a worse deal anywhere in the entire globe.
