I would highly recommened Ladybug Florist for a million reasons: I met this wonderful mother-daughter duo at the Worcester Wedding Expo. I shared my vision of a unique, mushroom and moss themed bouquet for my wedding day. Sharen imediately started coming up with idea after idea for me. A few months later I met with them for a consult at the Oxford location. Sharen and her daughter helped me through so many choices including picking the exact color roses. She special ordered preserved shelf mushrooms for the bouquets and found adorable foam mushrooms for the boutonniere . The pricing was the best I found especially for such unique items! On the wedding day they delivered and set up several gorgeous arrangements as well as the wedding party's items and of course my bouquet. It was hassle free with no issues and displayed so beautifully in the room I was getting ready in. The flowers were gorgeous and oh so unique! Don't understand all the good reviews. Must be people the owner knows. My daughter and I had a horrible experience. The venue we had the wedding at uses this business for the centerpieces which was included in the price. From the first moment you walk in, it smelled like marijuana. It was incredibly strong and completely turned me off. We met with the owner. She was very nice but she was not helpful in the least bit and very flighty. She had no books or pictures of what she has to offer for arrangements. When we showed her what our daughter liked, she had every excuse of why she couldn't do the same thing. Couldn't get same flowers, some were fake, etc etc. She caused so much stress for us. We wanted to have an arrangement around a lantern that the venue offers. She said she doesn't have the ring the flowers go around and we would have to buy it. If she is the main florist for this venue & knows they offer lanterns for the tables, why would she not have these in stock? She wouldn't respond to the emails my daughter sent her but she did respond to me. She constantly confused me and stated in the email she had surgery & wasn't in the store. She never mentioned she was having surgery when we met with her. We went back and forth with her many times and she kept giving us different, conflicting information. She told my daughter she needs to talk to the baker for the flowers on the cake and when my daughter called the venue to request to speak to him, she was told we don't speak to the baker. The florist is supposed to handle the flowers on the cake. We ended up using her just for the basics & went through someone else for the rest who was amazing. The difference was 100 times better with the other florists. I do not recommend this place. read more

I had placed an order through a certain "1-800-floral-company" and they severely messed up the order and at the last second they informed me they couldn't deliver the flowers until weeks after I needed them, even though I had paid extra for them to be delivered next day (I'll never make that mistake again!). Either way, I called Ladybug Florist in a panic asking if they could somehow make a delivery the next day and not only did they deliver, but the bouquet they put together was absolutely beautiful. The woman I spoke to on the phone was so sweet and understanding! I would gladly support a small business like this rather than the big 1-800-chains that simply outsource the orders and practically scam people. I can't thank Ladybug Florist enough! read more

I ordered an arrangement for my mother in laws 60th birthday. $70 arrangement with Lillie's, roses, Ferber Daisy's greens etc...I received a call stating they didn't have all the flowers for that arrangement but they could make it look close. She received the arrangement and it looked awful...mainly carnations with two Lillie's, one looking rather awful and nothing like what I ordered. She called to complain as this was her third arrangement from them that wasn't what was ordered. I received a call from them stating that my mother in law called and hated her arrangement and they were going to pick it up. After calling the florist (after seeing the arrangement) I was horrified that is what the sent to her for $70. I asked for a refund and was granted the refund and the arrangement was picked up from the house read more

We are a business in Eastern CT and one of our employees lives in Webster close to Oxford. We needed to send a sympathy arrangement to the employee due to her mom's passing and relied on the internet to help make a decision about a florist. The reviews were very good for Ladybug florist so decided to call them. I couldn't be more pleased with their personal service. Knowing I was from out of the area, the salesgirl took my cell number so that she could share pictures with me of the green floor plants and dish gardens that I was inquiring about. She never made me feel rushed and wanted me to see lots of things! She made recommendations to me and I ultimately decided on the dish garden.
