I went for a consultation with Shaughnessy who is a wonderful artist and my brows were so gorgeous when they first were done. She told me it is typical to have a second treatment and it would be another $300 on top of the $1000 I have already spent. To pay another $300 for unsatisfactory results that were great at the beginning is totally unacceptable. It says the Studio does not stand behind their work and certainly doesn't provide customer satisfaction. I am soooo disappointed - this was my 75th birthday present to myself. I just walked out - So my advice : Beware : Ask what guarantees there are for the work to remain looking good - Surely for $1000, 7 weeks is not adequate!

She was patient with my many questions, thoroughly walked me through the process, and checked in throughout my appointment to make sure I liked the placement of the freckles. Her passion for her craft really shows. All around intelligent & fantastic. She's worth the drive from the states any day! Thank you, Studio Sashiko! 10/10 recommend. Also - if you're planning to do freckles, let your artist sneak a heart in somewhere. My favorite freckle of the entire bunch!

They had an artist (Shelby) who claimed to have a lot of experience turned out to have the worst…read moretattoo technique and care ever. They didn't put their very long hair up and it pretty much was touching client's skin. Didn't shade or add any grey ink and made the tattoo extremely bigger than it should along with the right side outer lines super noticeably thick. I'm shocked that the shop had such a careless artist working there. This is affecting client's confidence and appearance. And it was a cover with black ink. We trusted this shop because of the owner Mat, who has done great work on us in the past, and we originally wanted to book with him but was told by reception that Matt was really sick and not working anymore. He might have exaggerated and lied about that, because Matt shortly returned and she all of a sudden was gone (the receptionist was her husband). I didn't pay much attention to the tattoo until I was fully healed from a surgery I had and am too ashamed to tell my relative that it's a poor done tattoo and unnecessarily big, though they might know that. Shame on the place for having a tattoo artist like that working there, and for what they have caused.

The tattoo shop is clean and he uses proper sterilized equipment. He's creative, artistic, friendly, funny and very accommodating. The other artists in the studio are also very artistic and creative. It's a clean, fun, friendly environment and although Matt gets booked up and he takes awhile to get in to see, he's well worth the wait! The photos I've posted do no justice because they are just the beginning of the creation of the canvas and they aren't fully shaded in etc but I'll come back to post more updated photos. I recommend checking out this little gem of a tattoo shop in the heart of Langley. Big thumbs up to Matt!

He won't admit to making mistakes and frequently blames other artists for his poor quality work when relining or covering up. Good luck if you go there. While you probably won't get an infection, you may need some laser removal after the fact.
