Of all the managers I've encountered, Tamica is the very down to earth, respectful, and helpful. 2) Located between the outskirts of ktown and the start of Mid-City, the apartment is in a prime location for your daily activities. Good Korean food is just a few blocks away. The 10 is also a convenient distance away. 3) The price is probably the best part of living here. I have a two bedroom two bath apartment for the same price as most singles around the area. The location may seem a little grungy but the neighbors are extremely friendly, and in my time staying here, completely safe. Cons: 1) The location outside of the apartment may look kind of sketch. I was skeptical at first because it was located on "Crenshaw". But the complex is not located in the heart of Mid-City and once you're through the gate, it's like you are in a different neighborhood. You can walk outside but be smart about it. Not the streets of Irvine. All in all, a great place to live. If you are looking for a bustling, loud, animated place to live, this is not the place for you. Which was the amount of time we got from the owners of the house we were house sitting that they needed to move back in urgently!!! Prior to house sitting we had spent 2 years renting at Media Towers 2 - right across the road!! The day before we needed to vacate the house we were frantic to find a place and we just by chance drove past Media Towers. Kathleen the manager was there and I told her we needed a place the next day!!! As we were previous tenants we didn't have to run our credit or do the whole process as she knew us and we signed the lease that afternoon and moved in the next day!!! The process couldn't have been easier and was stress free!!! We were there for a year before we decided to move further west due to better schooling options for our son! We moved out in October 2019!!! Our apartment was way too big for us but our balcony was exceptional!!!! We wanted to downsize to a smaller apartment - we would still be there if we didn't need to move!!! The building is conveniently located to Hollywood and Downtown and close to the freeway. There were loads of homeless people around but at the time didn't seem to bother anyone!! Felt safe in the area.

Media Towers in Hollywood is an overpriced scam from slumlords. It's a management company that "takes care" of the apartment complex, and they have a couple other locations, as well. However, this company is the most incompetent managing company I have ever dealt with. None of them know the laws and so a lot of people that stay here end up getting scammed before they even know it because they made you agree to something you didn't want to. They don't take care of the actual building, and it's practically the same from when it was built. Cockroaches, bugs, mold, and asbestos. Oh! And on top of that, no one really lives in the units because most units are just used as Air BnB places for tourists since it's located right off of the freeway, off of the Hollywood Blvd. exit. It's convenient, and that's where it stops. If you were a tourist, a hotel would still be the better option and there's even some on the same street. Settling for cockroaches and stinky units is not the way to go. However, it's still non-stop with the Air BnB-ers, even though it's also not allowed according to their own lease! Lastly, the people running the office Wednesday-Sunday, who work under this management company, are all collectively the least helpful people to ask for accomplishing any task. Needed to pay rent? They lost the check. Needed to get in the building because your keys aren't working? Not their problem. Needed mail keys? They lost them. Did you need maintenance? Don't even bother, they're not helping you. Find somewhere else.

There is a small stature woman who works there and she's a janitor. She cares so much and asks how I'm doing whenever I see her. I need to move because of health reasons but really may stay here because they have been so kind to me. The pool is clean and beautiful, the staff is amazing and it's always clean! Started with Andrea Lopez the Leasing Agent who was very patient with me and my wife. Showed us few appointment and was available at anytime and any questions we had, even few days after. When we finally decided to sign the leas, also all the process was online and easy. ( she was prepared perfectly to protect us from the Covid 19 and especially since my wife is in advanced pregnancy) Than when we finally sign the lease the "madness"started the building management, and especially the manger John was so kind, got us the apartment ready in less than a week. We didn't asked but they change our flooring, painted the all apartment and much more. The even was welling to re-do and paint the kitchen cabinet. We literally moved to a new apartment.
