I highly recommend Ladds! I called a few different companies and Ladds gave me the best price, had a driver there in 20 mins, and the driver was extremely nice and helpful. 10/10 experience! PS. The driver Juan was amazing and if the bosses see this, give that man a raise! read more

James took very good care of me and got my car all the way to San Jose without a problem. We had a nice conversation on the way, and I enjoyed my trip, which is unusual for being towed! I hope I don't need the service again, but if I do, I will have no problem calling Ladd's. I will ask for James. read more

I called Ladd's stressed out of my mind after smoke started seeping out from underneath my car's hood on Graham Hill. Thanks to the amazing Chris who answered the phone and even went to to coordinate things with Dr. Auto next door, I felt that I was being taken care of in a big way. Everyone who helped me out, from Chris to my tow truck driver Juan to the owner Angelica, was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. I was totally blown away by this awesome company. Good people, great, speedy service, and reasonable rates - this is old-school, outstanding customer service! I love Ladd's! read more

Very pricey and would not let vehicle go even with proof of ownership which led to more storage fees

What a great experience I had with this towing company! It's never fun to have your battery die and even a jump doesn't help! Ladd's towing was great! Chris was so friendly and had the truck to me in 10 minutes of calling (I realize it's not always the case but I was thankful) Kevin came and was super friendly and kind! I appreciate good service from very respectful young men! Highly recommend! was recommended to me by Sean at Mountain mechanic Boulder Creek read more

Ladd's towing east extremely fast to respond-15 minutes from call to start of tow! (I understand it may have been an unusually slow time and not the norm). Sara showed up with a friendly and warm smile. she quickly and effectively got the job done with an infectiously joyous attitude and sparking fun conversation. She was a joy and wonderful human being! Before she left, she asked, "Are you sure you got someone coming for you?" We arrived to our tow destination after shop closing and everyone was gone. I have no doubt she would have given me a ride, had I not had someone coming (it was a very reasonable 3/4 mile distance)! Thats great customer service. if that holds true for all of Ladd's employees, I'll call them every time I need tow service in town. you can't go wrong with calling them. Thanks Ladd's! read more

Typically, love Ladd's service. Today, while we sat broken down, called on Ladd's as my go to. They were closed today but had a driver. Told me to sit tight while he confirmed and would quickly phone us back (spouse, daughter, and me). 30 minutes later, after sitting out in the cold, decided to phone another service (AutoCare Towing). They arrived in no time flat. read more

Ladd's is the best! I was low on fuel after leaving Scotts Valley headed north, and ended up stuck around Glenwood Cut-off without enough fuel to make it to a gas station. I called Scott's Valley Towing Service because they were local, but they were going to charge me $472.50 to bring me 2 gallons of gas when I'm only about 3 miles away! And, it was a 45 minute wait! So I called Ladd's right after, and I'm glad I did. They were extremely helpful and considerate of my situation. They arranged to send their driver Sarah out in 20 minutes and charged $140 for the effort. Sarah was fantastic and even followed me back into town to make sure I was good. An expensive lesson to learn, but at least now I know I can rely on Ladd's to get me out of a jam. read more

Mark was outstanding with my situation with my vehicle broken down at 2 am on a mountain road. What I really appreciated was the time in which he arrived. Nobody wants to be stranded on a dark mountain road all alone, I am so grateful he came. Many people wouldn't know the value of my vehicle because of it's age but he took special care. Definitely years of experience because I have a knarlly road and driveway! Stellar service for sure! I highly recommend Ladd's... specifically Mark read more

Best ever! Other places estimated me at $2500.00 They fixed my car in 1 hour for $150. with no sign of a dent. They even went above and beyond to look at a suspension issue at not cost! I didnt think good people like this still existed. Turns out they are here in Felton~ Stellar!!! ***** read more

Ladd's Towing is one of the best towing service that I have ever had. From the amazing people to their great service. The driver Sara was excellent. She was extremely helpful and a pleasure to speak with. The owner Jack Ladd has great resources and the service he provided us was so much more than what we could ever as for. This is the 2nd time they towed my car. I don't usually write reviews about car services but this was one I had to do. I will definitely call Ladd's Towing in the future if I ever needed their service again. Thank you Jack Ladd and the amazing drivers for the amazing service you have given us and the community! Amazing customer service. I stay at a hotel in Scotts Valley for work, and have been there for several months. I received a call saying that they wanted to tow my vehicle for blocking a door that has no parking restrictions. So I called Ladd's and explained my situation. After talking to Andy for about 5 minutes, he suggested that they move the truck for me. They not only moved the truck but, they also texted a picture of the location they moved it to. I also received a phone call asking if there was anything other could do for me. More companies need to take a page out of Ladd's playbook. The staff is 5 star service. I wish more people and even more companies would treat their customers like Ladd's. Thank you for helping me out of a bind that I should have never been put in. read more

So my Prius was dying, dash lights doing crazy things, would not start, just absolutely nuts. Arranged to have it serviced by the dealer, arranged for a rental and called for a tow. Sara shows up. Takes one look. "Oh, a Prius!" Pops the hood, opens the fuse box and puts a jumper on it. And brings it back from the dead. "You're good, get the battery replaced. Do you still want me to tow or do you want to drive down and get a new battery?" Almost embarrassed, I chose to drive down. Thank you Sara from saving me from a big service charge and a rental. I had the opportunity to meet an operator and great guy by the name of Mark, we were staying in Brian Head (high attitude and hard to find home) with snow/ice/wind, every reason possible for a no show. Not only did Mark show up, but he was also very kind and got my family to a safe and comfortable place in his clean cab. Mark loaded our vehicle and got us to safety. You can not put a price on the safety of your family however the price was very reasonable and less than I expected. Mark went out of his way to explain the charges asking if I had any questions. I can not thank Ladd's Towing and Mark enough! Simply an amazing company. . Every Blessing from the Scott family read more

They damaged my new car when towing it to the dealer, they did not tell me when the damage was done. When I picked up the car from the dealer I saw the damage to my new car. I contacted the owner of Ladds, the owner said he knew of the accident but did not call me. He said the guy that towed the car did the damage but no one had the decency to call me. At first the owner said he would fix the damage but did not so I had to go through my insurance. If you have a choice do not use Ladds because if there is a problem you will not be notified. read more

I absolutely can not stress how life saving this service was. After a beautiful weekend wedding in brookdale for my sisters wedding. Things took a turn for the worst when I went to leave Sunday morning and couldn't find my keys. They were nowhere to be found. Jonathan (my tow driver) came out and opened up my car so I could at least get my belongings in the car. He was very sympathetic and kind and let me know to call if we needed anything else. After not being able to get help that day from any locksmiths or dealerships. Ladd's towing sent Jonathan back out the next day and got my car on the tow truck even though it was in a tough spot and the steering wheel was locked. Jonathan got us over to the Santa Cruz dealership to get help and helped get the car in the dealership exactly where it needed to be. The compassion and excellent customer service I experienced was monumentally amazing and they even reached out the following day to make sure I was ok. I could not recommend this company enough. Their attention, kindness, professionalism and experience exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much Ladd's towing for being the best. read more

Hello Mr. LADD Not good at write ups but on 6/19 2021, I had a wake up call and have to acknowledge Mark for his efficiency and the good person that he is. Needless to say, I was stuck at at a gas station in St. George, Cider City Utah. My truck broke down and none of the locals were willing to help. My situation was not considered an emergency neither by the local towing companies or by Geico insurance. Hope Geico goes out of business. If they make no money they don't get involved . Will leave this garbage insurance after 26 years. they've never done nothing for me . On the other hand Mark did everything as a rep for LADD's. God bless you Mark. I was very far from home but you fixed my truck and I can only say a billion times, thank you thank you thank you. You are a great man and a great person. Thank read more

I needed my car towed last night and was lucky enough to have AAA send a great guy out. His name was Michael and he arrived with a flatbed truck. My BMW would not go into neutral so he could not pull it onto the flatbed. He didn't give up. He called his boss, Marshall and they discussed it. Marshall had already stopped working for the day and was about twenty minutes away. He never hesitated. He showed up with a different truck that allowed him to slip something under the car and tow it away without worrying about the neutral part. They delivered my car to the dealership late last night and it was diagnosed today. It's not good news, but I really appreciate their hard work in the cold last night. Call them if you need help. read more

My driver was great - courteous and helpful. I would be giving glowing review except for this one thing: as I rode with him he suddenly looked distressed and told me my window had shattered. My latch did not work and I told him so. He said they usually ask before taking off if any windows don't work. I called and spoke with the owner, who maintained they felt no liability since they did not cause the window to shatter, in that the tow was conducted as per protocol. My position: if I'd been asked about derfective windows, I would have supplied the info, the driver would tape it shut, and it would be intact today. To assume no liability for this negligence is unconscionable to me. Owner implied I should have known a not secured window was apt to blow out. Ummm, not in my pay grade. read more

A week ago, I was faced with one heck of a problem: my pickup was "dead in the water" in front of my little Ben Lomond studio, which sits behind my landlord's house. Access was darned difficult; so much so the first tow truck driver to appear on the scene passed it to another driver with an overall smaller truck. But, when the next driver arrived, she was in an equally-large truck...BUT DIDN'T SHY AWAY from the task. "I love a challenge," she said. And Sarah shined that day. She is, without a doubt, my hero. Ladd's has always provided me with the best in service, but that day will forever stick in my mind. Sarah, you ROCK! read more

Just had a tire blow out on Mount Herman road and managed to limp into the parking lot at McDonalds. We called AAA for help, and were given a 45 minute wait time. As I was getting off the phone, we were heading into McDonalds to get a quick bite since we weren't going to make our original dinner plans. Mike, our tow truck driver, showed up before the food was ready, and had us fully repaired and on our way before we could finish our burgers. A total energetic bright spot in what was almost a horrible evening. Speedy, professional, and surprisingly energetic and pleasant for 10:30pm on a rainy foggy night. read more

My car had a flat tire and I waited over 2 hours for a tow truck through AAA. Finally it was confirmed that it was a problem with the computer/tablet that Ladd's company was using. I highly recommend Ladd's because of the professional integrity and effort of Chris. read more

My battery died and then my car locked up, I was stuck in park, in the middle of a busy parking lot on a friday night. AAA send me Gus from Ladds. Gus was great. Compared to other terrifying towing experiences I've had, Gus was the opposite of who I expected to show up. He was punctual, efficient, skilled, young and more helpful than I could've asked for. I live on a skinny, pot hole ridden, nightmare of an alley/road, He was able to back his tow truck in and lower my car in my drive way without a problem. My only critique I would give is that Ladds doesn't offer a battery service. I've been told other AAA towing companies offer this. This would've been icing on the cake. I recommend Ladds if you need an efficient and professional tow with a friendly staff. Thanks Gus and Ladd's read more

One recent cold and wet morning, I put my beloved TDI in a ditch on 9, just above the hairpin turn. Ladd's said it would be about 30 minutes and darn if the truck didn't show up about 25 minutes later, slightly ahead of the estimate. That's good time from Felton with a tow truck during commute time. It's always good to observe someone operate with skill and JJ surely is skilled. He expertly extricated my car from the ditch, a foot at a time with great care not to exacerbate the damage. Shortly we were on our way. I asked him to drop me off at Johnnie's and that was that. Couldn't have asked for a quicker, more sure and safe rescue. P.S. Sadly my car was significantly damaged. I'll post a review on Ladd's Autobody read more

You know you effd up right.? Hope you know that, so the story begins when my friends car gets towed, and actually before you begin to talk sh** (LADDS) I was told to write this review for my friend as i was their when it all went down. So, my friends car gets towed by LADDS i dont remember that big dckheads name but what i do rememeber is that the CHP had called them, had it towed, and when going down to Ladd's to retrieve items out of the vehicle you can obviously tell the vehicle was ransacked. That's funny because when my friend and I left the vehicle it was fine, had some fresh snacks I even felt comfortable leaving my $200 cash. After calling the CHP they had told us they just had it towed, and that they didnt conduct any search of anykind. So what does that mean ? Means that the only MFckr who could have took the cash and ate the snacks was most likely the dckhead who towed it. So to conclude the story hope you dont get your car towed by these crooked ass people. And make sure you dont leave any cash & goods in it because it will disappear, and they will also leave the evidence (wrappers with fresh finger prints which i still have in large plastic zip lock bag) in the car on the floor or where ever. read more

Truck wouldn't start after stopping at Wild Roots Market in Boulder Creek. Called road service, got a text from road service advising eta for tow truck is less than 55 minute. Jason from Ladds Towing called and advised he was on his way. Jason arrived within 35 minutes of the initial call. Let me say this has got to be one of the most best tow experiences I have ever had. Jason pulled my truck up on the flatbed and secured that sucker. My truck wasn't going anywhere except home. Great conversation, great driver and got to take the scenic route through the backroads. Where do I begin, I would give them 0 Stars if I could. The lack of customer service is out of control. They need some customer service training. We are stuck at a gas station on Father's Day because our car broke down. We called Ladds Towing. The dispatcher told us the wait time was 30-60 min. It's 90' degrees outside so we are very hot. We waited 30 to 60 mins. No tow truck! We call and the dispatcher let's us know that it will be another 30 to 60 mins then she proceeds to tell us it will take 60 to 90 mins. Our problem is she didn't even call us to let us know what was going to be even longer we watched two tow trucks from Ladd's towing drive by twice. In all we waited 3 hour and ended up call another company that showed up in 15 mins. I don't recommend Ladds towing. read more

Last night had a roadside emergency which I had call the tow truck company in a dark mountain road. Called the phone number and it rang and rang.. Called back multiple times and finally someone answered. The person on the phone told me that she was not qualified to take the call and to call back in 20 minutes or so. Now I have used them before and even though they are a bit on the pricey side, they do good work, but I have never had a business of this nature not send their calls to a call center or simply not pick up the phone. read more
