I just wanted to shine the light on this minority owned, black owned, female owned homemade ice cream and coffee shop. The owner is the barista AND the person scooping the ice cream. Her smile lights up her cozy little shop. She's the sweetest person I've met wearing all the hats she wears. I've been there three times. Twice for the homemade ice cream and once for the coffee. I didn't get a picture of the items. They were in my belly before I remembered. She is across the street from the Sandman Hotel. Business has been slow since the hotel is being renovated. Renovations have been going on since the basement blew up. But right now, she is up and running due to the city clearing the street for FIFA. Very confused because I showed up on a Thursday afternoon at 12:30 and the door was locked, called the store phone multiple times with no answer. No indication online or on the posted hours, I even asked the bookstore next door to make sure I was at the correct door! Sad I didn't get to try given all the great reviews. read more

Small little shop wonderfully decorated. Ice cream is delicious, creamy, smooth, wonderful flavors. When we went in the owner was only was selling pints out of the freezer. We bought the rum raisin (sooo good) and was provided with paper cups and spoons to split it up. Would definitely come here again. read more
