Loved this little place wish I had tried it sooner. Was very close to Le Tsuba hotel where we were staying at. A large assortment of freshly baked pastries and desserts. My friend and I stopped here on our last day for breakfast. We ordered cappuccinos and was one of best they had a pretty large selection of coffee choices but since I didnt speak French played it safe with a cap but saw other beverages people were ordering and looked delightful. Gentlemen working in restaurant by himself was excellent and treated us very well as busy as he was. I ordered an omelet and my friend a Croc Madame we loved both dishes. Perfect portions and placement and price was very reasonable. We noticed they do get alot of regulars and we could see why. Loved the pink and black colors and light fixtures very cute. Looking forward to coming back to this place on my next trip to Paris as I plan on staying at same hotel.

A location close to the L'arc de Triomphe, lots of outside seating and lunch prix fix menu for 17€. We ordered a panache, iced tea, 'mini' flank steak with frites and beef tartar with fries & salad. Food came quickly and was good. For dessert we ordered tarte aux pommes, and (2) cafes. Total came to 45€.

Lovely cafe off a busy square. I had entrecote and frites. Coke light. Service was good, not rushed. I enjoyed a book.

Cute friend bistro right around the corner from our hotel! The place had cute decor with mirrors on the ceiling, white, pink, and black decor. There's an outdoor patio and indoor seating as well. Great sandwiches, food, drinks and wine. We got some sandwiches after a day of eating and drinking we ordered some sandwiches and my husband got the a heavy foie burger that was flavorful too. Simple place for a nice long casual meal. They have a lot of desserts but we were too full!

    Nice decor inside.

My sister had the omelet she didn't enjoy but I thought it was very tasty. It was juicy and cheesy. It came with a side salad and fries. I had the croque grante dame. It was okay but dry. The bread was good. It came with a side salad and fries. I ordered the French onion soup which I really enjoyed. It was a large portion and we couldn't finish it. The cheese cake had a bitter flavor on the top maybe a raspberry but the cake was delicious. I would recommend this spot.

My girlfriend and I shared a croque madame. The bread was flakey and crunchy. The dish was very savory. The cafe had ample outdoor seating.

Pierre Hermé If you…read moreknow Pierre Hermé from social media and all the viral videos, then this review needs no introduction. But if you haven't, this is a strong contender for worthy macarons in Paris and at a convenient location across the street from Ladurée. Located inside L'Occitane in the most gorgeous floor space ever, you will find Pierre Hermé at the center of it all. They have an impressive array of flavors that were much more unique than other patisseries. I definitely asked for a few recommendations as well since I tend to order the same thing (pistachio, raspberry, lemon, etc.) The workers were very kind. They indulged my request to converse in French and corrected me in a respectful and endearing way (I know some people get upset at this idea but I personally prefer it.) I had ordered a dozen macarons but truthfully would've ordered the entire lot if I wasn't alone and especially if I wasn't already taking a ton of sweets back for my flight home. I am a Ladurée purist and what I can say is that Pierre Hermé definitely had the best and most unique flavors compared to the two. The prices are fairly comparable and the coffrets are just as tasteful. Both are strong contenders and worthy of your money. I certainly will be returning and look forward to trying the rest of their selection. (15/50--2025)

Pierre Hermé is home to some of the best macarons I've had in my life -- which is probably too many for the good of my health -- and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the macarons, the staff's attention to detail, and all the unique flavors this shop had to offer. As a popular macaron shop in one of the hottest tourist destinations in Paris, this location is undeniably crowded. There's usually a huge line circling around a central display of macaron after macaron. The line looks pretty intimidating, but it moves quite quickly, and there are so many flavors that it'll probably be helpful to have a bit of extra time to review the menu. My friend and I split a pack of four macarons, including their seasonal isapahan (rose, lychee, raspberry), infiniment praliné pistache, and a jardin de cassandre (red currant, rhubarb). The macarons were delightful. I loved the two seasonal items; they were delightfully fruity and slightly floral, and I loved the slightly tangy flavor from the raspberry in the isapahan and rhubarb / currants in the jardin de cassandre. The praliné pistache was nice and nutty, and the inner cream offered a great additional richness. It's usually super crowded so seating tends to be quite limited. My friend and I ended up taking our macarons to go and enjoyed them elsewhere as we toured Champs Elysée.

Ofcourse the macarons has attracted me and ofcourse I got myself 4 in the souvenir tin! It was super hard to pick 4 out of the many flavors there. But I picked 4 and they were not sweet at all. Tastes great! Environment On the main walking street, you can't miss it. The inside has a lot going on, it is a store, a pastry shop or a cafe! The line system for the pastries was almost non-existence.. but Im glad I was able to get the introduction to the flavors and wasn't busy. But I can see it can get chaotic. Once you make the selection you get a slip to make the payment. Niceness of the staff Despite the amount of people walking inland out and looking, the staff was very patient as I calmed my sensors down. Dollar All macarons are expensive I see. It is close to 3 euro per! When I thought the US macarons were expensive.. it is just as expensive in the homeland! Yes/No I definitely would return here

There was a line for the inside tables on a rainy day but it went quick and the wait was less than 10 minutes. The aesthetic of the interiors is just as delicious as their food. Service was good - make sure to check your bill as they mistakenly overcharged us as the waiters were switching shifts. The bathroom is downstairs and requires a code.

I came here on my first visit to France with my sister and brother-in-law. I had just finished my time at the Eiffel tower and walked over to this restaurant for a drink and a snack. I was seated immediately, waiting for the rest of my party. The staff were incredibly patient, allowing me to stay for the fifteen-ish minutes it took for my family to arrive. We, of course, ordered the hot chocolate topped with cream. It was incredibly rich, which was the draw. It was required that we each ordered our own teapot, which provided about two and a half cups of hot chocolate. This was a bit excessive, as the drink was heavy and I could only stomach a cup. I did wish the restaurant allowed us to split the pot amongst our table. Nonetheless, I enjoy dining at Carette and returned on my second Paris trip with my husband. Anyone visiting for the first time should try their thick hot chocolate at least once.
